KCP's been fine for the Magic tbh. A lot of good shots just weren't falling at the start of the season but he's really picked it up. His defense and hustle is incredible, too. He's really bought into being a part of Orlando's future and we like him over here, even if it wasn't the greatest start
Vassell is gonna be fine. You gotta remember he was coming back from injury so was on a minute restriction for the first few games of the season and they struggled to properly integrate him into the new Spurs offense. Check out his stats from the last few weeks, cuz he's looking a lot more like what you'd hope from him. I wouldn't be surprised if he averages closer to 20 points a game for the remainder of the season
Vassell has been coming back into form the past few games, on both offense and defense. Unfortunately the rest of the Spurs have been playing terribly.
Devin vassel was hurt and he had limited minutes and was coming off the bench to get healthy. And his play was getting back to speed. I think hes been good
You mentioned the Timberwolves in this video, and I feel like Dante DeVincenso should be on this list. As a Knicks fan, he totaly won me over while he was on the Knicks. Nowadays however, not so much. Now it feels like the Monstars got to him and he's nowhere near as good as he was on the Knicks. I don't know if it was just his teammates on the Knicks, or if it's just a one hit wonder type of thing. But I feel like he's definitely a drop off from what people hoped and expected.
My top 5 most disappointing players: 1. Randle - He's still a black hole on offense. Terrible fit with Gobert. Bad attitude and mostly mid performances at best. They knew what they were doing when they went for the trade, but still... he completely ruins their flow. Jaden McDaniels has been kinda bad as well, but that's mostly due to their entire offense being in the muck with KAT gone and Conley in the geriatric stint of his career. 2. Murray - Has been playing well recently, but he has absolutely terrible in the first 3rd of the season. He was dealing with some nagging injuries, but in some games his lack of effort completely ruined them, especially when Jokic was sitting. IF he can get healthier, Denver is a threat in the west. They're starting to click and with Russ return to form they're looking dangerous. If Strwather and Watson continue to improve, they could make it to the WCF. 3. Butler - Totally agree with you. The stupid drama, the lackluster performances. 4. Kuzma - To get worse on the worst team of the league certainly is an achievement. He's completely lost. 5. KCP - I have no idea what's going on there. He's played a ton of minutes, but can't find an offensive role at all. He used to be a good spot up / catch and shoot 3 & D guy, but this season, his scoring is down by a lot. I don't know if that's due to their system or just him being in a slump. At least he still provides good defense.
It pains me to say this as a Rockets fan, but Jabari Smith Jr. hasn't shown enough yet imo why he was worthy of a top 3 selection (but similar to JG, there's time). Mind you I don't agree with most NBA fans who think Jabari's a draft bust, and whenever I watch this young Rockets core play and grow together this season, I've seen Jabari make some nice plays here and there, most notably on the defensive end with some high energy blocks. But even with all of that, he's still been massively disappointing. Did anyone come into this season thinking Tari Eason would comfortably hold the starting 4 job? Also while this post isn't about Jalen Green (a player that I think gets massively over-hated), why is it that we are so ready to jump down the throat of JG for not being consistent, when the guy is 22 years old and has at least proven late into the year that he can give you all-star caliber scoring? With JG, we want him to do this all year and that's fair, but at the very least he's flashed that potential of both athleticism and high volume scoring that made him go #2 overall. Even Amen Thompson took a nice leap that I wasn't fully expecting yet, and I think while he still has to develop as a full time playmaker, he's already making us consider trading Fred Van Fleet. Both Amen and Jalen have passed the "eye test" so far. But with Jabari... it's just depression fuel. Not only was he considered in 22' to be the #1 consensus throught that process, but he was also being given comparisons to be the next KD based on his scoring potential at Auburn. Paolo Banchero was mocked to us at #3 as a "consolation pick", and injuries aside Banchero looks like one of the future faces of the NBA already. I haven't seen Jabari Smith Jr. wow me with any crazy highlights besides certain high level plays here and there. For 2 off-seasons now, we've seen him play in the summer league and dominate dropping games with 40+, only to go out into the regular season and average 11 points a game... It's such an odd position to be in as a Rockets fan because even with everything I just listed, I STILL see potential for him to develop into a high caliber player if given enough of a chance, but the sad reality is that this might just be a case of bad team fit. Teams always fear when a guy they picked (like LA with SGA) goes somewhere else and breaks out, but if you also don't make a move during the height of someone's trade value like the Warriors never did with Kuminga, then you have an untradeable money pit. I don't think the Rockets will make a move this season given how well the team is playing, but I do think heading into the off-season, there has to be some sort of legitimate discussion on whether or not you invest into Jabari's stock or just move on, but I think letting him go into next year without a definitive stance is a terrible idea.
Jabari won’t be able to show his potential in HOU, there’s too many guys that need the ball in there hands.( Green, Sengun, Vanfleet) he needs to be on a team like Brooklyn, that’s losing so he can be able to take more shots and be able to make mistakes and get comfortable. Rockets are competing now and Jabari’s hasn’t shown any growth since coming in the league, no reason to run plays for him when there’s better guys on the team.
@Fr3sHbOi1000 I fully agree with you but goddamn does it suck, but definitely we need to manage this off-season deliberately if we want to maximize his trade value or take a risky investment in giving him the ball more
Thompson has been good but they are far off being in a place they should trade Fred Van vleet, he's been such a glue guy since we finally got a decent pg after getting rid of KPJ. I think the Rockets are the perfect place where we see how this years roster goes, even if we get knocked out of the first round it's a huge W just making the playoffs with how bad they've been the past few seasons
Zion is more dissapointing than Kwame, Fultz, Ben Simmons, The Phoenix Buns whole franchise, the big 3 Shitty Pierce KG Ray Celtics and Anthony Benett combined lets all be real.
At this point in a redraft Pods would barely be a 1st round pick, but I think that's more to do with Steve Kerr being a bad coach and not utilizing him correctly. I think it's time for major changes in GS and I think they need to move on from Draymond and Kerr.
All I can say about scoot is maybe he has a late-r rennesiance like deni has had. Granted no one had the expectations for deni like scoot, but deni underwhelmed his first couple years, but was a late bloomer and now one of the best guys on his team. I always liked avdija and seeing him master his niche and becoming an true jack of all trades player (albeit on a terrible team) has been fun.
Vassell has honestly been way more disappointing defensively than offensively this year, his off-ball awareness is terrible and he's getting constantly beaten off the dribble, I don't think he's the second best Spurs this year anymore, that crown would probably go to Castle or CP3.
I have my own list of the twenty most disappointing players in relation to their contracts..from the east..embiid, paul george, derek white, ben simmons, lavine, haliburton, butler, adebayo, kcp, jpoole, kuzma..from the west..steph, dray, beal, kawhi, morant, zion, klay, gobert, henderson, markkanen, jamal, gordon, ayton..a total of 24..
I mean his last 5 games he been playing as on offense.😂 if anything he might be the next Alex Caruso if he keep on playing ass on offense. He a lock for dpoy though
Markkanen doesn't seem right. Misses 1 or 2 games every few weeks and lacks the explosiveness he showed the past two seasons. Maybe just coasting amd not wanting to risk injury and focus on getting back to 100%
Bron passing Kobe in most missed shots in history in the 1st game against the TWolves and is currently on track to have his worst average box +/- in his career has to be the most disappointing...the so called king...the "chosen one" the self proclaimed goat
Ngl I feel like the 76ers have been disappointing, less PG. Since he’s got some continuity going he’s been great. By far their best defender and scoring 23ppg since Christmas (don’t quote me on that but that’s what the broadcast said). What’s disappointing is that when he’s playing well the team isn’t good. Even though the numbers look great for Maxey, he’s been shooting them out of close games and his playmaking is inconsistent
I'll probably get hate for this but as a sixers fan they need to trade joel asap while he still has any sort of value left. if he even has any at this point

Jaden McDaniels hasn’t been good on defense this year really. Better than the average player but bro’s been getting cooked by so many guards. He can’t get around a screen and Fox, D Book, Cade, Shai, Kyrie, D Mitchell have all dropped so many points on his head. Obviously those guys are such good offensive players but he hasn’t made it hard for them to score 35+ with ease.
Just starting the video, but Randle is definitely more than a bit disappointing. All Star with the Knicks, looks totally unmotivated with the Twolves, just highlighting all the worst qualities he had in NY with none of the good.
Jimmy literally is acting like a diva. But he's alway done this he gets tired of a team then acts like a child till he's traded. He's old and way to injury prone.
Shocking player that takes more 3s the scoring and shooting percentages go down. You think shooting a shot where the league average is a 65% miss rate would help you shot more than 40%:) More 3s and your average going down. Why is this shocking to anyone. It's the lowest percentage shot in the game even if you are so called good at it you'll miss 60% of the time. Which should get you benched but now gets you 50 a year. No wonder fans aren't watching the NBA now.
Halliburton still hasn’t been near that top 2/3 point guard in the league that people were hyping him to be last season. And he’s still had more than a handful of poor games since December.
Really not bams fault he’s not playing as good. The heat are starting to crumble. I’ve known butler was an issue for over a year now. Herro thinks he’s Stephen curry. KCP's been fine for the Magic tbh. A lot of good shots just weren't falling at the start of the season but he's really picked it up. His defense and hustle is incredible, too. He's really bought into being a part of Orlando's future and we like him over here, even if it wasn't the greatest start
Matt, can you make a video ranking which teams have the best collection of draft picks? Thanks!!!
Bam, Klay, PG, Donte, Butler, Randle, Keegan
just been injured pretty much - IQ, Vassell, Zion
Vassell has been coming back into form the past few games, on both offense and defense. Unfortunately the rest of the Spurs have been playing terribly.
Where is that nba clock in the back from?
You are a good talker… subscribed 💯
if embiid isn’t top 5 list is botched
Agreed!ua-cam.com/users/shortsBmc9NFfhx74?si=oHRszOGFw3DHEKoR🫠🐛🫠
Devin vassel was hurt and he had limited minutes and was coming off the bench to get healthy. And his play was getting back to speed. I think hes been good
Where did you get the nba games thing in the back if I may ask
You mentioned the Timberwolves in this video, and I feel like Dante DeVincenso should be on this list. As a Knicks fan, he totaly won me over while he was on the Knicks. Nowadays however, not so much. Now it feels like the Monstars got to him and he's nowhere near as good as he was on the Knicks. I don't know if it was just his teammates on the Knicks, or if it's just a one hit wonder type of thing. But I feel like he's definitely a drop off from what people hoped and expected.
My top 5 most disappointing players:
I agree especially with all the 'big moves' from the off-season. Klay PG and Butler are WASHED
Klay "0/10" Thompson
Paul "Ball Game" George
Jimmy "I Walk A Lonely Road" Butler
@CarmeloAnthonyLover exactly! These are all guys I really liked in the past but let's be real time conquers all.... except LeBron
@@MrTNY-ve5lp The ageless king 👑
what are you talking about klay has been good
It pains me to say this as a Rockets fan, but Jabari Smith Jr. hasn't shown enough yet imo why he was worthy of a top 3 selection (but similar to JG, there's time).
^Too long
Jabari won’t be able to show his potential in HOU, there’s too many guys that need the ball in there hands.( Green, Sengun, Vanfleet) he needs to be on a team like Brooklyn, that’s losing so he can be able to take more shots and be able to make mistakes and get comfortable. Rockets are competing now and Jabari’s hasn’t shown any growth since coming in the league, no reason to run plays for him when there’s better guys on the team.
@Fr3sHbOi1000 I fully agree with you but goddamn does it suck, but definitely we need to manage this off-season deliberately if we want to maximize his trade value or take a risky investment in giving him the ball more
@@hunchosett I think they should move him for a veteran forward like Jerami Grant or even try to make a package for Cam Johnson by the trade deadline.
Bam would look good on the Warriors. They need to make it happen!
I hope the Spurs will trade Wemby for Fox. Sabonis and Wemby would be a crazy combo! I'm dreaming I know...
Zion is more dissapointing than Kwame, Fultz, Ben Simmons, The Phoenix Buns whole franchise, the big 3 Shitty Pierce KG Ray Celtics and Anthony Benett combined lets all be real.
You never disappoint 😂😂
28 % for a guy that normally don't shoot threes is impressive
What about Knecht? Was great in November and got lots of hype but has done poorly since.
I think this was -rookies and disappointing from the seasons prior
I feel like the spurs young core should be a lot better than it is, I expected better progression from a few guys
Can you believe Kuxma turned down a trade to the Mavs last season? Oh well, we ended up with PJ
i need that NBA board in the background rn.
You get the best out of these NBA players the year before their contract extensions after they get their money they just they're showing up
12:57 i was finna crash out if i kept going with the wemby take cause aint no way
I mean his last 5 games he been playing as on offense.😂 if anything he might be the next Alex Caruso if he keep on playing ass on offense. He a lock for dpoy though
Markkanen doesn't seem right. Misses 1 or 2 games every few weeks and lacks the explosiveness he showed the past two seasons. Maybe just coasting amd not wanting to risk injury and focus on getting back to 100%
Pat Riley basketball was a great early title on the Sega Genesis.
Bron passing Kobe in most missed shots in history in the 1st game against the TWolves and is currently on track to have his worst average box +/- in his career has to be the most disappointing...the so called king...the "chosen one" the self proclaimed goat
Yeah man he's 40
Ngl I feel like the 76ers have been disappointing, less PG. Since he’s got some continuity going he’s been great. By far their best defender and scoring 23ppg since Christmas (don’t quote me on that but that’s what the broadcast said). What’s disappointing is that when he’s playing well the team isn’t good. Even though the numbers look great for Maxey, he’s been shooting them out of close games and his playmaking is inconsistent
Anyone that thinks Jamal Murray belongs on this list clearly stopped paying attention in December
Jamal Murray isn’t a bad player, but he definitely isn’t worth the contract he was given
Same goes for MPJ or Aaron Gordon for that matter
@matthewcade4249 I get that but I'm willing to shed some money to guarantee we have shot at the title come playoff time
Anyone that takes on Zion Williamson will pay for it dearly
Patrick Williams is a defender so he shouldn’t be on this list..the bulls are currently over achieving based off that roster build
2:41 is my video just glitched for me
No it’s a mistake in editing
I legit forgot KCP was a Magic he's been such a ghost. Geez.
Like all these videos, they talk about how bad these players are and then show highlights of them playing awesome😂
At least Zion's consistency is one thing you can't pin against him.
IQ from Toronto. He has had some freak injuries but still has been disappointing at $32.5Mil
I'll probably get hate for this but as a sixers fan they need to trade joel asap while he still has any sort of value left. if he even has any at this point
Summer is the earliest they can trade em
Can someone link that scoreboard he has in the background
Of course you posted this after Okongwu just played the best 4 game stretch of his entire career. Might be breaking out.
Maybe I’m jinxing it the right way
Same thing applies to scoot
@@daxc9332 nah. Okongwu did it with wins, dominant scoring, rebounds and defensive plays. Scoot only had one win in the last 4 games.
Also Okongwu just had a game winning block + 2 free throws to put the defending champions away yesterday.
Lmao at four fucking games.
@@zerobucketswins aren't just a player stat. They're a team stat. okongwu has a better team
As a Heat fan, Bam has been horrible this season and idk if can be the face of the franchise anymore like we thought.
Maxey is playing well tho
3:46 if they really wanted to punish Zion, they should've forced him to play
Please link the scoreboard
You out of every other UA-camr has slander for scoot, this "I was wrong about Scoot Henderson" video better go hard
As a warriors fan, the whole warrior roster except curry
PG was so predictable. The Sixers just don’t make good decisions.
As a Hawks Fan bogi is way more disappointing than okongwu
everyone has been disappointing this season.
Just starting the video, but Randle is definitely more than a bit disappointing. All Star with the Knicks, looks totally unmotivated with the Twolves, just highlighting all the worst qualities he had in NY with none of the good.
Scoot has had 3 good games in a row let’s hope he can keep it up 🤞
4 now
@ I used to pray for times like this
Jimmy literally is acting like a diva. But he's alway done this he gets tired of a team then acts like a child till he's traded. He's old and way to injury prone.
Has paul george (playoff p, podcast p, pg 13 games played) fallen out of hall of fame consideration?
Don’t worry some of these guys will show up for contract year
Shocking player that takes more 3s the scoring and shooting percentages go down.
I think Brown form Celtics is very dissappoiting, he wasting so many shots and misses a lot
HaliGoat turned his season around so this should have been TJ McConnell
Halliburton still hasn’t been near that top 2/3 point guard in the league that people were hyping him to be last season. And he’s still had more than a handful of poor games since December.
Kuzma 🤦♂️ I honestly think he might be tanking so he doesn’t get traded
ahhh yes, my favorite players to fade in DFS apps
Klay has been terrible so far for Dallas huge disappointment it’s even more noticeable with Luka out.
Numbers don't mean jack when it comes to Jalen Duran, because he bodied Nurkic overrated ass on The Suns
Really not bams fault he’s not playing as good. The heat are starting to crumble. I’ve known butler was an issue for over a year now. Herro thinks he’s Stephen curry. And they refuse to slide bam to the 4 and get a competent big man. Can’t expect 6’9 to be the biggest guy on your starting 5 and still win games
Scoot has improved a lot and way more efficient. Simons is more disappointing.
Simons, Grant & Ayton have all been really disappointing this year.
Pat Williams is definitely the most disappointing player on the Bulls and he has a lot of competition on that team.
Why is bro talking about the sixers like he’s making hot takes, we know these guys suck
Idk why jamal murray isnt on here vut he is getting better
Bam trick yall man.. literally every C has good ass games on him and I haven’t seen him guard 1-5 since 2018…
Why this guy have so many different channels for the same content
You can’t blame Chauncey for Henderson being ass stop it he gone be ass where ever he go
Bro hasn’t been watching onyeka recently he’s been cooking wym
