I have always admired Kurt. He was a neighbour of my good friends at Kurt’s cottage in northern Ontario. My friends claim Goldie & Kurt are the nicest level people he’d ever met. Their children were so polite and untarnished. Goes to show you goodness is part of their private lives.
I love hearing this because that’s the exactly how I picture them as well, regular people who just happen to be famous. And the fact that they are also known for being kind is just amazing.
They’ve had their Muskoka cottage forever now. I remember years ago Goldie was getting mad at ppl driving their boats constantly trying to get pics of their home. Apparently and no surprise their great neighbours . Muskoka is such a beautiful area
I met Kurt when Wyatt was playing hockey in Richmond. Kurt saw my Great Dane across the arena parking lot and called out. I actually thought it was a guy I know until I got closer. Was so hard to be cool. He hugged and kissed Daina’s head. After he drove away I did the crazy fan dance. 😍

Kurt Russell is a phenomenal character actor. I owned and had seen every movie he started in. When he did the sheriff in small town him in a overweight frumpy uniform , bravo! My mother was in her seventies and I invited her to go see the movie escape LA.. SHE REALLY ENJOYED IT. Great memory great memory.❤

Wyatt played his junior hockey in Vancouver and Kurt and Goldie moved to Vancouver to be with him. Such a great family and great to see them successful. Wyatt was a excellent goaltender by the way.
Kurt & Goldie are my favourite Hollywood couple! I watched Goldie for the 1st. time in "Foul Play" and Kurt in "Escape From New York"! Wyatt mentioning their cottage in Muskoka reminded me that on a fishing trip with 3 pals, I dove naked off our boat to retrieve my most expensive lure that got entangled right in front of their cottage! my friends and the people on their deck were laughing their heads off, but I wasn't going to loose that lure, lol!
Say hi to your mom was fantastic ! Me and my friends and pilots saw UFOS in Brazil so many times. There is one beach they are always there , it is secluded . They have different colours of lights and they are pretty much as the pictures or drawings about flying discs

I know listening to "audio commentary" on a particular movie may be a thing of the past since laserdiscs and dvds, etc...have been replaced with digital downloads and such, but if anyone wants to listen to the best of the best ever recorded, every single one that Kurt did with his friend and collaborator legendary Director John Carpenter on their films together (Escape from N.Y., The Thing, Big Trouble in Little China ) are just simply put - the best damn ones ive ever had the pleasure of listening to along with the film. I wholeheartedly recommend them all... Especially Escape From New York (My personal favorite!) And kudos to Wyatt for carrying on the Russell acting legacy...Im sure his grandpa Bing would be super proud of him today... Much love to all your family Kurt, as mine had been fans of yours for decades! And Overboard is definitely still playing here every year and has been since it was on video in 1988... Wow, Kurt & Goldies cottage was very close to my aunt & uncles cottage as well in Muskoka! We visited and hoped to see them but never did..😅
