@user-vf3pe9ce5x Yeah, magical sorry about that. But through their magic, they did bring about great technological advancements. Nothing science fiction like, but technological advanced all the less.
Still not entirely convinced the Valyrian origin is as simple as shepards discovered the dragons in the fourteen flames. Something deeper happened, involving the Dawn Empire of the east and something that has to explain the corruption of oiley blackstone as opposed to the Valyrian blackstone... and some funky dna melding stuff to explain the....weirdness that manifests here and there with Valyrian dragonlords.
No, the Doom of Valyria is similar but understand the Valyrian used "Blood Magic" to create their cities, statues, and roads. These blood sacrifices of humans their souls used to power their magic and keep their beautiful cities and roads. But the Doom unleashed these poor souls trapped within the stones and they cause the Volcanos to erupt and their lands to sink. This is why the old Valyrian road near old Valyria is now called the "Demon Road". The souls used to make such roads know haunt it.
Now believe or not this based on the real Roman road network that crisis crosses the United Kingdom and France. Many of these roads have seen a lot battles and violence and where still haunted up until modern times.
A single volcano eruption in Iceland in 586 AD caused a worldwide famine for about 2 years, killing many thousands of people through starvation. how exactly could the dragon lords not beat the gyscari easily lol, cus its sorta assumed that not many dragons were killed right? and if dragons weren't killed then how could they possibly lose
The lore of the Targayans has never made any sense to me. They where one of the 40 dragon lords of Old Valerya, meaning they where one of the ruling family's. Regardless of there strength compared to the other dragflords it makes absolutely no sense to me that Noone left Valerya with them. Being one of the 40 dragon riding familys means they must have has some degree of political clout no matter, how major or minor, yet noone left with them, wtf. You would have thought some of the non dragon riding familys that no doubt supported house Targayan while thy where still in Valerya would have taken them seriously. Gifts like visions don't just appear overnight, and the Targayans bloidline is full of people who have dragon dreams Yet apparently Daenys the dreamer was the first of her kind. Bullshit, psychic vesions dont manifest in a bloodline over night, then suddenly become commen place. There would have had to have been some degree of that power present for a long time for it to become commen place after reaching Westeros. And with that said, again, I say GRRM's lore of Valyra and the Targayans maker no sense to me. He needs to learn hiw these things work before he uses them in his books. For thn Targayans dragon dreams to become so common place after arriving in Westeros, they would have had to marry into a family that also had dragon dreams, while they where in Valerya. true that inbreeding could play a part in passing on the gift, but being one of the weaker dragon lord familys they would have had to marry into other bloidlines to increase there power at some point. And i find it to be complete bullshit that none of thise familys took Daenys seriously. Being a lesser house would mean the bloidlines they married into wouled have also been lesser houses. And for Dragon dreams to become guaranteed at least 1 every generation then they'd have had to had them while in Valyria . And if they had them while in Valyria theres no reason the lesser houses that supported Hiuse Targayan wouldn't have left with them. GGRM has no clue or respect for spiritual beliefs and gifts, and as a result, he has no clue how to right them so they make f#*king sense
You have to understand "Dragon riders" are rare in Valyrian society. But "Dragon Dreamers" are rarer still. What is unusual is that her family listen to "Daenys the Dreamer". Writing down her dreams in book, that has since been lost. Most that have the gift are ignored, like the real life "Cassandra" the real life Priestess of temple of Apollo in the story of Troy, given the gift of the Oracle, but cursed by the Gods that no one will heed her warnings.
Valyria was where their magic was the strongest. But there where other Valyrians that lived in their colonies in Essos. They just where not Dragon riders. That why the Targaryens where consider odd. However, I believe the Children of the Forest where sending messages to Daenys the Dreamer to move. Also, believe that it was the Children of the Forest that made sacrifices to the Weirwood trees to destroy Valyria. We tend to forget the Children of the Forest made sacrifices to the Weirwood trees to break the land bridge of Dorne creating what we now know has the step stones. The Children of the Forest made sacrifices to the Weirwood trees to break the Neck and creating swamps in that region.
Yes House Velaryon was a noble family in Valyria, they just weren’t one of the 40 dragon lord families like the Targaryens, which were the only noble families that had dragons. They most likely built their wealth from trade given their maritime nature. House Celtigar is another house from Valyria, but they seem to be from a lower status family than the Velaryons and definitely the Targaryens.

They were a threat to the entire world, and it's for the best that Valyria's gone.
@@leeashley1902 Technological? You mean magical right?
@@leeashley1902 Yeah good riddance.
Ghis vs Valyria sounds like Carthage vs Rome.
A cataclysmic eruption of the GOT magnitude would have been similar in its global impact to the Permian event, causing mass extinction of nearly all forms of life on the planet and triggering a global 😮ice age. It's the one part of the story that is just rediculous in nature.
This guy sounds like lott Dod from star wars the clone wars lol
Valyria is Rome
Ghis is Hellenic Egyptian
Ashai is Greece
Yi Ti Chinese
So is the Horus heresy series cancelled?
Diplomatic relations between Valyria and Farum Azula?
Not sure if Plaacidsax would be kind of cool with the Valyrians or order their extermination. Want to see that ZOOM meeting 😅
So did old man Martin create all this lore or is this fans filling the world in?
How is all of this known ?? Is it in the books ?
You could make a series on kurukshetra war , it was 18 day long .
I'm not too keen on you adding the 3rd part only as a part of the whole documentary and not separately as well :(
What is the source for this video?
all this for bran to be king...
*Bloodraven, Valyrian blood still flows
He really should be king, in the books it will make more sense tho
This video contains too much of Andal storytelling and therefore cannot be trusted to provide thruthfull account of the East. Valyrians ARE descendents of the Great Empire of The Dawn, the Maestars are all wrong, and so is this video! MUAHAHAHAHAHA! Victarion Greyjoy is Azor Ahai!
This comment is an exageration of my fanaticism for this franchise. Loved the video.
your using a game for a map right?
how exactly could the dragon lords not beat the gyscari easily lol, cus its sorta assumed that not many dragons were killed right? and if dragons weren't killed then how could they possibly lose
Wow
Btw if it is cannonical how did house valaryon came to be. It is portrayed as a scion of valyria in westeros after the targerians

What is this clip from and where can I watch it
So the Valeryans were just another group of aholes who happened to have dragons.
