2 Step || EXPLAINED

- 2 Step is short for 2 Step Rev Limiter. It is a form of launch control that when tuned properly can help build boost at launch. Certain tunes also can have the car shoot flames out of the exhaust. I explain how and why all this happens in this vide.

That was a sick explanation. Short, simple, and to the point. Thank you!
I’ll make it simpler: Moronic
It was complete bullshit but ok. If you have no turbo why should 2step make pops and bangs. and antilag is not suppose to ref your engine... Its to keep your turbo boost and reduce the "lag" of boost when you hit the gas after a shift. Hes not even understanding the simple thinks in my opinion
@@svenski7392the video explains about 2 step not anti lag. They're different
Thanks for the great explanation! I have always been afraid to two-step my cars because everyone says it's bad for your engine. Now that I know you can do it safely and without flames I'm going to give it a shot 👍
I always wanted to know more about this world. Here in Brazil this is a restricted knowledge that tuners hide. Thanks for sharing this content bro. As a Marine Engineer, I can also apply this knowledge onboard.
Os mecânicos e tuners agem igual uma máfia de criminosos nesse país. Sinto vergonha desse pessoal preso nos anos 80 que não sabe mexer em nada mais complexo que um motor AP.
Saw your vid on TikTok and I’m surprised this doesn’t have more views. Keep up the good work man
Thank you I appreciate it 😁
Back this week with great content I definitely recommend my family and friends to your channel because I really learn a lot and you explain with a lot of detail for understanding

Explained very simply and quickly. Subscribed for more.
This is the second video of this dude i have seen. he is 2 for 2. i'm not happy about only learning of his videos just now. the subtle humor is quick witted and wrapped around interesting information that is easily digested. A1+
Literally came here because there’s an other video out there that leaves you more confused. Simply and well explained thank you

I guess I'll try again.
Dude, best explanation I’ve ever watched - on any subject!
This channel is extremely underrated.
Way to go, mate!
Great video and explanation on this tuning method. Not a fan of it, but now I know what's all involved.
best explanation on internet brother thank you I've been trying to get answers from last one hour but finally I got it thank you bro👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Bro this video was so good and the issue at hand was so well-explained, that your channel is now my go-to for anything related to cars. I really hope more people started making videos like you. Keep it up dude. hope you the best.
I was shocked to see this is a small account top quality content don't ever stop👍🏽
I'm new here,
The explanations are precise, on point, short and extremely informative. Don't forget to add the laughter in each and everyone one of them.😂😂😂
More videos please
Clear, correct and to the point. Bravo, caballero. You just earned a new subscriber today👍🏼
I've got a beautiful Nissan, a s14A1 with all it's original SR20DET engine and parts (in fact I am restoring it as new) except for the exhaust, I gift him a 3,0" Duramás Line from the dowpipe to the end except for the rear muffler wich is a Mongoose one. It makes pops and bangs just right as it is👍🏼 no flames, just pure ecu cutting the fuel and spark. Btw it just has 55.000km (not miles) so it is pretty uncommon😅
all you can see these days are tuned up to the ass s14-s13 240sx, as you want to name it... They are fun, but they usually have a very brief life...😅
Props from Spain.
my favorite video of you is when you talking about lowering your car by using either coil overs, springs, BAGS lmao, or going static
Lol yea lots of people liked that video 😁 ... Thanks for the support though, I appreciate it
Great video! Watched lot of videos this was by far the most simple and to the point one. Subscribed.

Glad you said it is actually bad. Yes it is a super flex, but only when you can fix it without taking food off the table.

I was getting ready to combat you in comments untill you did a great job following up with the timing adjustments.
Just to remind u, ur work is absolutely commendable.

Very good and short video bro and hearing damage is indeed underestimated too often.
you my friend are great, love the information detail and you are really entertaining !
Wow, very good explanation. I had no idea this is how it worked
Fucking hell . When someone makes a 5 minute video and describes a thing so good . You know you hit a goldmine of educational videos about cars . Well deserved the subscribed mate . Amazing video , keep up the good work !!

Thanx man right on point, straight and simple.
I wish I could like and subscribe a million times. Great content
I’m so happy you mention that it can be so bad for your car when you’re shooting the flames and being obnoxious ❤ we all love cars, we all love LOUD CARS AND HEARING DAMAGE AND BEING OBNOXIOUS but the people near by didn’t sign up for our noisy ass hobby, keep it to a minimum and respect others ❤
But also do some obnoxious shit sometimes they can handle it once a month or so
My brother your videos are high quality, informative and entertaining. But that intro music sounds like the alarm that rings when im late for school and work at the same time
best vid i saw in a long time thx
You just got a big fan man, good info.
Liked and subbed! You explained it really well!
With so much BS out there watching your videos is great. Short. Concise. FACTS!!!

Dude I didn't know DJ Khaled had a YT and was so into cars!
Well said, sir. Much appreciated🎉
Hearing loss effect drove that point home; definitely something to consider
bro i came from tiktok, already loving it
You explained very thoroughly about what it is and how it works for launch control but I figured you’d have delved more into the drift scene and how guys use a 2 step for throttle control when sliding. 2 step launching in manual cars is actually kinda tough and not as simple as tuning in a 2 step and having a perfect launch. Otherwise every drag racer would use them 😎
Drag racers DO use them. Almost every drag car, manual or auto, uses it to prevent wheelspin.
@@johncoops6897 yea you’re right I guess I’m considering more manual street cars not necessarily actual dragsters. You’re right tho 🙏🏼
thanks for the explanation brother 💯
All important keys, they on point!!
Thanks this was a very informative video. Could you please explain how exhaust flame thrower kits work and if they are commonly harmful to the engine, exhaust, or compete car. I'm pretty sure that they are more than a radically tuned 2-step however I don't know. Thanks
Another great video
Loved that Donut reference 🤙
And also add that the n2mb wotbox was THE BEST 200 bucks i have ever spent on a mod for any vehicle ive owned, the no lift shift along with the 2 step launch control was simply amazing, and the icing on the cake was it would shoot flames out of both exhaust tips.... 😍😍💨💥🔥
Very good explaination
Nice vid. Subbed.
Amazing man love your videos ❤️❤️
I appreciate you 😁🙏
Just 1 question but first of all u are so fun to watch :D,
if i understood you i just got audi s3 8L i can "throw flames" lets call it that if i go and do a chip for pop and bangs ?
thanks
This is a great video, I enjoyed it keep it up
I appreciate you 🙏 thanks 😊
really informational, thank you
👊 great videos broh
Just tested this on my 150cc motorcycle, and it works like a charm, I'm using fuel and spark cut method just to be on the safe side, although I don't know how safe it is since it can become very lean due less fuel.
How did it end up?
Not only he explain 2 step, but also he gave us motivation 1:57 - 1:59.
I clicked the like quite pleasantly
Yo i just found you on tik tok these are really well made
Thank you 😁 I appreciate it
great video, so straightfoward
Thanks DJ Khalid

Rly good video, nice explanation. Keep it going dude ;)
Thanks man, this is very encouraging 😁🙏
Hey man! First video I watched and I love it! Now can this be done in an automatic Civic? And what exactly do you do in order to trigger the 2 step. I know u can floor it while stationary but what about while driving and i want some pops or burbles? And can u do a spark cut tune and then go from there to a fuel and spark tune? Like just enjoy the flames for a little bit and then go just to pops and burbles? Thanks!
Thanks man, glad you like it. To answer the question, yes you can have it in any car with any transmission, the way you trigger it could be a state (when stationery in Neutral) or even a button, every car is going to be different and every tuner does it differently.
Which tune do you recommend getting? I also have an automatic civic, my car makes the burbles in sport mode when I use manual shifters, however they are not that loud. So I really want to make it louder and also pops. Any recommendations of hondata or Ktuner? Or what do you recommend? Thanks in advance.
@@ricardorodriguez1391 straight pipe and a ghost cam 🤣
What changes would bulletproof a car for 2-step? Titanium valves? Custom headers? Billet turbine wheel and housing? Head studs?
I think the 2step tuned with spark cut only is also known as anti-lag. Some don't even call it 2 step. It's treated as something completely different because of the difference in the tune, damage it can cause, etc.
I think youre right
Anti-lag is something completely different, where fuel is injected (sometimes directly into the turbo inlet) to ignite and keep the exhaust turbine spinning.
It's almost the reverse of a two step, which just limits the engine revs.
@@johncoops6897 Depends on the kind of anti-lag. anti-lag is a purpose, turbo go brrr, and there are various tunes or physical configurations to achieve that purpose. Or at least, that's what a video said. I don't know shit about cars. Why am I even here.
@@jnevercast - not sure why you are here either, nor why you are trying to argue about things you know nothing about 😃
@@johncoops6897 Seems like the thing to do on UA-cam don't you reckon?
About the hearing loss, you spooked me
Do you know anything about the 3rz engine, bc if you do it would be great if you go over how those work. Bc I have one and at about 4,000 to 5,000 rpms it acts like a 2 stroke engine and hits power ban
