- Just me giving my thoughts on the EcoFlow Delta Max 2 with the 400 watt mobile Solar Panel.

Good honest observation about the Solar panel. That was the whole point about my “reliable power” video (oh, thanks for the shout out btw. Great idea from Tinkerer Adventures, and then what sealed the deal for me was Matt explaining that the DC converter wouldn’t put much load on the Alternator) solar panels don’t always pull in their max rating. 240w from a 400w input sounds about right for fall/winter. You might get close to max from 11am to 1pm on a sunny clear day. Also, the problem with soft panels is that once they reach a certain heat, they just aren’t efficient. The bottom spacing that hard panels have keep them cooler 😎. The Delta 2 Max as a power station is awesome, but I just can’t stand behind soft solar panels

And yeah, 240 sounds about right. I've never seen anything close to 400 here.
My plan is to have hard dual sided panels mounted at some point and eventually probably get rid of the 400 'mobile' watt all together.
I'd love to see a DIY solar setup on the island!
247 / 260 with the sun that low was surprisingly good for those panels and those angles. A bit more tilt to the rack might help, particularly for the fall and winter.

I see you have the panel at odd angles. If you angle all 4 parts of the panel evenly you will get a better harvest of energy. You can use a solar angle finder or a speed square to get the angle positioned right for the sun. This is the first video I am watching from you. I subscribed.

I don’t understand the title of your review “unflattering…” What did you dislike of the Delta 2 Max? I heard you complain about the Jackery. I really did not see any review of the Delta 2 Max except that you would recommend it. I didn’t learn anything about the Delta 2 Max.
Did you watch the video? He talked about how the solar panel is not really that mobile even though it's called their mobile. He talked about how if you wanted to do something DIY you could do it yourself cheaper than buying one of those. He's saying that he likes the unit because it does what he wants and is turnkey but if he had had the time he would have probably just done it himself cheaper..... Where are you wanting a hardware overview where you know somebody shows what the device looks like what ports it has and all of that not a review
Read the title of the video. It doesn’t talk about solar panels, it is about the Delta 2 Max. What is “unflattering” about the Delta 2 Max? Of course you can do a Do It Yourself generator. If it was so easy, why did he buy the Delta 2 Max.
I guess I consider "there are cheaper options" "the solar panels aren't worth buying" "they play games with pricing" etc as unflattering aspects to the product.
Maybe I'm just unhinged?
