@@solaropposite6112 apparently it's an abbreviation for Quarter 4. It's the fourth quarter of the year or, in other words, the months of October, November, and December. These are big selling months.
I’m going to give this a try now that the warehouse is taking awhile to receive shipments. I just want to make sure I have this shipping thing right.

@@TLosiRacing the first two items I sold were the same item the Holiday Barbie 2020 I paid $4 each and I think I sold them for 22 plus shipping. Then right after that I sold two Barbie deluxe pet dream houses i paid $2 each sold for $28 but... my first four items did not sell on Amazon they sold on eBay and mercari because I had listed them on multiple places at once and when one sold I just deleted from the other place

Dear Nikki, you always upload great videos. My problem is that if I want to list a product ( eg Power crunch ) Amazon says to apply to sell and then asks for an Invoice. You said in Video that you can buy it from Walmart then what about the invoice. Please guide.
I have just purchased my first sample item to list so this video is soo helpful! I was wondering about the cost of shipping.... you stated when you make a sale you don't actually have the money in the account until the buyer has recieved the item so would I be paying shipping out of pocket until the payments go into the account or would the account go into minus? Do you have to print barcodes for items that DO already have UPCs on them? I’ve read that you don’t, but I’ve received books with the barcode on them so I’m not sure.
@Nikki Kirk I saw some gentlemen buying their shipping via Amazon for a steal of a deal. One was selling hair clippers and paying only 3.49 for shipping each.
Hey Nikki, another great video. Question and note for you...when I upload/list from the app, it does not actually add the tax code to the products. So you then manually have to enter it after on the desktop...can you please confirm if that's the case for you, or if you know another way that it does automatically default on the app.

Nikki how returns work for FBM? If we buy shipping from Amazon do customer get prepaid shipping lable? Is that free returns for customer if I do FBM?

Hi thanks for the great content! Question: on the example you listed, it shows as lowest being 8.33 but you repriced it to 13.99. How did you get to 13.99 from the suggested 8.33 it pops up with?
HI Henry, I think you are probably talking about the Amazon app screen where they repirce it to show their credit but I don't get the credit so I repriced it to see the fees on 13.99
Are these shipping templates just for FBM or for FBA as well?
Does the design of the poly mailer matter? I want to get some with designs but am unsure if we can with fbm
Are you just going to your local stores price differentiating with the local store price and Amazon and if this item is cheaper at your local store you just sell it on Amazon for more. Great video by the way.

Theresa Marie that’s so funny I actually cut that part out of the video because it doesn’t really relate to a lot of people. I use my PO Box as the address so sometimes I have to pay extra when it thinks I’m further away than I actually am but it’s not been an issue yet

Hi Erica, Thanks for your note! Glad they are helpful. Nope that's not correct. You can sell toys but you may not be able to sell the FBM. Only FBA.

Do you have to send a receipt to Amazon when you FBM? I bought a pallet of Target shelf pulls at a liquidation warehouse and don't have a receipt other than what the cost of the pallet was as a whole. I have TONS of new clothing.
No, however they can come at you asking for the “invoice” which in most cases mean a receipt with all the itemized products. I recently had to provide them with this information.
For you, it's better to do FBA. In case of FBA, they usually don't ask unless something goes wrong

Nikki so when I get ungated thru ur guide as a example I buy qty of 12 of a grocery item I take pics n I send the in voice for Amazon as a new seller does that just ungate me in that brand or the grocery catogory too so I can explore other grocery items without have a invoice on all the products I buy n send in ?
wick city Hey! The guides walk you through how to check all this to make sure you buy something that will ungate you but yes, if you get ungated in grocery with one item in an invoice you can now sell all grocery without an invoice. Of course some brands are still restricted even for me but the majority will be open to you

It will just cost more to ship so I wouldn’t list it until you get it home to weight and estimate the fee to ship it across country

I don't know what that is. They base it off where you are sending from and where it is going.
I’m new to this I have been selling on eBay since June I really wanted to sign up with amazon when I signed up they wanted a card number do they charge the 40 automatic or give me a chance to pay 1 per listing to start with?
They charge you right there and then 😞
Based on the above comments they charge then however you can start with the free individual account. When I started I paid one month out of pocket and the future months all came out of my amazon balance.
Can you use regular paper for the shipping label
Sometimes, I ran out of shipping label and use regular paper. Just make sure you put tape all over the paper, so it's stay in place.

Hi, tried to join FBM and it said that they are not taking anymore at this time. So, fba is ok, but did you start with books, since there isn't a whole lot for beginners to sell, before getting ungated.

You can use a valid ID like drivers license

Only if the seller is prime FBM seller. I am not one and it always says not accepting applications at this time

You can sell anything, the heavier it is the more it’ll cost to ship. I’m not completely sure what part you mean. If you clarify I can help better answer

Yes they can and do. Typically if they can ship it sooner than the FBA seller or if it’s cheaper

Bought multiple clearance items to sell after making seller account and everything is restricted. No one tells you this will be the problem with trying to sell. Very disappointed.
Hey Michelle, I’m sorry that info didn’t make it to you. I always explain to not buy anything before you can confirm you can sell it. It’s pretty widely known new sellers can’t sell in a lot of categories and brands which is why I created my guides to help.

Why not get free mailers and boxes from USPS shipped to your house?! No poly mailers but they have so many sizes padded envelopes and boxes! Unless you know a free way to get unmarked mailers and boxes? :) Thank your for sharing all your tips. New to this and it helps
My house moves every week or so 😉 I get free ones from post office when they make sense for the item. Most of my stuff is small which the padded from USPS is $7.50 flat rate but I only pay $3.50 for envelop AND shipping so it wouldn’t make sense

I have seen some of your videos and have found them very informative. However, the advice in this video is simply bad. I cannot believe an experienced Amazon seller is advising people to return bad buys to the store. That's a good way for stores to stop being reseller friendly. I understand that you may not have had much experience with fbm at the time of this video but I would expect a content creator to do a bit more research on the subject before advising others.

this is not step by step ? you did not mention how to start and create FBM ACCOUNT what are the steps for fbm account, then how to list the products, how to pack the products, shipping process , printing labels, box , etc
I’m sorry my free content wasn’t up to your standards. I don’t have a video that shows you how to open an account with Amazon. There is not such thing as an FBM account. It’s just your Amazon account. The rest is in this video. Maybe watch again.
