Hi Nikki, I am so glad i came accross your channel! I have been reselling in Mercari for over 3 years. How different is Amazon from Mercari on the reselling aspect? And what do you do with the inventory that doesn't sell?
It’s very different, things sell faster and Amazon has their own systems you have to play within. You can make a lot more money, I buy stuff that will sell, I rarely have stuff sitting for more than 3 months

I’ve noticed the rank change happening on a few times-where it looks good on the front screen but then on the next screen it’s a high rank. So I guess I’m not going crazy! Lol

@nikki Kirk or anyone else who may know! When you set up for a UPS pick up through private ship, can you leave items on your front porch or do you have to be present for them to be picked up?
Yes I leave them out every time. The UPS driver is your normal one so they know the drill

You are seriously the Sourcing King in my book. Amazing purchases and profits. Its always so interesting everyone seems to find their Special Place if you will. I have never had that kind of luck at Grocery Outlet. I mean it was ok but I just do better at other Stores.

What do you do when you have FBA shipment discrepancies? E.g. Amazon says they got 2 of 3 items in and the shipment is closed. I can now submit my reconciliation request and send the receipt that I own that 3 items. The problem is that I got it from Marshall’s and they do not add item description ( just states beauty) and labels the item with internal Id. Is there anyway to recoup from the loss of said item?

I'm starting to do just what your doing. The problem ia, as you know, Im not ungated in alot of brands. I'm buying stuff about 3 at a time from my wholesale supplier to get the invoices to send in. It's getting pricey and thats just in the health and beauty catigory. Do you have a better way? love your videos tnx
Thanks! No there isn’t really a better way but those purchases are just investments into your business and once you are ungated you can then source stuff at retail for better profit

Yes!! I can’t say it’s all that fun to live in it now that I don’t travel in it but when I was traveling for 5 years and all the lower 48 states I LOVE living in an RV! It’s totally worth it even if just for a few months or a season. I’m ready to start building a house now 🤪 (maybe it’s just cause we currently have no power either)
I’m curious if store employees or managers ever give you any grief about scanning items and hanging out in the store so long. I used to do retail arbitrage and FBA and I was also paranoid people would wonder what I was doing. I’m really wanting to get back into doing arbitrage & FBA again … I use to have so much fun doing it.
Nope! No one really cares what we are doing in fact some managers and store associates bring me out more stuff from the back. You defiantly should get back into it! Perfect time of year for it

I went in May and sold $3000 profit in 8 weeks and I’ve sold out of the rest of it now
What does IP stand for?
Intellectual property, basically a brand is saying you’re stealing or using their IP without their consent. Which you’re not but it just causes problems because we sell on Amazon
Everyone says the profit. But nobody says what they had to spend in order to make that profit. Guessing around 8k. I barely have 200 to spare after bills per month. It’s rough starting and having no credit.
My ROI is under 100% so I’m spending probably $13k. I do show all the numbers at the end of the video. And yes if you don’t have money to start a business even a small amount it may not be for you right now but something you can work towards if you want it. I started with $1000

I think prate ship increased their fees
I’m not sure I know most people get pickups for $4 but mine has always been $6 unless I was in Oregon in a city then it was $4 so I think it might be how rural OK is where I’m at
I’m in Eugene and my UPS pick up is $13.50!
@@busy.with.it. oh wow I would just go through UPS direct then, it’s only $9 but I would also call or contact pirate ship that doesn’t seem right. I did one last week and it was still $6.50
