Girl!, you can not believe what happened to me , I recently started selling on amazon and believed FBA was the best option, but I soon woke up from my sleep when I found that every product I shipped to amazon had a problem because they kept losing my products, if I send 100 products in a box for example, 10 or 5 were necessarily missing, so I directly changed all my products to FBM and I no longer send a single one of my products there, so I agree with you that FBM is definitely the best option. thank you

Thanks for helping me setup my shipping templates. Can you describe in what situations would you use each of your templates? In the video you did state that you use the Ground Shipping Only for items that are designated as Hazmat. When would be the best time to use the other templates?
Also...do you have problems with things getting crushed in the padded envelopes? I Don't want my items to get crushed but sending things in a box is so expensive.

Hi Nikki, love your videos. Something off topic, I'm curious what you put on your resale certificate when you gave to Walmart? Is there a generalize one yo use since you buy a mixture of products? Its specifically on where it asks describing of property to be purchased for resale and what business of selling the tupe of tangible personal property? I haven't been able to utilize my resale certificate and I know I could have a better ROI using it. Thank you!
Well at Walmart they set it up once and if I put anything there or at other stores that have it like Tuesday Morning I just write general merchandise
Hello Nikki, so for items less than $6 do you recommend then to always do FBA? Because it does not make sense, even if it's like stickers, to ship them in en envelope as the cheapest shipping cost with tracking is over $4.

You mentioned making sure your using the right boxes. Like for priority or flat rate. What if you are using boxes from Walmart??
First, thank you for posting the video. I learned a lot from it. I am a newbie selling on Amazon. Just listed my first product a few days ago. I do not have any options to change shipping. Is that because I am on individual plan vs professional? Is it worth to pay for the professional plan? Would I be able to switch between both plan?

Hello Nikki, Are you registered or listed as a store for brand/trademark on your Amazon Seller page? If so do you have information on how to proceed? And if it’s necessary?
This is not needed unless you’re private labeling products.
Another question, I have a product I want to sell, there are 14 listings with variations already set up in Amazon, the UPC does not match on any of the listings to what is on the box that I have purchased. I attempted to set up a new listing and it’s warning that there are already listings there for that product and which means I know it’ll say that I can’t list it. The pictures on all listings are outdated and so the package weights aren’t correct nor are the calories (it’s a grocery item) which is why I wanted to create my own listing. My attempts to correct or adjust already set up listings have failed and in the end I end up not being able to list the item so I hesitate to suggest a change to the listings, what would you do? Close you eyes and just go for it? Or attempt to contact Amazon? My attempts in the past to contact Amazon have been a net zero, they say they correct things but nothing changes or I get a new warning. The last time I suggested a change I think they audited all my listings because I had a bunch of warnings on other items that same day lol.

For expedite do you have to use the USPS express boxes?

The migrated template never seemed to be change . It's stubborn. No other option underneath popped up.
I do not see that size flat rate box on usps anywhere. Did they change the size of the small flat rate box?

Hey Nikki, I see that on your free shipping template you have the free economy, and for standard they pay $4.99 ... so if the customer chooses to get the Free economy, do you still buffer in $5 on top of your listing price on all your inventory set to 'free shipping' for FBM ?

On your $4.99 template, how are you charging $4.99 flat rate plus .99 a lb in Hawaii but not the other states? It will not let me do this in my template as it says all the rates have to be the same across all states?
Video is very helpful. Would be great to have a video for individuals accounts. The shipping credits are still confusing after watching your shipping credit video. Do I add it to the price when calculating or do I listing it in the ship to customer area. Most books I have seen are sent media mailer but I have been having a hard time finding this option
If you’re individual seller than the credit is for you, Amazon charges the customer for you.

Do you have a video how to pack and wrap your products for shipping im trying to send a 24 pack of soda but I’m kinda nervous about it spilling or getting damaged. Any advice for packing it so it won’t burst every where lol ?
Same question here. Sometimes I leave things behind because i'm just not sure how to package something. As we all know amazon does not handle all packages with care.
That's an easy one. If it's fragile or can't pass the drop test, then stay away from those type products.
A book under a pound no bigger than 6x8x1 will cost $6.26 with the UPS ground shipping as their discounted price. $6.28 with USPS.

Ahhh Canada is super expensive and it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to FBM there from what I understand

I’m trying to get into FBM, but sometimes when I list on my phone it works as it should and then when I click to view all the sellers on a listing I am not there. Not sure if anyone has had this happen but I can’t figure it out. My MF inventory shows I have the item in stock but yet i am not on the actual listing. Hope that makes sense if anyone has an idea
I’ve never had any luck listing on my phone, I list on my computer. Requesting approval doesn’t work on my phone either, I get approved and it still says I have to request approval. Now I use it as a guide to know that when I get home and list it I’ll get approved.

I have a question. I started selling on Amazon FBS in March and now for Q4 I am selling some things FBM. I just made a mistake and I don't know how to solve it. So my customer order 3 items, I sent 1 item (it never occurred to me to look at the quantity sold) anyway. I have sent a message to my customer. In the event that he wants the other 2 items, how do I go about printing another receipt to send the other two items, can I do that? I have been pressing some buttons and I found how to fully or partially refund the customer, but I can't seem to find how to send the rest of the items, can you please help me? Thank you in advance.
I did that once myself and just sent the left out item as soon as I realized what I did. I used pirate ship to make a second shipping label and didn’t have any problem.
On most items you’re not even going to be getting $8 of profit so how are you doing free shipping on items like that? I can’t think of any instance where free shipping would be plausible for a FBM seller.
Hi Nikki, I just had a buyer purchase a book at 10:30 P.M. Monday with 1 day shipping. I have 2 day handling. 1st I was required to ship it today and 2nd they charged me $33.47 to ship and the buyer paid $11.97. After 45 min on the phone with Amazon I had to ship it or get dinged for a cancellation. Have you had any FBM issues like this?
Hey, I would ship it and consider it a costly learning mistake. No I haven’t had that because I do not do one or two day shipping because this happens all the time if you aren’t charging them correctly. I show in the video but I only do “expedited”

seems like the extra $$ i make selling an item FBM vs FBA is chewed up by shipping cost. not seeing the financial benefit to selling FBM. what am i missing?
Make sure you are adding that cost in when you purchase. Don’t buy anything without that cost added in

@@NikkiKirk we just dont see how we are stand to make more $$ doing FBM vs FBA..either way we are paying for shipping, the only thing we save w FBM is AZ Storage fee (if there is any). We feel like we are missing something w FBM. Actually, shipping bulk products to AZ is cheaper than shipping individual items to individual customers.

Does Amazon have media mail? Basically what’s the cheapest way to send books because I know I’m doing it wrong? It’s costing me over 9 dollars to ship a book where as on eBay I can ship media mail. Thank you for any help on this :)
I think they do for books yes. I don’t sell them so I’m not certain but I’ve heard they do.

All I do for that is take out expedited as an option so it’s only free and standard shipping

You uncheck the option on your template.

The Q4 group has closed the regular year round bolo group changes but it’s under 300 people

UPS is better than the Post Office, they lost some of items and they take whole year to refund the money.
are you only able to do a shipping template when you have the professional account??what about as an individual seller??
Yes, only professional. For individual accounts Amazon charges the customer for you
Hello Nikki... You mentioned Pirate Ship and how you do not recommend it because if something happens, you are out and would need to refund the customer. Well, I have not used the Amazon A-Z program, but I know that if a package gets lost using any other method, ie USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc... you would refund the customer anyway. Just wanted to correct you when you say that you would be out of money when using Pirate Ship... Not True! When you purchase Priority Shipping, It comes with a up to $100 insurance coverage, which is $50 more that what USPS offers! Just thought you should know!!
Yes you can go through the carrier but if you purchase from Amazon directly it’s VERY easy to get your money back from Amazon and Amazon does the stuff with the carrier since you used them to purchase.
