I have the locknflate on a short hose. That thing has never once slipped off the valve stem. You're right it's very long though. I have these other quick grip chuck too, unfortunately they have a harder time not slipping off the valve stem.
Actually quite well I have a car I don't drive much that has aluminum rims that are corroded so there's a slow leak from the rim I don't plan on replacing the rims anytime soon so this has been really quick and easy to pump them back up. Also gave one to my dad and he hasn't had any issues either

Does this effect the accuracy of the inflator? As in how many psi it reads?
I have not seen a difference.
