i will say 1995 was best, even after being in isolation/sanctions/sports boycotts during the apartheid years did nothing to the quality of rugby, the country could still win a World Cup, that's why i always say sanctions do not help, in first world cup thy win against the best of teams at that time, just imagine if the country was never boycotted what rugby team thy would of been,

Man, that brought tears to my eyes just like it did on the day itself. A memorable moment for the Springboks! The only criticism I have of this video is that there were significant moments in the match that are not included here. Beast scrumming Sinckler into the ground in the opening minutes was a massive moment and then there were the last 10 or so minutes in the first half where England were within five metres of the Springbok tryline but just could not penetrate that incredible defence.

I remember Billy Vunipola stating in an interview days before the final, how the England forwards were planning to bully the Springboks. He was obviously ignorant of how incredibly tough and resilient South Africans are. After the game Billy looked as if he was totally crushed by a tank, bloodied, beaten up and comprehensively defeated! Next time, think before you open your mouth! Great performance by the Boks, especially Malcolm Marx and Lukhanyo Am who were very much involved in both tries!
