CG is unfinished...it'll get some work. In the timeline, this is after part 2.
James Cameron stated that this doesn't ignore Terminator 3, Terminator Salvation, and Terminator Genisys. They are all taking place in alternate timelines, thanks to the time traveling that Skynet and the Resistance have been doing. Remember, Arnold stated in T3 "Judgement Day is inevitable", which in Salvation, we witness Terminators that are more advanced than the ones in Kyle Reece's flash backs in Terminator 1. Then in Terminator Genisys, we witness even further advancements in the Terminators. The longer we prolong Judgement Day, the more advanced Skynet will become, until the Resistance will have no chance in winning. This is the Dark Fate, that no matter what, we will never actually win, we're only prolonging the inevitable: Judgement Day!

Why they just didn't call it T:3 Dark Fate. That would've made a whole lot of sense right now in this time

So... Ghost Rider is a Terminator? Didn't see much John Connor in this which is weird since he's in the movie which means he dies first 10 minutes. Skeptical of this one as with all of the Terminator films since T2 but will reserve judgement until the reviews.

First!
Nobody wants to discuss or even acknowledge the obvious flaw here with this new movie. If DARK FATE is a "direct sequel" to T2 (which both James Cameron and Tim Miller insist it is) then why isn't Edward Furlong in this? Not only was there no legitimate reason to not bring Furlong back, but this so-called "direct sequel" makes absolutely no sense without him.
Where did you guys go?
