Great video man! Sad to se it only has gotten 2,6k views and its lass than the other Valheim content. The thing is that the algorithm has seen that you make Valheim content so will only promote that, you can ¨Break free¨ from it after about 7-10 other genre videos and the your channel will get flagged as variety genre or you you make more these types of videos it will maybe become info/documentary (you get the point). Anyways great video but i haven't gotten any notifications about this one even tho i have the bell on, get notified by the other videos you make. Hope to se more stuff like this to on your channel man!

My personal favourite healing system was from a game called griftlands, where the final of the three playable characters (and by far the worst balanced) could heal himself through "moxie" or just by being cool and flexing during combat. Fun game, sadly got killed off before it finished development.

This is a really fun video, and a deep dive into core game mechanics. Im not sure why the views and likes seem so low. On another note, I was surprised you didnt go into detail about the valheim food mechanic. i find it very unique and it solves the silly problem of scarfing food in the middle of battle. It cleverly moves the food management to before and after the battle, but not during.

In hindsight I definitely should've talked about Valheim since I am so familiar with it lol but thank you I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

You should check out The Long Dark. The amount of afflictions and illnesses you can get are quite numerous and each has its own type of healing mechanic. Dysentery, food poisoning, intestinal parasites, broken ribs, sprained ankles/wrists, lacerations, blood loss, insomnia, cabin fever, hypothermia... to name a few lol. And as stated, there are different ways of healing each of these. It's kind of crazy how broad the range of injuries is.

Just looked it up and it sounds like my kinda game! Love first person survival games so I'll definitely put it on the list and try to check it out sometime soon

@@HauntedOath it's definitely a unique survival experience. I personally wouldn't invest much time in the story unless you're doing it as a tutorial of sorts. Survival is where it's at. Hopefully you enjoy it!

Im really resisting the urge to "um actchully" you with the osrs factoid about three ticking. Three ticking is really just animation cancelling . It can be used to speed up eating. But it also gets used in a bunch of other situations. Fishing. Hunting . Mjning. Fletching. Magic.its actually what allows prayer flicking. The statment is just wrong. Healing isnt 3 ticking.
