- Ever wondered if you can beat the Bosses in Valheim while Trolls spawn every few seconds? No? Well.. I did, here's how things played out 😀

I think using top tier foods and the major healing potion in the elder fight is a little bit of a cheat

Look up the speed runner ThreadMenace. You will see the glory of spears!!
Literally all speedrunners use the spear as a main weapon.
@@omgnobrainthat’s because spears work as infinitely reusable ranged weapons, great for cheesing enemies in areas like the sunken crypts, in the normal game though, spears get even more screwed by terrain than other weapons, and pierce is the worst damage type
spear is literally the best weapon in game.
@@sose6255 pierce damage is the worst type, spears don’t have any pushback or swing arc so you can easily get swarmed, and the attack is too thin and high up so hitting enemies is inconsistent
I would not even imagine how it would be playing with this mod, I already have problems with 2 trolls before I get Iron or silver. Props to you and your determination

Great idea but I didnt like how you still used end game foods against low level bosses. You were essentially face rolling elder with that hp bar.
Yeah in hindsight you are right. I should've definitely adjusted that for the first few fights.

It's so funny how trolls are everyone's angstgegner. Even now when I can beat them to death with my fists, they are still the mob that gives me that 'oh no!' feeling when I come across one unexpectedly. Even a 1 star seeker soldier is a business-like fight, but a troll is personal to me. Maybe because I died too often, and also because I was never that weak again after graduating from the Black Forest. 😄 Trolls made me get my Sneak skill up high, then my Blocking. It was so satisfying to be able to face a troll openly in one on one combat, instead of having to outsmart him.

technically, it's not possible to get a pickaxe before Eikthyr, meaning going underneath the alter was a bit of a sketch move. still good tho.

Not that it mattered since you were using endgame food so damage from trolls were negligible but you used Troll Armor for Eikthyr which kinda broke the rule you set
You must have a top of the line PC if you can do this with not much lag.

7 months late, but I have to agree that you didn't follow your own rules that well. Although you can get Troll armour before Eikthyr, albeit with difficulty, you cannot get a pickaxe, especially not a Bronze one, so you did have to cheat for that one. Then, for every boss prior to The Queen, you were using Mistlands-tier foods and meads, which is also pretty much cheating the fights.
If you limit yourself to whats available in the biome, please also only use the food available at that time. Fighting the elder with omelets and Misthare surpreme and major health potions is just not impressive
Dang expected a legit playthrough and not a lvl 100 skill cheat "i beat bosses" run
