My gf and I have been duoing Longwinter. We aren't to the pivotal point yet, but loving it so far. She takes index cards and draws postcards of the local stops after we visit. She absolutely loves the art in all of your work.

That's great! First 30 seconds and we have a very pertinent observation! That makes a lot of sense! I'm enjoying this video! Thanks for creating and sharing!

Of course it makes sense, but hearing that Lem was an influence for Rejec is very validating. I love his work so much and am incorporating it in my campaign with my brother.

I find Luka's comments about Rules as Written interesting and illuminating, although I profoundly disagree with them. I think this is because we view the issue from very different perspectives. I think it is important to understand how the rules are described and how rules are supposed to work (RAW vs RAI), but to me the main point of Rules as Written isn't so you play games "the right way", but rather to have a contract with your GM: if I do THIS then THAT is the most likely outcome. If my character has this ability that means a lot to me, then this is how that ability will work at the table. Not all groups nor styles of play need that, but some groups/games do. And of course, you can always change what the rules say, what's important is that they are agreed upon and respected throughout the game.
