    One thing has been bugging me for years now: Why isn't that classical sounding solo at 3:19 (with the harpsichord layered underneath) in the song on the album? Makes the song 100x more amazing!!!

    I love the added classical sounding melody at 3:20. Can't stop replaying it. Same thing for Dimented and several others parts of the album.

    Very cool stuff, using the staff to essentially create a new musical language! Reminds me a little of Howard Roberts, Don Mock et al and sonic shapes, where you spell out words on guitar by imagining you are writing out the shapes of letters on the fretboard.

If so, I wanted to tell you that you are such a huge inspiration for me; I like you because you are THAT kind of guy you know? those guys that are a tad bit smarter and crazier than everyone else and take advantage of these qualities to put sounds together to help you understand reality. Thank you for this awesome video.

      Ron Jarzombek
      I can't wait personally, also, Ron i have always wondered if you own or have played any 8 string guitar yet? Also whats your opinion on the whole 8 and 9 string scene, more specifically, from a tonality standpoint, or even practicality. Either way just keep making music, you truly are the limit in my mind, i have respect and admire many of today's guitarist. But you are on a whole new level, i hope to get to your level one day, but listening to you now is like being able to see in the future, as far as just how good and technical i could ever get.

    Ron, at the beginning of your video, you started the first two lines in C Major. Then you moved Line 3 to G Major and then Line 4 to A Major. But on your video, at 4:58, you moved Line 4 to E Major. How come?
    I did see where you switched half of Line 3 from G Major to E Major, but you continued on through the first half of Line 4 in E Major, then switched it to A Major. So I am a little puzzled...

    • @ronjarz
      @ronjarz  10 років тому +3

      At the B7 (the last chord of line 3), we're in E Major. Line 4 continues in E Major, but the second measure of line 4 is in the key of A Major. If you have any more questions email me at ron@ronjarzombek.com. Thanks...

    When you said "let's move the letters down 1", 1 what exactly? How did you end up with the F#? There's no key signature... Then with "down 2", there were more sharps...
