- Great News! The job quotation I posted got the go ahead from the client and we have made a big start on the works.
In this video we install a full copper two zone central heating system with white panel steel radiators, TRV'S and Lock shields. The boiler we will be installing is the Navein LCB700 28KW Oil combi boiler.
Look out for part 2 where I will reveal if I actually made any money!

Always a treat to see copper run with such care and attention to detail 👍
Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
You and Bailey must be so proud of your work 👏 even though most of it is never going to be seen it's still a work of art , so professional 👏👏👏
That's really nice to hear. Thank you. We try our best, even if it costs us more time. Cheers .
Excellent job of the pipework.
Tidy work 👌
Cheers
Great job 👏
Thank you
Cracking job, nice and neat. Never been keen on combi's though.
Nice one . Cheers
Damn 😍
Love it
Thank you
😍😍😍👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Was there a reason you didn’t chase in to the wall? The house has so much period beauty, seems a shame to put so much pipework on show. Very good job though mate
Originally it was all supposed to run under the floor but last minute change of plans meant we were asked to run it all surface.
Where do you get them metal brackets for supporting the pipes in between the joists?
Nice job mate.
Thanks mate. They are walravens . Williams plumbing merchants or most electrical merchants
Great video thanks, sorry if this is a stupid question, but why did you add the expansion vessel, the system didn't seem that large?
Most combi boilers contain a expansion vessel only designed for the thermal expansion within the boiler. Not the system it's connected too. Thanks 👍🏻
Thanks, The Navien Combi has a 12litre expansion vessel in it, surely that's not just for internal expansion? @@loving-plumbing
I normally fit grant but thinking I might give these a go, after doing there course. I'm sure you had reasons for putting it straight on, but could you have fitted it sideways, making it tighter to the building?
Also is it much louder being a blue flame boiler?
Cheers I like you videos, nice to see start to finish
Thanks for the feedback. Yea I probably should have put it sideways on. I just didn't like the way it looked aesthetically. The driveway will eventually be there. To be honest it is a bit louder than the yellow flame. I prefer them over the grant . Grants seem old hat in comparison but they are tried and tested.
why not just use 1 return ?
One common return can sometimes lead to heat spilling into the other zone when not required.
I cant ever imagine these Naviens lasting the test of time . They look terrible and I cant see any good reason why you would fit one .
Ohhh Harsh 😜. In my opinion most other oil brands are stuck in the past . Old hat 🤠
@@loving-plumbing They will
Be worse than firebirds people will rip them out left right and centre .
@@k20aa out of interest, what do you recommend?
@@loving-plumbing we still
Fit the grants to be honest . Try and avoid combis where possible and fit pressurised cylinders 👍
@@k20aa cool. Cheers
