I use a cream that contains retinol and I combine it with niacinamide with buffet or alpha arbutin with niacinamide or hyaluronic acid with niacinamide !! Excellent job Melissa bravo
I use cleanser (Sampar) then Glycolic Acid 7% as my toner after that Retinol 1%. I faced irritation at the first week but on following weeks my face doesn’t get irritation again. It’s effective and makes my skin glowing
Hey! :) Well, if that combination works for you, keep on using it. This is just a general guide to avoid irritation from happening, especially when being new to them. It also depends on how your skin responds to both products and how resistant or sensitive your skin may be.
Combine a retinoid with glycolic acid in the same routine when your skin can handle it. Retinoids work because the skin (partially) converts them through retinaldehyde to the active compound retinoic acid. This process is catalyzed by glycolic acid, meaning you get more active compound out of your applied retinoid when glycolic acid is present, without the side effects of increasing retinoid application. Plus you still get the usual glycolic acid benefits. Source: Links won't post. Search for the study: "Pharmacology of RALGA, a mixture of retinaldehyde and glycolic acid" (2005) by Tran et al.
These videos are incredibly helpful. I've been using the Ordinary products for years but want to introduce retinol now so this has just made it incredibly easy for me to do. Thank you
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet I will surely. I already noticed changes in just a night. Some of the dark acne scars dried out and peeled away. I am so grateful, thanks a lot. Will keep you posted in a week. :)
Hello Melissa! My 1 month update: The hyperpigmentation as a result of hormonal acne that I wanted to treat have faded away so well that they aren't visible under a tinted moisturizer. But I did realize how slow this process is but it definitely works. I did develop some new acne and then scars because of bad food choices such as sugary pastry and spicy food. But I plan to tackle them with the same method. Thanks again for this regimen 💫

Cause i think i need acne treatment with anti aging treatment. I need a perfect skin care routin for my acne, scars and anti aging . Please let me know is this rountin will work for my skin condition.
Not sure if it will work, but it may help. The retinol products from The Ordinary are not acne treatments. Suppose you are looking for acne treatments, I recommend using a Benzoyl Peroxide cream or Adapalene or Tretinoin, which you can get on prescription.
Thank you so much for this video, this was very helpful! Do you also know if you can combine the caffeine eye cream from the inkey list with the granactive retinoid 2% in squalane?
ou can use the combination, but it might be irritating. Therefore, I suggest using either one of them. Alternatively, you can add a hydrating serum before applying them to minimize potential sensitivities.

@@سرى-غ5ل That one should not be an issue. Still the 1% Retinol can be very intense. Do you have experience with retinol? If not I recommend watching the following video: How to use The Ordinary Retinol 1% in Squalane: ua-cam.com/video/FRio8uuyMCQ/v-deo.html
Hey, great video!! I've just started using the Retinol 0,2% in sequence. I've been using Niacinamide first, hyaluronic acid after and after that moisturizer. I'm not quite sure if that's right and I'm confused about how to include the retinol. Could u help me with that? :)
Generally, Hyaluronic Acid should go first, but it may not matter much since all are water-based. But according to research, it can increase hydration and therefore, it can help the products that follow penetrate better into the skin. So the order would be Hyaluronic Acid --> Niacinamide --> Retinol --> Moisturizer The Ordinary For Beginners: ua-cam.com/video/diaLVk_EsI4/v-deo.html
Hi Melissa, your videos enlighten me all about retinol 😁, Im starting the ordinary granactive retinoid next week and my current skincare products are only cleanser ( cetaphil ultra gentle), cerave moisturizing cream and sun screen (local brand, gonna change to Neutrogena ultra sheer soon). I do have niacinamide but doesn't use it anymore (it caused purging and acnes ). Is it okay if I only use 4 products (cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, granactive retinoid)? Thankyou so much:)
Hello Christina, Yes, of course, all the products can be used on their own. The routines I am sharing are just examples since most people want to include many products, or let's say want to have a "complete" routine. But you can use Granactive Retinoid on its own if you do not need to use a moisturizer or other serums. However, Sunscreen should not be an optional step, and you should always wear it during the daytime (when exposed to the sun) to protect your skin since some serums make the skin sensitive to the sun! :)

Hello Madiha. Well, the products aren't meant for Melasma. But apart from that, it should help you! There are many ways to use the products. Hey Melissa, Will I be able to use the Alpha Arbutin + Ascorbic Acid and the Pcynogel with the ordinary Retinol or Retinoid in my night time routine? Thank you 🤍
Hi there can you please answer my question. I have been using the ordinary peeling solution for sometime my skin is used to it and I have no problems with it. I want to start introducing the retinol into my skincare, can I still use the peeling solution however on alternating days. I say going to start by using the retional oncd a week type on a Monday pm and my normal peeling solution is done on a Wednesday and Saturday night
Hello Tiana, well, it depends on your personal tolerance for these products. But generally, that should not be an issue. The main problem I always had, in the beginning, was that I used the products too often and did not let my skin enough time in between. Especially if you are using potent/high strength of retinol/retinoids. So as long as you are giving it enough time to adjust to it, you should be fine :)

I have a serum that is 3 in 1 (niacinamide, alpha arbutin, and tranexamic acid). Can I use it together with granactive retinoid in squalane at the same time?
Hi Melissa, thank you for that video. I have just started using the retinol 0.2 in squalane. As you have stated, it is safe to use with niacinamide. How about with my Ascorbyl Glucoside (Vitamin C Derivative)? Id like to use the 3 of them together. Thanks a lot.
Hey :) Yes, you can use all 3 of them in the same routine. Or use Niacinamide and the Vitamin C derivative in the AM and your Retinol in the PM, that's fine too! :)

Hi Melissa, im new to the ordinary products. I ordered alpha arbutin and niacinamide. I also have retinol which is new for me. Should i use them as : alpha arbutin+ niacinamide+ retinol+ ceramide or is there any better order to use them? Thank you in advance.
Hello :) I recommend watching the following video first before starting with your retinol ;) The Ordinary Which Retinol To Start with And When To Use It With Examples: ua-cam.com/video/89fvxUPc8TA/v-deo.html But you can do the combination mentioned above; just make sure not to overdo it :)
Hello! Ive watched the whole video and i learned about the products i can use with with retinoid. But my question is, What 2 other products can you recomment and best paired with granactive retinoid? For NIGHT skincare routine. I have: Niacinamide Hyaluronic acid Alpha arbutin Lactic acid I want to target acne scarrings and dark spots ❤️ thank you
Hello again :) I think that it works best when used on its own or with your Niacinamide. Apply Niacinamide before Retinol. You can also use a Vitamin C product on days when not using the Granatcive Retinoid or in the morning. Best would be the Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate. Also, it isn't available, so I recommend Paula's Choice Vitamin C 15 Booster. Example. AM: Cleanser Vitamin C 15 Super Booster SPF PM1 (3-4times a week): Cleanser Niacinamide Granactive Retinoid PM2: (2-3 times a week) Cleanser Lactic Acid Hyaluronic Acid
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet oh thank you! I would also just like to confirm. So i cannot use Glycolic Acid, or Azelaic acid, or Lactic acid with granactive retinoid emulsion, right?
Hi Melissa, another great video, thank you!! I want to incorporate retinol but I already have this routine: AM: cleanser, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, moisturizer, sunscreen PM 1: hyaluronic acid, mandelic acid, moisturizer PM 2 (3 days a week): cleanser, facial scrub, hyaluronic acid, ascorbic acid 8%-alpha arbutin 2%, moisturizer. Where would the retinol fit in there? I've heard niacinamide does not go with ascorbic acid so that's why i don't use that in the morning. (Is this true?) What do you think? Thank you!!
Hey! :) What Retinol do you use, what's the strength of it? Also, what facial scrub do you use? Yes, the Ordinary recommend not to use their Niacinamide with Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) in the same routine. You could use Mandelic Acid in your AM routine since you follow with SPF and then use your Retinol instead of your Mandelic Acid in your PM routine.
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet I haven't bought the retinol yet, just exploring. I use ole henrikson walnut scrub. I know they say scrubs are not great but I love it so much lol. Thanks for the suggestion!!!

Hello :) My suggestion would be to start with the lowest strength possible. And alternate between the Lactic Acid and blemish cream combo in the evening. PM1: Cleanser Lactic Acid 5% Blemish Cream PM2: Cleanser The Ordinary Retinol 0,2% In Squalane Or the one that I am currently testing is Geek and Gorgeous Retinal 0,05%; it's an excellent formulation and works well for normal to oily skin. You can find the video here: How to Use Geek & Gorgeous A Game 0,05% Retinal Serum ua-cam.com/video/7f8WjDWdrhk/v-deo.html
Hello Charo :) It's not about the pH; it is more about that you are using the acid. The acid removes the dead skin cells, and therefore it increases the chances of irritation from the retinol.
Hi Melissa, that was an excellent video, I have ordered some ordinary products including the granactive and just by the way looked at my tinted moisturizer from Tarte and found it already has retinol palmitate and MAP! I use this in the morning and I know that retinol shouldn't be used in the morning. What are your views about using that with more retinol at night? ( I'm getting the granactive 5%)
Yes, most include this. However, the amount that they usually use is meagre, so that it may not be effective anymore. Also, Retinyl Palmitate is questionable. (incidecoder.com/ingredients/retinyl-palmitate) So there is no concern. And you can use retinol in the morning if you apply sunscreen afterwards. However, most people do not apply the sunscreen evenly, and therefore it's recommended to use it in the evening so that you do not come across any issues. But with your moisturizer, it does not matter, since I doubt it will do anything except for keeping the skin smooth and hydrated. Anyway, you can use the Granactive 5% along with it. 🙂❤️

Hey! :) Well, I do not have any favourites because what you choose from the Ordinary depends all on your skin concerns. This is individual for anyone! :) I have a few questions for you... So, you still get acne on your chin right? Have you ever used an acne treatment for this? Also, do you suffer only from ice pick scars or also from red/brown marks because of your acne? However, if sensitivity should occur, keep them separate and alternate between them in your evening routine. Please do not use Glycolic Acid or Granactive Retinoid after the Peeling Solution. Keep it simple after the strong mask. I wouldn't use EUK in your routine, unless you are leaving out another products because it can become a lot... Also, what Granactive Retinoid do you use? You can use Alpha Arbutin, Niacinamide and Azelaic Acid in the same routine like in your AM routine but only use your Retinol in the evening, you can use Alpha Arbutin and Niacinamide before applying your Retinol but do not use Azelaic Acid in the same routine! :)
@@viciousonev4697 Yes, Vitamin C, Azelaic Acid and Retinol have no conflicts with each other. However, depending on your skin tolerance and if you are being new to those products using them in separate routines is recommended to avoid irritation since it can be quite strong :)
Hi Melissa, I know you mentioned not to use acids with retinols. I am planning to start three times a week with 0.2% retinol in squalane as I'm new to retinol. But I currently use a mango overnight mask three times a week. This mask has stearic acid in it. If my skin is okay with retinol three times a week, I hope to gradually increase to daily if my skin can tolerate it. Is it ok to use stearic acid at the same time as retinol?
Hey :) Don't worry about stearic acid, this is an Emulsifiers and is different than AHA (Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid etc) and BHA (Salicylic Acid). So, you can keep on using your mask, even when using Retinol :)
It primarily depends on your skin sensitivity and tolerance and the retinol and AHA/BHA you are using. So if you tell me which products you have, I may be able to help you.
What do you mean by that? Why do you want to use products in the afternoon and evening? 🤔 Generally, you should use them in the morning and evening. But Retinol is ideally used in the evening since it is sensitive to sunlight. Also, when using it, always wear sunscreen during the day.
I’m a little bit confused. If i use retinol on my face (not around my eyes) at PM routine, why can’t I use retinol eye cream/serum just around my eyes at the same PM routine? They not layering. They basically sit next to each other😊 Or is there some other reason not to use them at the same routine?
No, that's fine. I just picked The Inkey List Retinol Eye Cream because that one can already cause sensitivity. Other eye cream formulations are much gentler therefore, it isn't an issue.
Hi, I wanted to ask: can I use hialuronic acid + granactive retinoid emulsion + 100% squalane + moisturiser as my pm routine? Or should I not include squalane? Thank you in advance ❤️

The following products from The Ordinary are derivatives: - Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% - Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F - Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10% But with Retinol, it does not matter; you can also add a pure form of Vitamin C. No, but I did get more pimples while using it. If you have acne-prone skin and you're using Retinol, it basically speeds up your cell turnover. Which means that if there are pimples under the skin (not yet visible), they will come to the skin surface quicker and this can be the case for serval weeks before it starts to calm down again. Also, this is what it mentions on the Ordinary website: "This product is not a treatment for acne. Acne-prone skin may experience a temporary increase in acne during the first few weeks of using any form of retinoid, including those used in this formulation."

Hey Melissa, thanks for this video. It is super helpful, the one of a kind video where you cover all of the information! Super grateful, thanks
I use cleanser (Sampar) then Glycolic Acid 7% as my toner after that Retinol 1%. I faced irritation at the first week but on following weeks my face doesn’t get irritation again. It’s effective and makes my skin glowing
Hey! :)
Well, if that combination works for you, keep on using it.

Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thank you, Bat Man, that's fascinating and helpful to know.

@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet I will surely. I already noticed changes in just a night. Some of the dark acne scars dried out and peeled away. I am so grateful, thanks a lot. Will keep you posted in a week. :)
Hello Melissa! My 1 month update:
The hyperpigmentation as a result of hormonal acne that I wanted to treat have faded away so well that they aren't visible under a tinted moisturizer. But I did realize how slow this process is but it definitely works. I did develop some new acne and then scars because of bad food choices such as sugary pastry and spicy food. But I plan to tackle them with the same method.
Thanks again for this regimen 💫

im a new fan of yours and i've been jotting down a lot of your advise. my question now is, can i replace the cleanser with a soap which contains sodium lactate, citric acid, kojic acid, and phoenoxythanol when doing anti aging routines?
Some products are sensitive to pH. So it depends on how acidic your soap is. Do you know the pH of it? And what products do you want to use?
Thank you so much for sharing your videos with the PowerPoint. It’s a big big help for me.
And I shared also to my Families and friends your UA-cam channel.

Hello 😃 I am glad that they are helpful, and thank you for sharing my channel 🥰
if i would like to use a more complex and enrichened moisturizer, i am worried about which one i should choose, about conflict with retinoid products. have you some suggestions to offer about diferent moisturizer to use with retinoids?
Add a few drops of your favorite plant oil into the moisturizer, and you have your "more complex" occlusive formulation-no need to buy anything else.
Excellent work..
Very meticulously done..👏👏

Hey beautyful , I have acne, hyperpigmentation and also some forehead Wrinkles so can i use Alpha Arbutin and Niacinamide before applying Retinol.

Hey, great video!!

Generally, Hyaluronic Acid should go first, but it may not matter much since all are water-based. But according to research, it can increase hydration and therefore, it can help the products that follow penetrate better into the skin.
So the order would be Hyaluronic Acid --> Niacinamide --> Retinol --> Moisturizer

Hello Christina,
Yes, of course, all the products can be used on their own. :)
Hey Melissa! Can you please answer this for me? Is this a feasible routine?
AM routine:
○ Neutrogena HydroBoost Cleanser
○ The Ordinary 5% Caffeine for Under eyes

○ The Ordinary Niacinamide Serum or Vitamin C suspensions ? (Looking to include in routine. Given i have areas of hyperpigmentation around lip area)

Great video! Thank you! I currently use hyaluronic acid and Vitamin c suspension. Can I include retinol in squalane? Thank you! 😃

Niacinamide
Hyaluronic acid
Alpha arbutin
Lactic acid

I think that it works best when used on its own or with your Niacinamide.

Vitamin C 15 Super Booster

PM 1: hyaluronic acid, mandelic acid, moisturizer
PM 2 (3 days a week): cleanser, facial scrub, hyaluronic acid, ascorbic acid 8%-alpha arbutin 2%, moisturizer.
Where would the retinol fit in there?
I've heard niacinamide does not go with ascorbic acid so that's why i don't use that in the morning. (Is this true?)
What do you think?
Thank you!!
Hey! :)
What Retinol do you use, what's the strength of it?
Also, what facial scrub do you use?
Yes, the Ordinary recommend not to use their Niacinamide with Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) in the same routine.
You could use Mandelic Acid in your AM routine since you follow with SPF and then use your Retinol instead of your Mandelic Acid in your PM routine.

Hey :)
Don't worry about stearic acid, this is an Emulsifiers and is different than AHA (Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid etc) and BHA (Salicylic Acid). So, you can keep on using your mask, even when using Retinol :)
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet Thank you so much 😊
I hv ascorbic acid 8%+ alpha arbutin 2%...can i use it together with retinol. 0.5% squalance
Generally, yes, they do not conflict. But the texture may feel very uncomfortable on the skin since both have an oily feeling.
hi melissa! do i need to wait for at least 20 mins after apply granactive retinoid emulsiom bfr apply moisturizer?
No, there is no need to do this. But with the Granactive Retinoid, a moisturizer may not be needed, especially when you have the one in Squalane. 🙂
Hey I wanted to ask if i can use hyaluronic acid and granactive retinoid at the same time
yes, use Hyaluronic Acid before your Granactive Retinoid.
Can I use niacinimide with buffet and alpha arbutin together
Yes, that's fine! :)
Can we use AhA BHA once a week while using retinol on alternative days?
It primarily depends on your skin sensitivity and tolerance and the retinol and AHA/BHA you are using. So if you tell me which products you have, I may be able to help you.
Hi can i use the retinol in the afternoon & glycolic acid in the evening? or it should be on the other day?
What do you mean by that? Why do you want to use products in the afternoon and evening? 🤔
Generally, you should use them in the morning and evening.
They basically sit next to each other😊
Or is there some other reason not to use them at the same routine?
No, that's fine.
I just picked The Inkey List Retinol Eye Cream because that one can already cause sensitivity. Other eye cream formulations are much gentler therefore, it isn't an issue.
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet got it! Thank you!
Hi, I wanted to ask: can I use hialuronic acid + granactive retinoid emulsion + 100% squalane + moisturiser as my pm routine? Or should I not include squalane? Thank you in advance ❤️
Hey :)
I think that adding the oil into this routine may feel a bit too much on the skin. However, try it! Use the routines with and without the oil and see what works and feels the best :)
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet thank you! I have dry skin so it might be good from time to time 🤔😊
Try it! :)
Hi, can I layer retinol squalane and rosehip seeds oil? Waiting for your answer. Thanks
Yes, but it may get a bit oily. There is one brand that has both in combination which works exceptionally well.
How to Use the Revolution 0,5% Retinol with Rose Hip Seed Oil:
ua-cam.com/video/mfugTM2PYEM/v-deo.html
Generally, you can use the retinol in squalane and layer a few drops of the rosehip seed oil on top, but I think it will be an issue when you do not have dry skin.
I am a dry sensitive acne prone skin
I’m using .02% of ordinary squalane retinol but I’m scared to put on top a rosehip oil, what do you think? It has no bad side effects?
@@riatolentino2839 No, it will not have any harmful side effects. And as you can see above it can be combined. But if you have dry skin, it should work. Just try it. They do not conflict.
Hello! Can I use Cerave’s SA Cream after The Ordinary retinol 0.2% in Squalane??
Well, I think that this shouldn't be an issue. :) But you need to test it and see if it works well for your skin 🙂
Hellooo.. can i mix buffet + retinol 0.5 in squalene after squalene cleanser ?
Yes, that's fine.

Now I am confused; it's about the Retinol in Squalane. So all of them 😃
Hi, can I mix these The Ordinary products in one application? Thanks.
Argireline 10% + Retinol 0.2 + Niacinamide 10%?
Yes, that's fine! However, I recommend doing it like this: Argireline Solution, Niacinamide and the Retinol.
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet Thank you so much for the promt response. Will do as recommended. 😊😊
Can I use this my pm routine
Hyaluronic acid
Alpha arbutin
Naincinmide
Argireline solution
Retinol
I think it is too much, and you do not need to use that many serums in one routine; I suggest splitting it into two routines. BUT it is not wrong, and you can do it ;)
And the "correct" order would be like this:
Argireline solution
Hyaluronic acid
Alpha arbutin
Niacinamide
Retinol

Can I use. Ordinary ascorbic acid8% +alpha arbytin 2% with ordinary 1% ratinol

I believe the combination is too potent; therefore, I would not recommend doing this. Use them on alternate days.
Thanks
Hi doll. Yah me again lol. Im sorry to bug you. I have the vit c suspension is that considered a pure form or derivative? Can it be used together in the pm? Im thinking of doing it alternate nights.
Haha, 🙂 you again 😉 Yes, Ascorbic Acid = Vitamin C = in it's pure form.
The following products from The Ordinary are derivatives:
- Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%
- Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F
- Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10%
But with Retinol, it does not matter; you can also add a pure form of Vitamin C. However, 23% or 30% may be a bit strong. It may be best not to use them in the same routine. But generally, Retinol and Vitamin C work well together. So yes maybe best to alternate! :)
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet awesome thank you. I go to the website you referred and i look up what plays well together of what conflicts. I was writing my routine (again lol) and sometimes i second guess myself on things. So, yes i will alternate days, to be on the safe side. Def. will do a patch test if i decided to combine the vit c and the retinoid emulsion. Thank you so very much😁❤
Can i i use it in this order?
Glycolic acid toner
Alpha arbutin
Niacinimide
Granactive retinoid in squaline 5%
Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate 20%
Generally yes. But I think that it is a bit too much. My advice would be to create 2 evening routines like this:
PM1 (2-3 times a week)
Cleanser
Glycolic Acid
Alpha Arbutin
Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate 20%
PM2: (Rest of the week)
Cleanser
Niacinamide
Granactive retinoid in Squalane 5%

Hey! is it possible that ordinary retinol in squalane can clog pores? i feel like it clogs my pores and then pimples never end
hmmm, did you have pimples/acne before?
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet yes that is the reason I started using it in the first place. But it’s been more than 30 days and I am still breaking out. I see small bumps at first and then it becomes a pimple later.
@@kawalkaur1092 It is not an acne treatment. Many people are promoting it that way, but in fact, it's not. The Ordinary even mentions it on their website. You need to use one of the retinoids such as Adapalene or Tretinoin, which you can get on prescription, but so you need to see a doctor for this. The only over the counter treatment that really works for me is Benzoyl Peroxide and a low dose of Retinol in combination. But the Benzoyl Peroxide is doing most of the job; the Retinol helps to speed it up.
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet thank you so much. Much love❤️
Hi! Can i mix the 0.2 retinol and the 1.0 retinol feom the ordinary to get an ≈0.6 ???
They do not add up. So means that the % remains the same even if you use multiple strengths of retinol. So if you mix them, it is still 1%.
Oh thats unfortunate. I've been using the 0.2 for almost 2 months every night except from Sunday that i use lactic acid to exfoliate and i was thinking to upgrade it , but i don't know if the transition from 0.2 to 1 willl hurt my face . What do you think?

Is it okay to use retinol after salicylic face wash? Thanks.
I wouldn't do it because it can become very dry. I use it at different times. For example, SA in the morning and retinol in the evening, or even on other days. You need to adjust it based on your skin's response.
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet thank you for your reply. I have been using Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion for almost three months now. I didn't experience any irritation in the first two months. @@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet i have been using the buffet since May and Squalane cleanser since last year. I only started using Neutrogena Oil-free acne cleanser when the acne and comedone came out.
Hi Melissa, did your skin purge when you started using the ordinary retinol
No, but I did get more pimples while using it.
If you have acne-prone skin and you're using Retinol, it basically speeds up your cell turnover. Which means that if there are pimples under the skin (not yet visible), they will come to the skin surface quicker and this can be the case for serval weeks before it starts to calm down again.
Also, this is what it mentions on the Ordinary website:
"This product is not a treatment for acne. Acne-prone skin may experience a temporary increase in acne during the first few weeks of using any form of retinoid, including those used in this formulation."
Melissa Van Dijk Aaw thanks for replying
