for real, face cam does not work for these types of videos. it’s much better when it’s the full video, then it cuts to a full shot of them and so on back and forth. face cam of three people on a couch looks bad.

Wow this just makes me realize how professional Corridor's reaction videos are. They actually go back through and replicate the way they made the shot just using the base movie instead of just showing an arrow where the effect would be.

They keep using rain as a visual representation of the matrix code throughout the trilogy. I'm pretty sure this is the same here. The intention was not to render the rain drops properly, but as a representation of the Matrix's code.

You know this isn't a vid on Corridor Crew's page when the audio is horrible. Wren and Clint's mics weren't picking anything up. All the sound is being picked up from Nico's mic. Wren and Clint sound tinny, like they're at the end of a tunnel but Nico's mic is nice and soft.
Don't know what you are on about mate 😂 it's just an insider video, all the sound equipment and mics are the same ones used by corridor...insider didn't gave them new equipment...you might wanna get that ear of yours checked 😂

Sounds like Niko and Clint’s mic’s were working but Wrens wasn’t. Maybe Clint’s wasn’t working either but seems like just an overall audio f up. We’re all guilty of it at some point.
Crazy thought here: when they were discussing the Neo vs. Smith fight, they talked in great detail about the water droplets that Neo punches through and that they wouldn't look like straight down lines but rather like water droplets. What if they did that intentionally to symbolically make it look like Neo was literally punching through the coding of the Matrix?
Not to mention this isn't supposed to be real life. It's weater being controlled with the little girl's powers. Smith absorbed her just like he did the Oracle who in turn granted him visions of the future.
They probably had insiders camera and sound guys in instead of the equipment we are used to hearing. You can hear the big studio space they are in, whereas their own sound guys got the mix perfected for that space over hundreds of hours of recording there.

I'm just here to be the 300th person to say that the rain in the Matrix slow-mo shot looked like that because it was meant to mirror the Matrix code falling down the the screen. It was to show that the Matrix itself was falling apart at a fundamental level.

Actually Keanu stopping the bullets wasn't in the script, he improvised it. The director liked it so much that it stayed in the movie

The water-drops were a stylistic choice. The Matrix is broken, the rain represents the broken bits of code falling down in the Matrix.
the whole matrix series is designed to have this clever excuse. like it doesn't matter, none of this is real. if it looks fake that's because it is.
