The icarsoft V3.0 is such a wonderful tool, it completely disabled my 2014 Jaguar XF.

@@philiqp3 I apologise if my comment sounds sarcastic, it was not my intention. When I wrote "the icarsoft V3.0 disabling my car" I was literally stating a fact. This device is supposed to register faults not cause them. I ended up returning the icarsoft and buying an ecu reader made by Autel.
@@jasonnicholas3722 no worries! I was a bit sceptical about the disabled part, that either you were not happy (which is more than normal in this case !) or if I was misunderstanding something 🙂
@@philiqp3I can understand your scepticism. I should have been more specific with my comment. When I wrote "it disabled my car", what I should have written was "my car would not start after using the icarsoft v3.0". Originally I only bought the device because I replaced the battery and an ecu reader is needed to register the new one for the start/stop feature. You can imagine my horror when it came time to start the car after using the icarsoft and nothing happened. Thankfully I know my way around an engine's and simply disconnecting and reconnecting the battery was enough to undo what the icarsoft did, but it could have turned the car into a money pit. There are so many different makes and models of ecu readers ranging in price and it is difficult to know whether one bought the correct device for your make and model of car. I just wanted a device which would allow me to save on garage bills. With my last car I payed £29.99 just to be told an £11 sensor was faulty and garage fees have increased since then. In my case, the icarsoft v3.0 did not fair well with the 64 plate Jag XF I own, but that's not to say it won't work on other models from the Jaguar/Land Rover range, but if you are considering buying one, buy it from a reputable supplier which offers a money back guarantee and if the device you buy does have adverse effects, try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery before you call the AA/Rac.

For the money, the autel ap200 is hard to beat. It outperforms the icarsoft.
I am not so sure about that. To start with, if you have ONE car fine, since the AP 200 is a dongle (no processor no display and no diagnostic software for any car is inclued) since it uses your Android mobile to process the data and your mobile to display it and you can download the diagnostic software for one car only which should be your car. For diagnosing additional cars it cost around 20 Dollars to download the diagnosyics for rach car and they all expire after one year. Not so go, is it.

Hi which one will reset fuel gauge on 2011 lr4 ? I replaced the sensor looks like it needs reset , when I disconnect the battery for an hour and connect it back it reads correct level but in 10 second goes back to empty

I just got the LR v3.0. For some reason it won't let me enable my air suspension?
I got the LR V3 but it won't talk to my 2.7 diesel at all. In fact it makes virtually every system start flagging faults on the dash so it's clearly doing something bad to the canbus. I'm sending it back.
@@gepwxaqdfsidsesg1548 same happened to me with my 06 rover. I've sent mine back. I picked up a snap on ethos edge, way happier. Found it on craigslist for 450 bucks.
Software version 31.00 has landed and it seems to have solved the problems. The LR V3.0 now connects to 16 different modules on my 2.7 XJ and they all seem to work. Maybe I will keep this after all.
