Hi, I have the "No Restart Incorrect DEF Fluid" issue; barely made it home, would not restart once car shut down fully. Do you think this unit is the way to go for getting out of this? I've since drained & flushed DEF, cleaned DEF injector/doser, just hoping for a fix before heading to LR dealer.
yes, I will do the job just right I had the same problem changed just the dpf injector by myself and then use the tool for dpf change.. and working flawless till then
I bought the 808BT, and my yearly subscription is 150. The only thing different i see is the pre - and post scan. However, I do prescan and post scans. I don't mind the 7 inch screen as it's perfect to place between steering wheel and dash. Bidirectional and 42 resets are plenty .
If you're satisfied with your purchase that is all that matters. Other people may have different wants or needs. Autel offers many different models of scan tool to satisfy just about every type of user. Thanks for the comment.
Thanks for mentioning that Autel scanner that I purchased... MaxiPRO MP900-TS I haven't received it yet, but I'll let you know how I like it. Thanks for your time in making this video and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your Family! It is my hope that y'all are staying free of Covid.
Great! Congrats on the new scan tool. My connection at Autel has told me that I would get a TS model when they're available but I haven't heard from them in a week or so... Happy Thanksgiving to you, too. My family is well, I hope yours is, also. Thanks for the comment.

you did the last scan under license plate instead of vin. I have the Otofix D1 Pro (also Autel) and scanning works fine there. maybe it will help keep the camera quieter
Actually, if you watch it again, I toggled through both options. I tried this many, MANY times off camera and it barely works on this particular device. In fact, I was lucky to capture what I did. There were countless network pop-ups.... when there is nothing wrong with the network on my end. I tried making that portion of the video for several days. The video should've been released last Sunday but the scan tool would not cooperate. lol. I also have the Otofix D1 Pro but I've never tried the plate/vin scan on that tool. In fact, I really can't see myself using that feature in a real world working environment..... especially when the "auto VIN" feature works 99% of the time, every time. In my opinion, the plate/vin scan software is just extra fluff. The scan tool is terrific when used as a scan tool. One of the best on the market.... the "extra" software is just a novelty, in my opinion. I'm not sure what you mean about keeping the camera "quieter" because there was very little background noise where I was filming. If you mean "more steady", well, that is the best I can do. If the feature doesn't work unless the conditions are absolutely perfect, then the feature is no good. It's unrealistic to expect working conditions to be absolutely perfect every time a scan tool is being used.... especially in the auto repair business. Don't get me wrong, I love the scant tool. Like I said, it's one of the best on the market.... but that particular feature is not perfected yet. They will get it fixed. I have been dealing with Autel tech support for the last week so I know they're working on this issue. Thanks for the comment.
Does this tool work for duramax vehicles I noticed you have an 06 gmc sierra. Most of my work is on diesels but started doing more gas vehicles. I need a tool other than the tech 2 to be more flexible with make models and engine types. Would this tool work for what I need.
I do not do much diesel work so I cannot verify for myself.... However, this tool IS indeed designed to work on light duty diesel trucks. (at least 3500/350 and smaller.... and sometimes up to 5500/550) Thanks.
hello, waiting on getting this tool and will definitely would appreciate a video on how to download the android print server for this tool to find my printer. Good video!
Hi, I can certainly make that video but I probably won't be before your new scan tool is delivered. It's possible that you won't have any trouble finding your printer with the included (pre-installed) print server. However, if you do, use the factory installed web browser (this is an Android tablet, after all) and search the internet for a print server that works with your printer, download that APK file, once downloaded click on that file and it should ask if you want this software installed, click yes.... and the print server software should be installed. Or, you can use a laptop/desktop computer to search for the print server and download it onto a USB thumb drive, then transfer the thumb drive to the Android tablet (scan tool) and install the print server from the USB thumb drive. You will probably have to use the ES File Explorer app to navigate the file structure on the scan tool. I hope this helps. A video from me on how to do this is at least a month or more away. I have several other videos already in the works that will come before a print server "How-To" video. Thanks for the comment.

The scan tool world is so competitive now that all brands have come a long way. Buy whatever tool that satisfies your wants and needs and I suspect you'll be very happy. Thanks for the comment.

The only thing not to buy a Autel is the ridiculous over priced you must pay voor Updates afther only one year free updates, for that price you can better buy a hole new one. $1100,00 or €2424,00 for one year to buy a 900 BT and afther that year $600,00 or €1322,00 for one year of updates
I agree.... However, that is kinda the point, and that is exactly how they (scan tool manufacturers) want you to think. Scan tool companies would rather sell new scan tools, instead of software updates.

The people that I deal with at these companies are sales people, they don't have authority to make decisions about their products. I have asked them to pass along my comments and suggestions to the people in charge. It hasn't helped yet...
