- In this video I change over my clothing closet from summer to winter and declutter items from both seasonal capsules. I discuss pieces that need replaces in my wardrobe and try on a few items. I also discuss my future plans for clothing and shoe purchases. I hope you enjoy it!

I just googled them and apparently there is a place called Oshkosh in Wisconsin where the company was started 😀 I'm pleased you liked the neutral colours. It was a relief to settle on a colour palette to guide my future purchases. But its also good to experiment now and then. Have fun! 😍

I say keep the beanie. It may not be your favourite colour compared to the blue, but I think it looks lovely on you.

Your wardrobe changeover and declutter has been very interesting to watch. You have such a beautiful wardrobe and such great style. I love your colour palette and think that the tan beanie really suits you with your brown eyes. You should keep it and repair the matching scarf. I am a blue-eyed blonde and my favourite colours are blues, greys and beige. I used to wear a lot of black but it is too harsh these days. Melbourne's changeable weather makes it hard to change wardrobe all at once. My goal is to have a wardrobe small enough that I can keep everything in the one small wardrobe without the need for extra storage or to change over seasonally, although reviewing at the start and end of a season is a great idea.

Have you heard of “visible mending” for holey woollens? It’s a true art-form. Your cashmere might be salvageable…

Sadly, camphor is the only thing that will keep moths out of your clothes. And even then, you'll need to keep them somewhere well sealed. I also use cedar clothes hangers for all my clothes now.
Frequent vacuuming also helps because moths are attracted to dust. But keep your nice lavender - I keep lavender soap everywhere amongst my clothes.
Yes I'll have to turn to camphor if the feeding fest continues. But I'm hoping I've left the moths behind at my old place! Cedar hangers are a great idea. Do they take up much space? Ooh, I forgot vacuum out the storage sleeves before packing away the summer things to get rid of any of the eggs. Will put that on the to do list
The cedar hangers are like all wooden hangers in terms of width. But I got them for peace of mind.
@mylittlesuitcase175 I wish I had the space for the wooden ones. Maybe if I ever reduce to a more minimal wardrobe 😀
Beanie in the taupe probably has a place in your colors.
