Wow, Lilibet, I love your storage solution. It integrates so well in your apartment. I have to admit that I was sceptical at first when I saw that it would be white, but it makes perfect sense when you see it in context of the kitchen and entryway. It is amazing how much you have been able to store in such a small space, and not just store but have it easily accessible, too. I am learning so much from your ideas as one of my concerns about downsizing is that many apartments that I see in Melbourne do not have great storage or practical floor plans.
I was worried white might be too plain or stark and did consider other less simple options. But this seemed like the best solution in the end. I agree re floorplan of Melbourne apartments. I ended up with a basic rectangle shape which gave me flexibility and could also fit my piano. But I looked at quite a few small, dark and pokey ones before I found it. I hope you find the perfect one to suit your needs! 😍
The way it matches so well with the kitchen cabinets is very pleasing. It creates a great flow between the two spaces, and it looks great!
