I am so very sorry and sad to learn of Milly's passing. It is always sad to lose a pet. They are family. We have a 14 year old miniature schnauzer that has health issues. I absolutely dread the day that we may have to put her to sleep. She's my little companion and my shadow.
Thanks Angelica. It's so hard when we see them start to struggle. I often reminded myself to stay in the moment and enjoy the time we had together, which has really comforted me since she passed. ❤️

@@teawithlilibet I think it's partly because my beautiful doggy Maisy is getting old and, having had so many pets in the past (cats, dogs and guinea pigs), I know that her health will deteriorate as she ages further. I really believe Milly was so fortunate to have had you as her mumma. So many pets are neglected, but you loved her with all your heart and always looked after her so tenderly 🩷😘🩷

Hi Lilibet, I've been thinking about you this week and wondering how you were going. You were so brave after losing Milly and it is natural that situations will remind you of your loss and that you will feel sad and teary. I remember feeling that way when I went into our laundry where our Millie at her meals and when I sat on our couch at night and no longer had a warm purring Millie there on my lap. It is hard so be kind to yourself. I love your new chairs, they are a very attractive shape and look comfortable. Thanks for the tip about the homewares shop in Collingwood. I can't wait to check it out as I love items made from natural materials and in neutral colours. BTW, we are in the process of putting our home up for sale and downsize to an inner city apartment. I hope you have a lovely week and enjoy the lovely autumn sunshine while it lasts.

I miss the purring too ❤️ Yes, do visit Hub when you get a chance, and I hope all of your preparations for the sale and downsizing continue to go smoothly 😍
So hard to lose a loved member of the family. We lost both of our little dogs to a neighbor dog who escaped her yard and mauled our babies. So sad. We have decided not to get any more pets as we are mid 70s and not as mobile.
