    I can't even really call myself a beginning knitter, having just learned the very minimal basics in 4th grade and that being AGES ago, but I picked up some needles a couple of years ago just to see if it's like riding a bike, lol. I had always wanted to learn to crochet and I did that a few years ago and that's what I've been doing, but I have a friend who is about to have their first baby and I love the look of knitted hats with colorwork, so I think I'm going to give it a go and love that you are sharing your tips and experience! I also love your enthusiasm for your craft and your darling bunnies! Have you ever thought about holding a channel contest where the winner can win a customized little rabbit? Just a fun idea!

    Hi from Australia! I just love your videos and learn something new from each one. I appreciated your comparison of the Little Cotton Rabbits Bunny patterns. I’m a newbie to crochet and Amigurumi and had no intentions of doing knitted Amigurumi, but after watching many of videos I’m so eager to try a Little Cotton Rabbits pattern. I was going to buy the 9” size, but now will give the 7’’ size instead, I truly appreciate all your tips and tricks and also have taken the plunge and invested in some furls hooks too. 😊❤️🧶🐨🦘

    I have a quick question, if I’m doing a k6, M1 on my colorwork pattern - is it more appropriate to put the M1 symbol on the 6th column or the 7th? Thank you!

    • @EliseRoseCrochet
      @EliseRoseCrochet  2 роки тому

      Good question. I think it would be on the 6th column but here's a good article about it: sheepamongwolves.net/2018/11/how-to-read-charts-its-easier-than-you-think/

    How do you know what size to put into your colour chart when designing eg how many squares to block?

    • @EliseRoseCrochet
      @EliseRoseCrochet  2 роки тому

      You have the option to choose how many squares you put in your chart. Also you count how many stitches are in your repeat and how many stitches are in your total area to work the colorwork in. Hope that makes sense. 🧶

    Hi! I’m from NC too!! I am Interested in trying this. I would like to make a Fair isle sweater for a doll similar in size. Is it possible to convert large charts to smaller size? I don’t really know where to start. 😢

    • @EliseRoseCrochet
      @EliseRoseCrochet  4 роки тому +1

      So sorry it took me so long to respond to you! The way I would do it would be to basically redesign the chart using the resource Chart Minder. You can find all the links in the video description. I hope that helps!

    Great video. But, you don’t explain how you choose colour charts based on the number of stitches you have so that your repeat works out evenly. I can’t find information for that anywhere.

    • @EliseRoseCrochet
      @EliseRoseCrochet  4 роки тому

      Hello! I hope I'm understanding your question, but you just need to determine how many total stitches your colorwork will be worked over. The repeat will need to be a multiple of that total. For example if you're working over 50 total stitches, you can have a repeat that is any number that divides evenly into 50. So the numbers 2, 5, 10, & 25 would work. I hope that answers your question! 💓
