I'm watching this in April 2024. Wow, what a difference 4 years makes. It's actually fun for me to look back on the lockdown, because we (well most of us) survive it and life is (mostly) back to normal. I discovered your videos about 8 months ago, just when you changed the name of the channel and have had so much fun catching up with all your projects. Thanks for your info and inspiration.
love you! You are not rambling...you are a ray of sunshine! I have several works in progress. Not any Little Cotton Rabbits but those are on my bucket list!
I am enjoying all the knitting videos with Little Cotton Rabbits and Mary Jane's Tearoom while I knit 3 of the rabbits in different sizes by using different needles. I also bought the book with tons of animals you recommended. Now it's all I want to knit. I have to have a shelf like yours and sit them all up there. I am going to make a Mama Rabbit and a baby or two and put them in a wicker stroller I have with a little quilt too. You showed me a whole new world of fun. Thank you Elise :) !!
Hi Elise.. I've been crocheting since 2017 and I'm obsessed with amigurumi. In 2020 I started trying knitting, until now I have knitted a lot of beanies and sweaters. but because of you, I want to try knitting toys... thank you for sharing... I can't wait to knit my first toy... greetings from Indonesia 🥰
I’m from Los Angeles but moving to Spain 🇪🇸 where my mom and daughter live. I can’t tell you how excited I am to learn the art of making beautiful 😻 🧸 knitted animals and 🧶 crochet ones as well!!!!! I wish you offered workshops where we could learn how to make those precious bunnies. I would come to that event!!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us!!!!! It’s because of the video content you provide us with that I am about to embark on such an amazing path! You rock, Elysee!!!!!!!😻
So exciting!!! Spain is a place I've always wanted to visit!!! Such a beautiful country!! I'm also so excited for you to learn how to knit these gorgeous little friends! It's such a joy!! 🧶🧶🧶
Great video Elise! Loved crocheting with you this morning, listening to your quarentine woes and knitting and crochet excitement. I love Fern and totally understand why you would keep her all for yourself. Wishing you a blessed day!
I enjoyed watching your video and wanted to share with you that I am a kindred spirit here in North Carolina. I also am in love with the Little Cotton Rabbits patterns and just about to finish my 2nd attempt. She soon will be wearing one of the textured dress pattern dresses. My 4 month old rescue calico kitten 🐈 loves to wrestle with my knitting and I have finally learned that the easiest thing to do is to put it aside and give her snuggle time in order to be able to get my knitting done. She likes to win! I look forward to your future videos ☺️
Awww! That's amazing!! So glad to connect with other North Carolinians!! And your kitten sounds adorable!! I love calicos! Olive is now a year and a half old and not terribly interested in my knitting anymore! Thanks for your kind words!! 💛
feels like you are in my kitchen having a visit while I make dinner. So inspired right now. I have 2 little grandaughters and have just started making toys over this past year. My kids (12) all wish I knew how to make them when they were little. I told them they can all play with the ones I make for their babies lol
I just found you this weekend and I am from Ontario Canada, we are in our second lock down. I used to knit but would freak out if I dropped a stitch, so I crochet. I crochet daily between all the other stuff and just closed my Etsy shop. I will probably open again when we figure out life after this pandemic. I always thought I would NEVER do amigurumi but on Friday I saw a pattern on Pinterest and had to have it! Oh no, so I am getting caught up on your videos and Yarn Society while I wait for my yarn to come in. I am grateful for channels like yours so I can relate to common interests family, pets and all things yarn! Prayers for Jackson. 🧶
You've been bitten by the amigurumi bug!! 🐞 Katie from the Yarn Society is amazing! Such adorable patterns!! And thank you so much for your kind thoughts about our son. ❤️❤️❤️
Hi from Norfolk in the UK! ❤️ Very strange, sad and scary times were all in right now. Crafting helps to keep me sane. I've made the little cotton rabbits girl fox and want to make a deer next. I don't love the sewing together part but hope it will get easier with practice. Stay safe and thank you for your videos I really enjoy them xxx
Thank you so very much! The sewing up parts are my least favorite part too. Sometimes I knit the whole project and then sew them all together at once. And yes, crafting helps so much!
I agree with the tedium of sewing up when you first start making them and I found that my seams didn’t come out looking tidy like the photos but the more I made the better they got. I think that I need to follow the technique of slipping the first stitch on every knit row but I don’t know if that means I add a stitch.
Hello from Nottingham, UK! It was so lovely to discover your channel and spend time with you today. I’m in the midst of knitting my very first Little Cotton Rabbit! 😊🐰❤️ Gill x
That is awesome!! Thank you so much for spending some time with me today! I just love those patterns sooo much! I took two trips to the UK when I was a teenager and would love to go back once this mess is over! 😘😘😘
Hello Elise, This is so very fun to put a face to your name! During this lockdown I have taught myself to crochet, I knit all the time every day. I am making a granny stripe blanket from 4 ply leftovers from socks and shawls mostly. I love the little critters! They are darling!
Hey Sally! So you got my letter?? Your blanket sounds amazing! I love a granny s stripe but have never made one myself. I hope you are doing well!! And thank you so much for stopping by!

Good afternoon Elise! I am sure that my boy Zack would love it! With love from North Yorkshire, England! 🤗
You just made my day!!! Thank you so very much!! You are going to love the Little Cotton Rabbits patterns. They are so well written and explain everything so well! And Olive loves her stroller.
