I doubt it could fit rods that long. Smaller bore too maybe, idk, i don't have one. Somebody built a Ford GT40 replica for 25k. But it's all handmade, that's the problem. The biggest cost is time. The thing with these old supercars is that they look like they've been built in a garage. That's why it's so easy to replicate them.
@capricapri9756 Yep. It is. And it's funny because it's so damn easy to build. Especially now with 3D printing available. You can firstly look at the parts catalogue because every single part is indexed and it shows how it's assembled. And from there you could either use a ripped model from Forza to build off of it. Or go to a car show, that has an F40, with a portable 3D Scanner and get a 1:1 accurate model. Maybe even ask the owner if they can take off the clamshell. You could 3D print the shell offset inwards with the thickness of the fiberglass and that's about it. Remove the 3D print and you're left with a clean 1:1 shell of a F40.

Likely not intended it's a Belgian plate he speaks french or dutch. He just needed a zero to make, sort of, "Ferrari F40"
@mathdessin6755 yeah, thats why it's great
Its rare to see someone who owns one of these and drive it as it was intended to be driven 👏👍 god bless you
Best yt video ive ever seen. Absolute work of art of a car.
now this is how cars are supposed to be driven
The popping on deceleration is the rawest I’ve ever heard. I may or may not have creamed my pants.
This is the type of content i want to see on youtube 😎 dream car for sure
Yessss, now I’m making the same vids with my GTR 😅
I went for a ride in an F40 driven by the owner who could afford to drive it hard like it should be. As seen here. He punished his red toy. I'm shaking watching this. The beautiful unapologetic raw harmony demands the entire faculties of your brain. Nothing short of noticing a Great White Shark is stalking you while surfing. The F40 hates to be driven. It loves to be used hard and put away crackling. Operating at 9/10ths is it's sweet spot. Pure analog equivent to the SR71. Thank you Sir for the exhilaration of such an echelon.
I rode in a Lotus Elise one lap around a track. It was awesome. I need to find an F40 owner and beg for a ride. I’ll camp on his sidewalk and hold a sign that reads _”Will work for an F40 ride.”_
Intentionally or not, you typed this comment like you were writing an insert from an erotic novel. That's a dumb bit joke imo. Even worse is if it's not a joke and this is how you actually talk about this, which would make you look like a total weirdo btw. Either way, it's weird to talk like this, my guy. Js
I agree with everything, but one thing. The F40 hates to be driven gentle. It wants you to punish it and abuse it, treating it like the proper racecar/supercar that it is.
When it opens up... Its complete savagery with chaos. Beautiful!!
3:50 is what an electric/hybrid car will never do. A lightweight chassis with an incredible engine. Nothing can replicate that.
Do you mean the stupid noise for 0 reasons to terorrise as many people as possible?
@@002oyes, exactly that do we mean. Tons of fun
@@002okys
@@002oPrecisely, though to fellow enthusiasts like myself this noise is a wonderful melody. There's no soul in electric cars. There's no joy in hearing them launch. It's misery and silence. Sure you can implement modifications to make it sound like engine noises, but those are terrible imitations and crude mockery of the real deal. Those knockoffs can't produce music nearly as sweet as what this F40 or any ICE car can.
@@002oyou dont get it.
