I think the problem with warlock exotics is less often that the exotics themselves are weak, but a number of them just don't have great synergies with the subclasses or the subclasses themselves don't play super well with them to the point that certain other exotics are just better in every scenario
Or other classes do the same thing but just better and more, like void titan with or without HoIL
@@gamingoverlord8854 yes to main thread and yes to this^^^... our exotics almost all lean into the ability usage and them crippling abilities time and time again and this latest update nuking all the cooldowns really shot them in the foot. Warlock is by far and EXTREMELY ability focused class so that cooldown nerf hit HARD... buildcrafting can only do so much to recover from it and honestly that's all we do now is 'recover' from the nerf with a build. which if we're being real here fine nerf al the ability use, but give us back stacking weapon buffs or at least return the weapon buffs to being more useful again and we'll shoot shit all damn day it'll be "60% gunplay" again real damn quick
Many also don’t feel up to date with the current state of the game (i.e. getaway artist sucks now, geomag isn’t super useful considering well is so much better than chaos reach for pve). Imo way too many also make small changes to how your class ability works. There’s nothing really unique or interesting about those exotics.
I miss Geomags, not for the exotic perk exclusively, I just love how they look with my outfit. After the nerf I used to keep them in my inventory just to swap to them for the screenshots with my friends and then swap back to an useful exotic. lol

Sun bracers are definitely S, those lava nades are absolutely ridiculous in any mode. I have a pyromancer build I use for PVE and it’s absolutely devastating and fun to use
sunbracers are pretty much the best exotic in the game if used right
i totally agree, but the build around it is hit or miss. it's not a easy spam build and requires at least adds to be present or it just fizzles out. I'd like to see the sunbraces get some kind of other alt way to proc for when adds aren't as prevalent. if you have some individual who isn't on board with your build's nuances... it can cripple you dps. Problem is anything like "scorch damage on boss procs it" feels like starfire protocol 2.0 then.

@@richphoenixpa yeah, that’s true, I have it proc with melee kills using the snap, and I get my grenade instantly, it it does require adds to activate the 5x spam grenade; on the plus side, you get your super back really fast.
I had my game crash on PS5 a couple times cause I had a bunch of grenades, two Walls of Radiance going and tons of adds burning on one of the events on Neptune 😂😂
Argument for Nezarec's Sin being in S-tier - it works with every subclass.
Naturally it works best with void because you can proc the perk on your abilities as well, but getting insane ability regen on any subclass is absolutely fantastic. I've run Bleakwatcher builds that can consistently drop 2 turrets at a time without a demo weapon, Suspend builds with 100% uptime on Weaver's Trance without any extra grenade regen nor Necrotic/Osteo, and Healing grenade builds where I can have roughly 75% uptime on restoration x2 without needing Empyrean. All it requires is a decent void weapon that you can lean into as your primary add clear tool.
Naturally it won't work as great if you're splitting your kills between your non-void abilities and your void weapons; it doesn't function anywhere near as well if I'm trying to spam offensive grenades or melees. But if you're running a more utility-based build like what I've mentioned, it's absolutely incredible, and I *highly* recommend giving it a try.
You neglected to add one more important detail. Its fashion is pretty damn good. I'm personally a fan of its ornament paired with the Annealed Sharper robes.
Yep, same with Eye's and Karnsteins, even though I use the latter for PvP exclusively, there's so much build diversity and potential
Nez for sure S tier
I use only void weapons most of the time. But this and controvers do almost the same thing. Literally vortex nades with double ashes to assets. u get your grenade from damaging the bosses. not just needing kills. and u get stupid super energy off add kills. paired with devour or any weapon with demolitionist. you basically have unlimited grenades. which means stupid high super cool down.
but nez shines with all void setup. My only issue is during boss fights its almost doing nothing for you. as where controverse does
Phoenix protocoll also works on all subclasses, but you need a second warlock that runs Well of radiance
Rain of Fire with Vex has been really good to me in Iron Banner and even Nightfalls recently.
Ironically it’s also very good with jotunn in low end pve content 🤣🤣

@@RuseGuise you can get Forsaken, Shadowkeep and Beyond Light in the Legacy Bundle. I suggest buying that. If you buy them separately you'll be missing out. Since some Nightfalls need specific DLCs to be playable. 30th anniversary is also great but not needed since all you get is a dungeon. I suggest leaving that for another time. Get the Legacy Bundle.
@@RuseGuise forsaken has better exotics but no campaign (I would choose this), Forsaken campaign is garbage and boring, 30th anniv has gallajorn and the legendary sword that makes you fly.

@@aurockson2696 You’re also forgetting that rain of fire is used in pve for damage phases to reload all your weapons on icarus dash. There is a build I use with Vex in pve that gives x2 resto and a really big damage buff stacking with Vex’s damage buff.
Starfire is F -tier at best. It needs some massive buffs.

@@ryansmyth1884 as to why it deserves more recognition? cross covered it mostly, but you get a 30% debuff on command which is the highest in the game. think of it as getting to use a tether on a room of adds whenever you want just for performing a finisher or getting a melee kill. plus it supresses, so the enemies aren't even shooting back. sure it's overkill in low-end content where everything just dies, but you take it into a master raid or GMs and you'll really see the benefits. when set up correctly on void for example, say you're in a GM and you finish a champion. you get an overshield while doing a finisher (proximity ward class item mod), champ dies and you go invis, and now everything in the room is volatile and taking 30% more damage while not shooting back for like 20s, which you can refresh by simply finishing another enemy. plus you can give it some crazy interactions on solar/arc because of the way scorch/jolt can work with the helmet. one properly placed incinerator snap can chain ignitions, with each igniton sending out that weaking pulse. I've been rockin it forever and while i love seeing it getting noticed, I just hope bungie doesn't decide it's too strong when properly used and nerf it. though given things like starfire exist, i think it's chillin. for added bonus, the drip is insane and Felwinter was a fkn badass. hope this helps
Felwinters on Void or Strand and Sunbracers are my most used exotics. Both have been exceeding expectations and helped me clear gilded conquers already.

Boots of the assembler is super underrated. Solid low A-high B exotic
Longer rifts. Highly accurate seekers that heal (who uses empowering?)
The lumina interaction is just a bonus.
It’s especially great for when you need to do all strand challenges and have no well for those challenges.
Sunbracers are also S. Once starfire gets nerfed and people realize how broken they are it might become the new meta. They already solo riven.
There's very good reason to use empowering with the boots. With it, you turn your seekers into giving everyone 35% damage buff. You don't need the extra healing since the seekers already do that and is good enough.
Lumina hard carries the exotic so much that you are using the exotic wrong without it equipped. Without lumina you just heal at a distance with a rift in pve and pvp where you could have just rifted someone and they would get the same benefits. Is it nice to rift and still provide support to those without cover or those with it in line of sight yeah but for the most part people flock to the rift when it is dropped. With lumina you can get a full raid team the highest dps boost without killing anything with lumina. Lumina is a very clutch exotic and most strats now like legendries more than exotics for dps. You probably aren't bringing this into nightfalls let alone gm content though because you're throwing too much damage for a boost that you don't always need.
Its a shame that the seekers became stupid after solar 3.0. I wish I could use my old healing build :(

I don’t know if you know this (may have changed since had last done this a year ago), but Phoenix Protocol will allow you to gain super energy in each other’s Well of Radiance. My brother and I basically would leapfrog our Well or Radiance’s through nightfalls. I call it the Dual Death Angel spec.
When I did tier lists with my friend, I just did a setup with custom row count and I affixed a set number of entries to each tier: 3-4-5-6-6-5-4-3 is one I've used for I think my heavy list. But this is an example of the format.
It allows for some more precise evaluation of the entries, and it fixes the imbalance situation we saw with this list. It's pretty nice. And you can just custom-name the rows when you're done. It's not about what's in F and what's in S for my lists; it's just about the order and the comparisons between the entries. Like the bottom row for my warlock list was called "meh"

When I’ve done evaluations, my lowest tier is usually “pain”.
Pain, because it either pains me because the potential is so close to being something I wanna use and have fun with, but it isn’t worth it, or so bad that it hurts me to use it over something else.
For exotic weapons, Graviton Lance is my big Pain gun. I know it’s good and useful and a stat monster, but man, my brain can’t help but think of it as a scout rifle with input lag. My brain just deletes the first bullet and it feels so painful to use. I wish they’d return it to its release state where it was the 3 burst with the super sexy firing noise.
@@elizabethhicks4181 sounds like a somewhat non-objective methodology lol. But that's okay; if you've done these enough, you know that bias always finds its way into the list no matter how good your intentions are.
I see what you're saying about Graviton but I personally can't relate lol because I actually never used it in the original 3-burst form. So instead of it being a departure from its original design, it's just a departure of the norm for me, and for that reason I like it.
I have high hopes for chromatic fire if the changes i saw come true its gonna be so good pve
I have only played Warlock and will probably stay that way for quite a while. Not for any meta reason but just when I started D2 Space Wizard sounded really cool and I'll stick with it until I master it. However, I have both heard of and seen the love Warlock's gotten over the other classes and hope they get the same soon.
As a Titan main, my go-to exotics for Warlock are Mantle of Battle Harmony, Sunbracers, and Verity's Brow. Been pairing Mantle with Ager's Scepter since its release and man that is a nasty ad-clear, DPS, and PVP combo. I've been using Sunbracers since Solar 3.0 since it looked better for a Mustang build and I noticed how good at DPS it was back then. Verity's Brow is a new one for me, but I love the infinite healing nade; it keeps me running with Lament easier
Ive been convincing more and more people to run phoenix over star in end game for the infina-wells. With the orb generation we put out now its crazy how fast it resets.
We ran 2 Phoenix Warlocks and 1 Hunter with Orpheus Rigg in GMs this week. Yh its stupid good
I run 1 starfire (me) and get the easiest clears ever infinite wells get my well befor it even runs out. Just use 2 dps supers all hmm 15min. Glass way 13min. Mars one 20 min with 2 noobs..
If starfarie gets nerfed nobody is getting Phoenix on they are getting sunbracers on, infinite restoration and grenades insanity.
In certein content its not that easy to proc reliably, Phoenix is easier and more reliable. (Doesnt mean sunbracers arent good but wouldnt use them in GM content)
@@Ass4ssin007 I see what your saying but even in GM using celestial fire it’s possible to get sun bracers going however I do understand it would take a lot more effort than simply getting half of your well back for free.
Felwinter's is fantastic. I was pairing it with strand and the fragment that makes threadlings on a finisher. Go try it people
On void with both finisher aspects. Makes for a "we have gyrfalcon's at home" build for my warlock to run with collective obligation
As a warlock main I might not agree with the exact placement of certain exotics but the letter grades roughly match within 1 step for any wrong choice. It is no where near the perfect tier list but it is the rough guesstimate of a titan in a dress.
If you want to have some fun, go into legend avalon, get someone else to do the symbols and do add clear with a sunbracers build

The S tier literally stands for Sunbracers, best ad clear, insane boss damage, very creative, huge survivability, I've been rocking these bad boys since Curse of Osiris and I'm never taking them off

I get what Cross means by Sunbracers 1-phasing Riven being a bug, but Riven is just a weird case in general.
Outside of her nothing needs to be "fixed" about them. Sunbracers are just absolutely stellar & not nestly as hard to upkeep as people always claim in endgame.
Sunbracers has been on my Solar builds since Solar 3.0 dropped. I _love_ lighting the whole room on fire, before I even knew the grenades were better on walls/ceilings. Plus, Starfire is seeing such strong use right now it's almost guaranteed to get a nerf soon.
I almost agree with your list. Only thing I do not agree with is the battle harmony catagory. Battle harmony is great with aegis scepter. It actually takes the place of the super and since it is great for controlling ads it’s like having the chaos reach at its prime just from a different approach. Building it with another warlock that runs well and has the new artifact mod that buffs the damage of other team members with opposite supers is a great build. Even without that it’s still a great option on its own. Your able to stop the use of your trace rifle just the same as you can with chaos reach and you eat less of your super using aegis than you did with chaos. The other piece I like about the build is if you don’t pop your super you can just use your battle harmony as a damage buff which also increase your aegis strength. I also thought trace rifles this season got a buff. The new warlock strand exotic leg armor is actually able to eat a titans bubble if popped inside I believe unless my game was buggy in trials this last time I ran trials. The warlock void has changed alot and since feed the void doesn’t work the same anymore I use the void leg exotic that gives you the feed the void perk and sit in the empowering rift to keep it active. The thing is the new exotic actually increases warlocks effectiveness with feed the void since i never used my healing or empowering rift before the void updates. I’m not quite sure if you knew this but since warlocks always have been the slowest on reloading the ability to use the leg armor to dodge in the air allowing you to refund your ammo is pretty viable. Also increases fusion/ linear rifle damage meaning certain guns that were o p before are just as o p now I believe. Could you give me a shout out if you like my thoughts if not I get it lol. @aztecross
For Arc Warlock the class hasn't fallen off the rest of the class is just so strong they have to keep the super weak
No it's not. It feels really good in the lowest tier of content because it can easily proc things but in medium and high level content is drops off hard and as soon as you can't keep chaining things, the class is just useless.

@Shafer Hill Fallen sunstar makes it better but so do the exotics for the other subclasses and those are all more viable in endgame because they don't require chaining kills off low damage abilities (in endgame).
Lmao, what game are you playing. All Arc can do is ad clear. Issue is that Solar and Void can do ad clear just as well while having access to way better supers, far better survivability (Devour, Restoration) and additional utility in the form of buffs and debuffs. Arc doesn't even come anywhere close to the power of Solar and Void.

Absolutely, nades generate so many ionic traces with the right perks. It makes no sense to run getaway artist if you have 100% rift uptime.
And here we have one of the reasons warlocks are so strong RN. They just have SO. MANY. incredible exotics that also work well with meta builds. I feel like exotics matter more than the base class these days, since they have such powerful effects, and whilst hunters have Gyrfalcon's and Titan's briefly had Synthoceps glaive builds, warlocks just have so many AMAZING builds with all the A and S tier choices.
Their exotics are so strong because you can actually build into most of them. Hunter exotics and especially titan exotics are way harder to build into. Hopefully with the exotic overhauls they help add more build synergy to those exotics.
Karnstien with grapple melee is hilarious in pvp, if you don’t get the kill on the actual grapple punch a quick follow up finishes it off, then you got three threadings and full health
Got a friend who mains Felwinters Helm and MAN does that thing SLAP. It’s crazy, it’s super build craftable, it’s usable across every subclass, and it is usable everywhere all the time. Especially if you are capable of getting used to finishing combatants.
As a hunter main with no warlock character I can say this is relatable

I recently set up a Prometheus Spur build and it’s really fun, like a mini well, I just wish I could buff it with The Stag, then it would be seriously legit

Warlock main since Taken King here. You can move, Contra Holds, Boots of Assembler, Felwinters, Pheonix Proto, and Karnsteins A or below. S tier exotics are Ophidians, Necrotics, Osmiomancy, Starfire, Sun Bracers, Fallen Sunstar, and Nezarecs Sin.
Stag and Aeon's in the same tier as winter's guile is crazy

Sunbracers are soooo good in PVP because your nades last a very long time and more than likely the opposing team will think somebody on their team threw that nade and just walk through it. I can't tell you how many times I've died and somebody has just walked right through my solar grenade and does after my respawn. Plus if you get that snap scorch kill it is hell for the other team, but it's just my opinion.

I would have put Aeon’s in A tier or S tier. With these last two seasonal mods you can make a ton of ammo. Also, their great for a Wavesplitter build
5:56 I already have, phoenix is sooooooooo good for back to back wells. 3rd encounter in Ron is perfect for it, you can use your well all you want and you’ll still have it back in time for dps phase
PLUS with the phoenix fall ornament you look drippy as HELL
Was just doin master RoN last night and was easily getting my well back before next DPS phase on Starfire. Ashes to assets is just dummy good and has power crept pheonix. I'd still say A tier though since it's amazing when you have 2 people running it in GMs. You can literally have 100% uptime by cycling wells. But unless A2A gets a hefty nerf, I'd say pheonix is a bit too situational to be considered S.
combine phoenix protocol with Bad juju... it becomes such a strong combo.
phoenix deserves S tier for that ornament alone, not to mention giving insane uptime on well

@@noirbe238 I'm with you there, I hate Starfire with a burning passion and it looks like garbo. I only use it when I'm going for fast boss clears. Even without Starfire, I use A2A on my Dawn Chorus lock and it's still really good. I have more supers than I know what to do with. Which is kind of Phoenix's problem at the end of the day. I rarely need my Well that much, even in GMs. For most content, A2A provides more than enough wells.
Stag gotta go in A. That thing Carries so hard in nightfalls. Break shield and corner camp with rift. Combined with every class the rift benefits somehow. I’d even say S.

I concur.. I cringed so hard when he puts it at B.. Constant child of the old gods, arc soul, threadlings.. But then again it is his opinion in the end

It’s really not that great for an experienced player. Sure it gives a bit more survivability but that’s about it, and if you play well you can avoid a large majority of damage

Gonna need one of these for the other classes I rarely play hunter and besides a really good Caliban's Hand build I got going I really don't know other good exotics for other elements(I realized when I was making loadouts for each element)
As long as Well of Radiance is such a highly valued super, the Exotic that gives you basically 50% off your cooldown for Well of Radiance will be good.
Phoenix protocoll also works with other subclasses, because the perk also works when you stay in a well of another warlock and phoenix protocoll gives you super Energy for kills in a well, that works on all subclasses, just force a friend to run well
Getaway Artists needs to be in A, imo. The Sentient Arcsoul is a straight upgrade from the normal rift one, and you can cast a rift to keep the better one up for longer.
Plus, with how often we’re making orbs now, a few mods can mean getting your grenade back in just two or three orbs.
I don’t disagree that it is good… but it’s so boring. It usually just steals kills away from me, so I don’t like it.
Getaways are actually not needed. You never should struggle to be amplified in pve on arc and that gives you the same result. If you run Sunstar you get all abilities like crazy and have the same effect as Getaways. The only real reason to run getaways is to have arc souls plus the slide thing which is just meh.
Immortal Arc Soul build is CRAZY! That’s the one I’ve been using since Getaway Artist came out way back when. That arc buddy really does put in work dude.

Getaway artist super underrated in pvp. Amplified on demand and basically changes your ttk in every gunfight as long as you are close enough. Super oppressive with NTTE.
Felwinter's helmet can give Void Warlock's a better Hunter build kit. Invis, volatile, debuffs, and room clearing finishers that push enemies of the map.
Pair with the Vow's exotic weapon.
Skull of ahmkara with the hateful wish ornament is the best looking exotic imo (besides phoenix protocol with that one ornament) and it's slept on in pve. I sweat I've had times where I cast my super, throw one grenade and get it back. And for one of the best DPS supers in the game that's big, especially if you can cast it on a boss and adds
I love this list. Being a Warlock main since the D1 alpha, this is a perfect list.

Nezarec sin is definitely S tier. Especially if you have the right void build. It's non-stop ability energy and nonstop devour.
Contraverse hold > Nezarec sin, imo. The ability to spam very large vortex grenades that suck enemies in around them, apply a debuff, and last for a super long time is better than higher regen rate for all abilities. Plus u still have devour up for a while as well.
For lower level content, sure. In higher level content though like master/GMs it doesn't hold up quite as well

All it gives is ability regen though. I love it dearly but I feel like it deserves that A. You get high ability up time, but a lot of warlocks give high ability up time for grenades which matters the most usually. And they do that on top of offering some other benefit. And devour in of itself further improves grenade regen. One of it's biggest up sides is that it isn't strictly locked to void but merely killing with void. People over rate nezerac sin since it's changes. I genuinely think it need's a little something more to give it a kick like adding destabilizing rounds to it in some fashion for it to be where it once was. Maybe something like void kills grant void energy and extend destabilized rounds. Void 3.0 really took the wind out of it's sails for me given how easy devour is to get.
i love using felwinter with strand, just grapple punching and stunning everything

Also phoenix is easily replaced by mods that give energy with grenade/melee kills
I wouldn't say easily as phoenix without those mods, just using weapons can generate 3 wells before the first even finishes.

Infinite well is an easy S-tier.
You can't replace phoenix with ashes to assets and such, you can only come close to it and only with a grenade oriented build. Also, you can use these mods WITH phoenix and get wells back to back, which is extremely potent.
I only rock Mantle for Stasis, because I love Ager's catalyst and that allows for _so much uptime_ on it. Dump that catalyst on a boss, kill ads until next damage phase, you can get it back for a second volley.
Well, you are right about one thing. I'm not a warlock main anymore. After all the nerfs, I finally had enough in plunder and went back to titan, which i hadnt really played since d1. I still keep trying different warlock builds, but no playstyle flows naturally. It's just a lot of forcing yourself into x scenario to proc whatever exotic or mods the build requires, when similar or better effects can be done way easier on a titan.
Imo a lot of these exotics are overvalued by the tier list. Most of them are literally neutral game exotics that have very little effect on gameplay and just work in the background. Eye just boosts recharge, which is fine I guess. Lunafactions make you reload faster when you're locked in your sea bear circle. Necrotic grip works with melee, and sure they are good, but if you're in melee range on warlock you've done something wrong and are totally screwed. etc... A lot of these are fine, but they don't scream "exotic" in terms of gameplay function. They just make x ability recharge a bit faster, and even then you should probably just equip a scout rifle and your rift of choice to plink out the adds with, and then lfr whatever majors you can see from downtown.
Honestly, I don't have a lot of the post Beyond Light era exotics, so I can't speak to the quality of those. Legend lost sectors are just stupid difficult and boring, so I'm not willing to grind hours of a day away to get a mid ass roll of an exotic I should just be able to get from a world engram.
You can tell it's a pvp players list when ophidean aspect is in s tier... borderline useless in pve when you have loader mods, also fallen sunstar should be s, infinite abilities is super potent in every activity
I was waiting for sun star to go up there, 3 traces and you pretty much have all your abilities

@@user-bt7ve4yx8n Arc warlock has good ability up time anyway I don't really find sunstar to be S tier. It's effect is great for teamates but I generally find myself gravitating towards battle harmony since I can get traces by taking advantage of jolt with that and make my weapons dealing jolt stronger to boot. And if I want to meme I guess I can throw out chaos reach often too but I feel like my arc trace rifle ends up doing more than that super via jolt.
Sunbracers are good in all, i repeat, all content, in anything exept gms, you dont need weapons

I agree with most of this, except I would swap Wings and Vesper (Wings restricts air mobility meaning you get hit more, might even be F tier for me)(Vesper gives 700% Rift regen. I run 10 Recovery) and would put Sunstar in S if it didn't look so terrible. Sunstar gives the most ability spam out of anything Warlock has to offer, but Crown both has similar effect and looks good.

i use astrocyte for my blink pvp build. it's great for comp when i get stuck playing rift, makes dunking so easy
Buddy of mine is an Astrocyte main, blinking everywhere causing mayhem. It's funny and glorious as hell to watch.
I really like testing new Warlock stuff and evaluating them. Even if I don't use them because I am a Void Simp, i can see their power and I actually believe this Tier List to be actually agreeable. It's not about how much fun you have, it's how good they are. But I love my fun so I wont always use the best thing anyway
Sure but if it’s about best warlock exotics? The only things for PvE that should be in top column are starfire, contras and osmio everything else is objectively worse. If you are a warlock main you’ll understand that the majority of these exotics don’t actually fit into many viable builds.

@@aurockson2696 I don't agree with the position that because you're a Warlock main, you'd understand that most of these exotics don't fit into good builds. I've been a Warlock since the beginning of D1. And I mostly agree with this list. Ophidian's is a must-have for PvP. Karnstein, I found solves Stormcaller's survivability issues and makes for a very fun "lightning vampire" set-up. Sunbracers can do stupid damage on single targets. Necrotic Grip is good in both sandboxes. Pair it with Osteo and Broodweaver, you'll consistently steal kills from teammates. It's also not too shabby on Stormcaller, in my experience. I could go on. While I don't use it (fashion reasons, lol), I see a lot of people here insisting Stag deserves to be higher.
I'm also not sure how many builds people are creating with Starfire, Contra, and Osmio. I can only think of the one for each exotic. And that's kind of my point here. They're seemingly "objectively worse" to you because that's what you think. What's "the best" will always have a layer of subjectivity to it.

I still think starfire is going to be meta. its utility is still going to be just as good outside of boss phases. sure the boss dps has been destroyed but honestly there are some boss fights where you dont even use em that much for it to make a huge difference
Used the Phoenix Protocol on half the GM's early in the week. Mars, I had two Wells up at the same time a fair bit while using a solar machine gun w/ Ember of Combustion + Wonder.
I can get wells back as fast with Starfire and double ashes to assets, depends on the situation obviously you need a lot of red bars you can kill with a fusion grenade

Nothing Manacles needs a bump. Gives you two enhanced grenades without using chaos accelerant or having to charge before throwing. Great with volatile and devour and opens you up to use Child of OG. Best of all aspects with 4 fragments.
The tracking *still* doesn't work though, and it bugs out if you use it with chaos accelerant

I think he was a little generous on some of his rankings but you can’t go wrong with anything in his S or A tier tbh, some from B are solid but those are either more case by case or he just overranked them (looking at skull and geomags💀)

@@PsYcO9iKiLl9YaH Sunbracers are most likely going to replace Starfire as the PvE Dawnblade meta. With the right set-up and momentum, a Sunbracers build can handle every single PvE activity in the game.
For example, in some raids where the boss doesn’t move around a lot, Sunbracers can do a stupidly high amount of damage. Used alongside good weapons and debuffs/buffs, I’ve seen folks get over 8mil in damage, such as Golgoroth. They’re extremely good and that’s why I concur with Cross that they belong in S. Killing an ad isn’t hard at all.
@@equestrianmidnight5619 even if the cd on sf gets nerfed the fact taht you can get youre grenade back just by doing dmg in a rift is 100% better, i know people jump the hype train for sb now. we are talking about exos and an exo that requieres you to get a kill always sucks and in a team who everybody knows and you can make call outs yes sb are pretty strong but the fact that sf is soooo easy to use makes it better all day. im a warlock main and i dont really like solar but i absolutely hate sunbracers just for the fact taht you have to get a kill and i dont know why people liek it so much, in pretty much every matchmake activity i always outscore every sunbracers user and im most of the time on either void hunter,hammer titan or voidlock. the list is not about perfect teams who can manage to put out 8 mil dmg^^
Sunbracers is just awesome all the time and I feel like nothing manacles not working properly makes it a fun nuke thing for me
There is only one thing I disagree on, battle harmony is def A at least. It is very use full and I believe that the dmg buff it gives stacks with surge mods. Personally I like it very much in Aeger's or Wavesplitter builds however, since my Osmeo is in S tier I will let it slide.
Just to let everyone know Starfire Protocol will be getting nerfed and pretty hard next season. I found out from the leaks but I won’t go into any specifics. So Starfire will soon be dethroned as the strongest exotic.

They're (supposedly according to leaks) reducing the amount of grenade energy returned from 20% to 5%. A pretty fair nerf in all honestly. You still get double nades from it, instant empowering rift cooldowns, and pretty good nade regen on the side.

@GamingOverlord very fair, especially after what happened to HOIL. Infact titans have been taking a ton of hits lately. I play all the classes but I've noticed that warlocks have been dodging all the hard nerfs recently. Which is to be expected though, they always seem to go after one class at a time. I guess nows the time they are going to focus on warlocks.

Karnstein’s being S-Tier makes me so happy since it synergizes so well with glaives (if only bungie didn’t nerf them to the ground/hope they buff glaives again-one shot red bars with melee since in Neomuna you have to melee two times in order to kill a red bar).
Vesper of radius is pretty fun with strand,eat the grenade,put rift if surrounded,everything around u get suspended and killed becus of the aoe dmg it does.

Nothing manacles is MINIMUM A case for S. the nade isn’t as good as contra, but it gets out as more weakness, and let’s you run the more of the lok kit
I've done extended testing with nothing manacles. Makes your nades less likely to kill a group of adds, and sometimes even does less dmg against larger targets. Until they actually fix the tracking they will continue to be a meh tier exotic

Not a 100% sure it's only a leak if i'm not wrong, but it will get a buff to make a suppression blast when you blink if the leaks are true. I hope they are, this sounds like a cool buff and for sure there would be some great clips in pvp suppressing supers with it lol

With the exception of Starfire protocol, Everything in A and S tier can be swapped around really depending who you ask, most b tier exotics only seem to exist to put a ban aid on Bungie's poor balancing of abilities and supers, everything below that are just gimmicky or completely abandoned or forgotten by the developer's, I haven't used Vespers since Managerie was still around as an example

Astrocyte verse could probably be improved if it have volatile rounds after blinking with a slight cool-down on reproccing it
Warlocks ONLY have ophidians for pvp. Transversive steps are outclassed by both other movement exotics on the other classes. Ophidians has a very high usage rate because there is NOTHING else….

Battle harmony is slept on hard if you want high uptime on super. If you don't spam your super than you basically get rampage free on your weapon.

If you are a warlock main and have used sunbracers in pve you know it's really good. Way stronger than Starfire at adclear. Try it in the planets enc on master or on nezy on master or a master nf with a lot of ads. You can kill nearly every single ad in the entire room by yourself no problem and have restoration x2 up 24/7.

i cant see winter's guile as s tier rn until it gets a duration buff but maybe at least A tier for being able to work with glaives, BUT winter's guile does work really well with void and vexcalibur, because if you have the right aspects, you can have a huge amount of survivability and damage output, even if its only 5 seconds, i actually have a build based around vexcalibur and winter's guile and im ngl its severly fun to use.
Fallen Sunstar makes arclock stupid strong in PVE, I main it for RON if we ever need better add clear even with all of the artifact mods for strand and void. You can get 100% uptime on super charged arc souls, 5-10 sec jolting pulse grenades with minimal investment, 20-30 sec ranged melees that can hit multiple targets, 1-1.5 min Chaos Reach w/ 4-5 Int, and the best orb generation by far across all subclasses. Criminally underrated and definite s-tier since it’s the only way to make an entire subclass viable for endgame PVE haha. Also Felwinter’s is clearly s-tier you get one of the only methods for a 30% debuff in the game for free doing something you are already constantly doing in master and GM level content that’s nuts.
the fact that your the first person I see that talks about sunstar is insane. such an insane exotic for arc, esoeciall next season when ionic traces will gove us armor charges as well

Nothing manacles is so underated this season. You have at your hands two grenades add the weaken effect to grenades and your cooking, now pair that with a glaive and the fragment that gives grenade of melee kills and you now have no stop weaken grenades.
As warlock main I do not enjoy contraverse anymore when I can just pop rift for an arc soul
Im so glad you put Rain of Fire at S tier. Such an underrated and EXTREMELY POWERFUL exotic. The main reason is you get radiant regardless of your subclass. That is a 10% damage increase for just getting a kill with a fusion or linear fusion on ANY SUBCLASS.
Warlocks have such good exotics that i have seriously thought about switching my main to warlock from hunter.
It's actually a 25% buff in pve, and 10% in pvp

i actually did switch from hunter to warlock back in s14 mainly because ive always been the kind of guy to support the team, and warlocks just fit there. also i agree that rain of fire is amazing
@@Tp_OverHeat i might be doing because alot of hunter exotic armor lately are SOOO BLAND!!! Take this season, we got a helm that give resistance when grappling and a pair of boots that help reload, hand and AA when dodging. Both very strong BUT boring. Warlocks have necrotic grips, rain of fire(btw something to know about me i LOVE fusions), getaway artists, and a few more. Such cool armor with some insane builds tied to them. The best hunter has is gyrfalcon. Warlock exotic armor are just cooler.
Something that should be noted, you get +30 AE with Astrocyte on all classes.
I love Astrocyte Verse, but it needs faster radar and weapon ready out of blink, even faster than it gives you now
