Anything the FDA says I just do the opposite. I recommend reading “Health and Beauty Mastery” by Julian Bannet, that book is a real eye opener about shocking stuff health industry is doing! I completely changed my habits
Agree with you 200%. I went on a health transformation last year, massive diet cleanup organics, grass fed range proteins, lots of fruits and veggies, joined a gym workout 4x per week, 2mi walk every morning, and a thousand podcasts on cleaning up the Microbiome. Hands down, at 70 I feel better than I did when I was younger. It's wonderful to be in charge of your health this way. My doctor doesn't have a clue.
Take iodine from global healing. I used it and I feel great. Dr David brownstein said that over 90% of people in the USA are deficient in iodine. Watch his videos and Dr Ed group's video about iodine
Great interview!!!! As a cancer patient in remission I use nutrition to heal!!! I love this type of message. As a middle school teacher I try to share this message with the kids as often as possible! Keep the good stuff coming! I have a great DO functional doc in Michigan that almost left the field! Let’s celebrate these great doctors who are doing it right!
The elderly are one of the most over medicated population groups. They are medicated with sedatives and antipsychotics for management purposes at nursing homes. The diets at assisted living homes and nursing homes are high in sugar and refined carbs with dietitians making dietary choices of highly refined sugary drinks like Boost to optimize nutrition. The National Consumer Voice for Long Term Care is a nonprofit advocacy group that would be excellent for you to interview.
Yep most are on 10 or more medications with tons of them reacting with each other in terrible ways ! Medic / firefighter of 25 years .. I’m very aware that the elderly is lied too when it comes to medications and food
I visited a medical clinic for the first time after moving to a new area. The first Doctor I met was grossly overweight. And he began to lecture me on diet and lifestyle 😅😅. I found a Doctor after three attempts who is almost a functional Doctor.
Fantastic interview. It's really a shame that the medical establishment has become so corrupted with pharma. And then there's people like my father-in-law who are perfectly happy being on a statin and BP medication instead of making a few lifestyle changes. I've been involved in health and nutrition for over 20 years and always try to work on him, but he literally says he doesn't want to give up his pop and junk food and that taking a pill is easier. As for me, I'm 48. I've been weightlifting and performing cardio workouts for a little over 29 years. I eat pretty healthy most of the time, but still have the occasional pizza, french fries, ice cream, etc....its just in extreme moderation. All of my stats (BP, lipids, a1c, etc) are perfect and I have the energy of someone in their 20s. I literally almost never get sick. It's always funny when I go in for an occasional doctor checkup they ask "what medications are you taking?" not "are you taking any medications" like being on something is normal. They're usually quite shocked when I say I'm not on anything, lol.
I was a Registered Dental Hygienist for 47 years, now retired for 10 years. I remember a question on an exam which asked, “Remember, a ____is under every tooth.” Most of us answered the periodontal membrane and we were all wrong. The answer was, “A person”!
Hippocrates… the Greek physician .. 460-370 BC Said: “ Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food “ …. Taken us a very long time to learn the truth of that !
Similar concerns in the UK. Our NHS is broken. Money poured into building new diabetes and othet metabolic condition clinics and hospitals. Treating the condition and not investing on prevention and evidence based advice.
As I'm searching for answers to help me through my perimenopause, I've seen this doctor twice so far on other channels and now here he is today. Max, have you ever had Dr Ken Berry on your podcast?
The way forward is carnivore . I’m going to be blunt if you tube allows me .. 90 percent carnivore and give it a few months because the first few weeks aren’t easy peasy then you will see your symptom’s improve , keep a log of everything all your symptoms , feelings , Pain , sleep , any period stuff so you can see pattterns . Also start HRT ! Don’t be scared to get the right hormones . Sleep , nutrition , hormones , workouts and stress relief .. in that order. Focus on the long game with your health ..
The title made me annoyed. I am not into conspiracy rants. But it seems the guest is a good guy who acknowledges that his colleagues have good intentions. Also, haven’t listened till the end, don’t know if this comes up. But many patients want meds, not diet and exercise advice. They won’t do the lifestyle changes, it’s hard.
The 'fruit and vegetables' dogma is s just as bad. Theyre not actually good for you. Its ruminant meat that should be the staple. Add other meats, eggs, wild fish, seafood, butter, ghee and tallow.

If someone is on a ketogenic diet, i would say that the idea of glucose before surgery is unnecessary, and probably harmful.

Im surprised that the black box warning for thyroid cancer was not mentioned regarding ozempic. All patients should be warned about this.
