When I was 23, I was a trainer to an older gentleman who let me drive this car, an El Dorado, and a Lexus SC400, all new! They all compared nicely, with the Caddies having a bit more pep. Thanks for the memories!
Greetings Bob, this bright red Cadillac is spectacular!!! These Cadillacs of the nineties are really nice, quiet, smooth riding & powerful!! This one is a real cream puff!!! Thanks for sharing this exciting video!!! 👍👍🙂
Great car, I owned 5 of this generation of STS Re the plastic wood, Cadillac heavily promoted the fact that this generation used real Zebrano wood trim throughout the car. Re the comment about the wheels being aftermarket, they are actually OEM wheels, referred to as the “cookie cutter” design within the STS community.
I don’t know how Bob does it but somehow he manages to find the best, most well taken care of low miles beautiful cars, I love that he goes for all year makes and models, excellent content also love how you show all of the details in your cars good and not so good! One of my favorite channels for sure.
This early 90s STS was the first tiny inkling that Cadillac was going to try to change its image to become what it is today (and will continue to progress towards, with the V series and announcement of Andretti Cadillac F1 as a possibility). I'm biased as an XLR-V owner, but I also had a 93 STS and aside from the standard Northstar oil leaks, it was an extremely solid vehicle
Ive worked for a general contractor that does insurance work for 22 years and long time ago i got called out to a job where someone drove one of these through the brick wall of their house. Literally clear through it, and all that was wrong was dented bumper and a few dings on the hood

I have a 1994 cadillac seville sls that's blue and I love that car so much
best cadillac design of the stempel years (specifically 90-92, broadly speaking the company-wide onslaught of FWD products ranging from '80-'03)

I noticed the borrowed comment about fine plastic trees, but I do believe these used real wood.

Beautiful Caddy!
Awesome find! The sunroof was a rare option then. 👍👍
That is information that will disappear with time
What's actually FAR MORE RARE than the sunroof is the heated seat option! And the full power lumbar controls.
Now if it had a black leather interior it would have been a Videobob Special.
