I am LOVING all these Cadillac promo videos. I never knew how much were put into these cars until I started watching these. These are awesome and so much better than the new junk that all look the same! I always loved the body style of the Cadillac Seville and they always catch my eye anywhere I see them
My favorite Caddy! They were trying so hard to make a sports sedan that would not alienate their customers, and they really did a great job. Yes, they had problems, but pretty much every car has a unique set of problems.
Just bought one this morning with 140k miles on it. Will update this comment someday when it blows up or makes it to 200k maybe. I’m in love with it and will do my best to preserve its glory:)
Fantastic! I was wanting to see when a video on the Seville STS would come out. Its still my favorite model of the 90s era. My parents bought a 1995 SLS and had it for many years. I remember watching this same video being played at the dealer, I even think I have a copy somewhere in my collection. Now I need to search for it. These days at Cadillac were great!
I sold more STS, SLS, and ETC on my car lot than anything else - to people who came wanting to buy Accords and BMW’s in Southern Cal. I _never_ had any issues with them. I did tell my customers that the engine needed to be treated (maintenance wise) like they would treat a BMW or Audi engine, vs how they would treat a Chevy engine. Fond memories of a fine car. No new Cadillac comes close as far as comfort is concerned.
That is great to hear. I always loved all these Cadillacs that I should have stayed with much earlier than wasting time with the other foreign brands like i did. There is something very special when experiencing any of these models. I have a 2001 Deville DTS Ive had since 2010 and it has been excellent and flawless in every way. None of the new Cadillacs can compare to these now "older" models like the Seville, Deville or Eldorado.
@@2W3X4YZ5 I never will sell it. Ive owned it this long and has been very good to me. Im very comfortable in it and really dont care for any other car except if its another olde cadillac like it. I still get the same excitement everytime I get in and drive as i did when i first test drove it 10 years ago!
Same here, very excited when I saw it. Takes me back to when these videos were playing at the dealer and me watching them. I also would like to see the 2000+ Deville next as that's what I drive everyday now.
I just bought one two months ago and paid a garage to take out the security feature as its out of date and it was inconvenient at times. I was also told that that my air intake was cracked so itll cost me about 700 cdn to do that part, I will get that done next month.

Oh how I miss the 90s 😊
I own a 2002 Eldorado and it's identical to this 1997 Seville. Very comfortable car!
I love the eldorado too!
Шикарный аппарат, нет слов!!! Мерсы, Бмв и тому подобное курят в стороне)))
BEAUTIFUL CAR'S,. LUXURY AND MOTOR....
Do you have the 1995 Seville sts video

How's it running now?
Love this car!
No one is going to talk about how she put a cup in the 90s cupholder with no top, like a normal glass in a car cupholder, what the heck?
videotape manual supplements are such a good idea. standardized in the late 1970s.....
of course, you still need the "full" manual to look up more information, but an at-a-glance program shows more than heavy wording does sometimes!
The next video from the 2000 Lincoln ls video presentación pleasee
A fantastic car .Une voiture emblématique
“What about the Northstar system?”
“I don’t think we even use it!”
Seinfeld
Thanks so much my friend
The infamous Northstar engine with built in self destruct mode. A nice car otherwise.
😂 So true.
If you want self destruct mode then buy the older 4.5/4.9L like was in my 90 Deville.
no they dont, you have to maintain them. Its no meant to a race car, had 2 of them one to over 200000 miles, no problems...
@@SuperBooboo02 i redline them daily anyways
King 👑 cadillac
Loved the style, wouldn’t wish the Northstar on my worst enemy.
You are right, I would not want that on my enemies either because THEY DO NOT DESERVE THESE CARS.
I would rather have a 97 bmw 740il or a 97 Mercedes Benz S500
Go right ahead! To me, those two cars do not ride as nice or as comfortable as the Cadillac Seville.
