It's sad how many Catholic have no idea how powerful these items are. The sense of tradition has been lost in most churches. It is refreshing to hear sermons like this. I proudly wear my brown scapular, miraculous metal and St. Benedict's metal every day, and intend to keep wearing them until my last breath.

Debra Beatty - Right off the bat I can see two things wrong here. #1: You need to learn to write correctly. #2: You are indeed ignorant of the faith. A Catholic understands at the very least, the basic fundamentals, and Mary has a critical role. She is known as the Immaculate Conception since she was born without original sin, and is the Queen of Heaven. Without Her "yes" and Her complete obedience to God, our salvation would not have been possible, since she is the Mother of Jesus, and therefore the Mother of God.

If you really want to learn about the true faith find a good traditional Latin rite church and priest. May God have mercy on you and Blessed Mother PLEASE pray for this person.

Wearing the Brown Scapular of our Blessed Lady, is something my own mother had me and my siblings start doing on a daily basis, years ago, so thank GOD for that!

TenkaiStar108 What I don't understand is why they don't say who they are? There is another great preacher and everyone says his name is Fr Wolfe but nobody can say for certain even though some people say they know who he is.
Are they afraid of the Vatican? After all aren't they preaching God's word so why hide their names?
Jesus nor the Apostles nor the Saints hid their names.
I don't think it's fair to compare them to the apostles. The apostles weren't exposed to the internet. These priests aren't really hiding their names either, rather, it's just the parishioners respecting their privacy, which is the proper thing to do if you're not sure whether they're okay with their identity being out online. Traditional sermon or not, it's probably just to keep a low profile. Not mentioning the name of the Priest doesn't mean you can't pray for or learn from him.

I attend mass every Sunday and i have never i repeat NEVER heard a Father encourage the congregation to wear the brown scapular i feel like we should be constantly bombarded by priests telling us to wear it. It's so important.

Thank You for this video full of valuable information...Where can one get the Benedict medals? My mom passed away last year and I found part of her scapular in her purse...It is a very old one but only one part the part that has Our Lady Of Mt Carmel...She must of worn it till it fell apart...I’m not sure where the other part is...could I wear the part I found in her purse? I’ve seen many for sale in diff catalogs I receive but none like this as I said it’s very old...I wish I could find one like it...also I have a medal that is a Carmel scapular but it’s a medal and not on the wool cloth...is that the same as a sacramental brown wool scapular? On one side of the Medal is Our Lady Of Mt Carmel and the other side is the Sacred Heart...I would really love to get one and have it blessed and enroll in the wearing of the Brown scapular...And I’ve never heard of enrollment being offered at the church I attend Mass...I live in the South and there aren’t many Catholics down here so I could use some help!!!

Yes ,it does the priest at Holy Family Church here in Toronto is so far the priest that showed dedication to this.He enrolled me for my Brown Scapular( prayer in latin) and blessed my St Benedict Medal !

And you should be wearing a miraculous medal and be praying rosary daily and read your bible. And communion and confession.

You should definitely get the miraculous medal and brown scapular. I have a miraculous medal and it has greatly benefited my spiritual life. Our Lady told St. Catherine Laboure that she wanted everyone to wear it around the neck. I plan on getting the brown scapular as well, since the promises of great graces and avoiding hell are worth it (one needs to get enrolled in the brown scapular by a priest to receive all benefits.) When you enroll in the brown scapular you can either choose to pray the little office of the Blessed Virgin Mary daily or ask the priest to substitute that obligation with the daily Rosary (which you are already doing.) Ave Maria.
@@dwong9289 Thank you for this! Yes, do buy a brown scapular! I just bought a brown scapular. Now I need a priest to enroll me and it’s kinda hard to find one during the pandemic. I bought the scapular and it’s really cheap so I guess our Lady doesn’t require much from us and there’s no reason for catholics not to get a scapular. I’m planning to buy a miraculous medal next and have it blessed too.

3 out of 5 brown scapulars that you can purchase from most Catholic stores and websites generally already include the miraculous medal on one cloth and the st. Benedict crucifix on the other. Tripple whammy Sacramental. Well, four if you count the crucifix apart from the SB medal as separate Sacramentals.

It does not need to be blessed. But you must be enrolled by a priest, otherwise the you won't enjoy the promises of Our Lady.
My scapular is made of metal. Is this the same as that of a brown scapular?
To my knowledge it has to be wool. You may want to ask your priest about it.
I was enrolled twice. Once with the brown scapular. Then later, I was enrolled with the medal one.
You really should wear the Brown Scapular, like our Mother Mary wears. I'm a Third Order Lay Carmelite, we wear our cloth Brown Scapular. It was Our Lady that led me to a Catholic Church, Our Lady Of The Immaculate Conception, in the South, and the priest there gave a lesson on the Brown Scapular and enrolled us. I am also a member of the Legion of Mary, we wear the cloth, Brown Scapular. I love Mother Mary. It is a wonderful subject but priest needs to talk with more conviction and not stumble on words.
It is so sad the things people will trust in for their salvation when they reject the written Scriptures as the only authority given to us by God. ANYTHING added to grace voids grace. How can you merit something that is given to you freely?
Why don't you respect our religion and traditions? We are not going around criticising your religion, you don't understand what the Priest is talking about Sacramentals, but we know, we have our own experiences, this are weapons against Satan, please respect our Church and our teachings, thank you.
These sacramentals are effective. One day my father was aggressive and suicidal, after I gave the blessed green scapular, he suddenly calm down and become normal. No longer suicidal. Unless you yourself experience spiritual attack, you wont understand it.
