I've been a maggot since 1999, when the self-titled album came out. I was blown away, and still am. I may be showing my age, but I survived 8 of their pits, 8 shows that were all like this, and it was absolutely amazing.
I'm a huge Slipknot fan ever since the beginning, but Custer is one of their worst songs. They are trying too hard to be heavy and there is little substance. I would say react to Sic, Heretic Anthem, Unsainted, and Birth of the Cruel.

New sub! I got to see Slipknot live at Knotfest last summer and it was amazing! I flew all the way down to Washington from Alaska just to see them and the other bands that were there! Since I live way up north, I never thought I'd get to see them in person. We don't get a lot of good shows here. Welcome to the metal family dude! There are asshole elitists here and there, but there are also so many awesome people and lots of cool bands and subgenres - it's a great community to be a part of.

Have been a fan of slipknot for years and years and i finally got the chance to see them live in January, absolutely crazy show, fractured my kneecap in a mosh pit during Wait and Bleed, hands down fav song, worth the busted kneecap lmao. Cool to see you being so open minded to new genres especially since metal is so polarised too

New sub! I got to see Slipknot live at Knotfest last summer and it was amazing! I flew all the way down to Washington from Alaska just to see them and the other bands that were there! Since I live way up north, I never thought I'd get to see them in person. We don't get a lot of good shows here. Welcome to the metal family dude! There are asshole elitists here and there, but there are also so many awesome people and lots of cool bands and subgenres - it's a great community to be a part of.
Metal fans are most kindest people in the world.. Here in Finland we have this Festival called Tuska (Pain) and police said "we are bored to come watch people, because these people don't cause any criminal activity"

My first Slipknot show was in like 2005....I’ve seen them live probably 8 times and I swear I get more excited for the next show than I did for the last! And I was a hip hop Dj for 15 years on the radio and djing concerts for big acts
