Thomas, there's never a wrong time to take beta alanine because it reverses senescence cells and if you want to be healthy and practice anti-aging techniques, beta alanine is an excellent way to make more carnitine. It is the carnitine that is reversing senescent cells

I love taurine - made me feel better when I was sick! What is HMB? Ok google results: HMB plays an anticatabolic role in muscle tissue. In other words, HMB prevents muscle protein breakdown and reduces the loss of fat-free mass. These effects seem to be most pronounced during catabolic states, including cancer cachexia,[5] acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS),[6] and aging.[7][8] HMB seems to be particularly effective for preventing the age-related loss of muscle mass and for preserving strength and body composition in bedridden or sedentary older adults.[7][8]
HMB stimulates muscle protein synthesis, but supplementation fails to increase fat-free mass, improve body composition, or increase measures of strength performance in athletes and trained individuals, and its use in these populations cannot be recommended.[9][10][11] HMB may be effective for reducing exercise-associated muscle damage after high-intensity exercise.[4]

If you aren't doing the loading phase (which there isn't enough literature on yet) you want to take it a couple minutes before the workout.
You'll feel some tingling sensations, but don't worry it's part of the beta alanine.
I's suggest using 2-3g for your first week to feel it out. Some people are very sensitive to the tingles.
Only go to 5 grams or so once you feel comfortable with it.
I personally don't find much benefit to using more than 5g other than having to buy it more frequently.
Mix it with around 2.5g taurine.
      5g creatine
2-3g hmb and you're good to go.
Maybe some tmg if you want. But as good as it works... Tmg is gross 🤢

    • @Gasp7000
      @Gasp7000 Місяць тому

The Little Salt Spill (...This is not misinformation, so copy this quick in case it gets misunderstood by a cookie-cutter-head):
Iodine is necessary within its balance, but I would avoid earing crap salt just to get iodine. Iodine is best taken in the form of nascent iodine (drops), but good salts do contain some.
The #1 premium salt is "Wet, grey seasalt", like Celtic Seasalt harvested from the coast of France, which you can get in a number of places--I buy it from the San Francisco asalt Co. I keep it in my kitchen like milk and eggs. It is supposed to stay damp. You can read about it's amazing qualities in the book Your Body's Many Cries For Water, which Dr. Mercola talked about. It is, across the board, the most perfectly complete and balanced salt on earth. Cravings for excess salt are minimized with this salt, too, because with junk salt, salt cravings are not actually cravings for salt, they are cravings for salt's missing mineral componants that were destroyed at 1200 degrees, and for why??--to make it pretty and white? It is idiocy to high heat salt like that. I call it crap-salt and it hasn't been in my house for 20 years, we only use wet grey seasalt. You have to get used to it's dampness. It will not pour from a crap-salt shaker. It comes in both coatse chunks (very fun) and fine ground. With that you need a skaker with bigger holes about an 1/8" big each. This stuff reversed my husband's heart failure in 5 days. He was rosy in 7.
2nd best: Redmond Seasalt from salt mines in Utah. This one is almost complete, but much better that high-heated junk salt. It's iron is a but lower than Himalayan salt, which is good. Absrbable Iron is best gotten through red meat and animal food. Salt and plants absorb much much less. Because this salt it is not damp, it is not as effective as true grey seasalt. Grey seasalt can treat heart failure more effectively than Redmond salt and Himalayon salt. It comes balanced for both sea life and humans.
3rd best, Himalayan Seasalt. This can be slightly too high in iron for some--not sure it is the absorbable kind, either, so stay on top of blood tests for iron. But this salt is good for airborn allergens because if heated as a salt lamp, it creates negative ions in the air and those attach to dust particles, causing them to drop out of the air (Don't take a nap on the floor with your schnozz smashed into carpet. Just sayin'.) I learned this fursthand from my allergist. I don't use it to eat, it has more minerals if you only have that, and it's far better that crap-salt.
The 4th "(!?)best" salt? Crap salt. Just don't. In fact, if it ends up in your food, go ahead and add your grey salt, too, right on top of it. Otherwise, you will be missing the minerals that help your body let go of swelling and water retention, plus stop craving excess sodium.
You are hearing me right, we did this to reverse my husband's heart failure, which meant, we had to use grey seasalt as a diuretic. I told his dr and she never could wrap her little brains around that unheard-of, preposterous claim. But it works, nonetheless.
We take our own small grey seasalt container wherever we go eat. A tic-tac box works pretty well.
Now you know about salt. 💥🚀 Cheers! (Grey in cup)

When u weigh 200lbs and some 140lb blue belt smokes u, u realize quickly muscle doesn’t equal real life usable strength. Creatine is the only supplement I’ve kept. It's weird. For years I've watched many different UA-cam fitness influencers and they all talk about "the burn". I never get "the burn". I start off strong and as the reps build and fatigue sets in the reps just become more & more difficult to complete, ending in slowing down of rep speed and when pushed to complete the set, shaking sets in and ultimately failure. Somewhere in there I assume there should be a burn. Guess I'm lucky in that respect. Maybe it's my healthly diet and all the natural sups I take (which doesn't include either beta alanine or taurine).

I put a few drops of one of the Mio flavored water drops and drink it down. Tastes great, and you can adjust the proportion of any ingredient costing pennies per day for a pre workout. I usually have coffee an hour or two before my 10 am workout but if one doesn't drink coffee, caffeine could also be an ingredient.
