Thomas, there's never a wrong time to take beta alanine because it reverses senescence cells and if you want to be healthy and practice anti-aging techniques, beta alanine is an excellent way to make more carnitine. It is the carnitine that is reversing senescent cells

The greatest thing Thomas is doing for the YT community.... is demonstrating that smart people EVOLVE.
They do NOT allow public opinion to cast them in stone.
Bring in MORE influential hosts. Keep on probing them to share their changed insights.
The hardest thing for Average Joe, is to make a paradigm change.
They hate change.
Enlightened ones just keep on experimenting, learning, changing and evolving.

@@plinkert22 All of the sports medicine studies are low budget, 3 months. For bench by comparison, I plateau 3 to 4 months then have a launch phase where i go up 30 lbs. This just occurred or is still occurring. So depending on where the tiny sample population is if they act the same, the results can be great or nothing but not necessarily from the compound under study. These practitioners need to get up to a minimum of 6 months studies to show anything. Sport influencers are filled with posts about breaking these plateaus, but medicine so far isn't absorbing this behavior and influencers saying do this or that or take this or that supplement don't seem to understand this probable cycling either.

Guys ... this is the real deal. I've been using beta alanine for more than 1 year ... about 4-5g right before my gym session at night. It improves performance (not sure if I am dosing correctly ... but I just like the reaction I get). Recently, I just decided to test adding taurine 2g together with this and I got a really cool reaction. My body became more relaxed during the gym sessions, increasing the performance and recovery. So I recommend trying this out.
You should do 5 gram in morning and 5 gram before training.

From the meta study he linked to. So you might get 2% more time on a 2 minute set. But I doubt you will get any benefit if you're already on a high protein diet, because it's mechanism may be through carnosine lol. 99.9% of lifters do not do 2 minute sets. Most people don't do 1 minute sets.

@@wrOngplan3t He has videos on HMB. Check them out
@@wrOngplan3t hydroxy methylbutyrate
I love taurine - made me feel better when I was sick! What is HMB? Ok google results: HMB plays an anticatabolic role in muscle tissue. In other words, HMB prevents muscle protein breakdown and reduces the loss of fat-free mass. These effects seem to be most pronounced during catabolic states, including cancer cachexia,[5] acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS),[6] and aging.[7][8] HMB seems to be particularly effective for preventing the age-related loss of muscle mass and for preserving strength and body composition in bedridden or sedentary older adults.[7][8]
HMB stimulates muscle protein synthesis, but supplementation fails to increase fat-free mass, improve body composition, or increase measures of strength performance in athletes and trained individuals, and its use in these populations cannot be recommended.[9][10][11] HMB may be effective for reducing exercise-associated muscle damage after high-intensity exercise.[4]

Do you prefer Zanthan-L- cholinanimhide over extrohydryidroxide for alpha dehygenosis? I hear that consuming too much popcorn contributes to alphadyeroxitane synthesis in the cortexual stimuli region of the alpha polyalynal eurythanian comlex leading to bloating and flatulence.

My morning pre work out stack since a decade consists of creatine, glutamine, citrulline malate & beta alanine... I wouldn't add Taurine into this mix ever! Taurine is had post work out to bring down the high's you have from the pre stack! If I'm not mistaken, you yourself said that a few years ago!
Glutamine is consumed by the gut.
So my question is, is it best to take it right before work out or anytime during the day?
If you aren't doing the loading phase (which there isn't enough literature on yet) you want to take it a couple minutes before the workout.
You'll feel some tingling sensations, but don't worry it's part of the beta alanine.
I's suggest using 2-3g for your first week to feel it out. Some people are very sensitive to the tingles.
Only go to 5 grams or so once you feel comfortable with it.
I personally don't find much benefit to using more than 5g other than having to buy it more frequently.
Mix it with around 2.5g taurine.
5g creatine
2-3g hmb and you're good to go.
Maybe some tmg if you want. But as good as it works... Tmg is gross 🤢
Seed saved my gut!
u should try my seed in ur gut
Did i miss when and how much to take?? 🤷♂️
It's already in most pre workout mixes. L-citrulline, beta-alanine and caffeine, those three are all you need. I buy the cheap bulk brands, not the expensive flavor of the month name brands.
i buy those exact ingredients and make my own pre workout + hydration powder with caffeine. BAM save loads of money.
Is it better to have green juice or protein drink first thing in the morning?
Is this good for women and women over 60?
Would I need liposomal beta alanine? Or the cheap stuff just as good?

Hey Thomas, is Iodized salt necessary like all these salt packages say? Which salt is best? I dont trust anything they tell us anymore
Redmond Real Salt brand or any Himalayan pink salt
The Little Salt Spill (...This is not misinformation, so copy this quick in case it gets misunderstood by a cookie-cutter-head):
Iodine is necessary within its balance, but I would avoid earing crap salt just to get iodine. Iodine is best taken in the form of nascent iodine (drops), but good salts do contain some.
The #1 premium salt is "Wet, grey seasalt", like Celtic Seasalt harvested from the coast of France, which you can get in a number of places--I buy it from the San Francisco asalt Co. I keep it in my kitchen like milk and eggs. It is supposed to stay damp. You can read about it's amazing qualities in the book Your Body's Many Cries For Water, which Dr. Mercola talked about. It is, across the board, the most perfectly complete and balanced salt on earth. Cravings for excess salt are minimized with this salt, too, because with junk salt, salt cravings are not actually cravings for salt, they are cravings for salt's missing mineral componants that were destroyed at 1200 degrees, and for why??--to make it pretty and white? It is idiocy to high heat salt like that. I call it crap-salt and it hasn't been in my house for 20 years, we only use wet grey seasalt. You have to get used to it's dampness. It will not pour from a crap-salt shaker. It comes in both coatse chunks (very fun) and fine ground. With that you need a skaker with bigger holes about an 1/8" big each. This stuff reversed my husband's heart failure in 5 days. He was rosy in 7.
2nd best: Redmond Seasalt from salt mines in Utah. This one is almost complete, but much better that high-heated junk salt. It's iron is a but lower than Himalayan salt, which is good. Absrbable Iron is best gotten through red meat and animal food. Salt and plants absorb much much less. Because this salt it is not damp, it is not as effective as true grey seasalt. Grey seasalt can treat heart failure more effectively than Redmond salt and Himalayon salt. It comes balanced for both sea life and humans.
3rd best, Himalayan Seasalt. This can be slightly too high in iron for some--not sure it is the absorbable kind, either, so stay on top of blood tests for iron. But this salt is good for airborn allergens because if heated as a salt lamp, it creates negative ions in the air and those attach to dust particles, causing them to drop out of the air (Don't take a nap on the floor with your schnozz smashed into carpet. Just sayin'.) I learned this fursthand from my allergist. I don't use it to eat, it has more minerals if you only have that, and it's far better that crap-salt.
The 4th "(!?)best" salt? Crap salt. Just don't. In fact, if it ends up in your food, go ahead and add your grey salt, too, right on top of it. Otherwise, you will be missing the minerals that help your body let go of swelling and water retention, plus stop craving excess sodium.
You are hearing me right, we did this to reverse my husband's heart failure, which meant, we had to use grey seasalt as a diuretic. I told his dr and she never could wrap her little brains around that unheard-of, preposterous claim. But it works, nonetheless.
We take our own small grey seasalt container wherever we go eat. A tic-tac box works pretty well.
Now you know about salt. 💥🚀 Cheers! (Grey in cup)

7:47 So, because Taurine is a powerful antioxidant I suspect, that it is just beneficial in terms of performance not of hypertrophy.
For example My story is that mine mom has muscle distrofi after years of taking prednison for muscle inflammation. Her blood results have always below average creatinine levels. So I thought that she could supplement creatine but first i checked if she can take on when having problems with hearth. And I found study from 90' that supplementation of creatine helps by 10% faster rate of getting cardiac patient back on legs. Why is nobody using it for this reason? Because they cant patent it.
What do you think of sodium bicarbonate (soda doping), for extending that burn zone?
You have to take a lot to work.
What I wonder is this, will restricting the burn inhibit muscle growth? I'm trying to increase muscle growth. And what's happening at the blood/brain barrier?
If you say something, elaborate "if you take a direct carnosine supplement it won't survive" ... if you eat meat does it survive? Not sure what your saying but I do supplement for it reported antioxidant activity but after checking it seems the individual components work better then the dipeptide much the same way as l-citrulline boosts L-arginine better than taking L-arginine.
Ive been using creatine pre workout. Would you guys advise to move that to somewhere post workout and switch to beta-A and Taurine?
Sure. And anyway your muscle better absorb creatine after a workout. Caution with beta-alanine: it can cause a flush a bit like niacin particularly on an empty stomach even with small doses of less than 1g.

Jiujitsu, squats, deadlifts, pull-ups/hangs, farmer walks, push-ups and protein. A sht load of protein. When u weigh 200lbs and some 140lb blue belt smokes u, u realize quickly muscle doesn’t equal real life usable strength. Creatine is the only supplement I’ve kept. I’m 61 and get smashed on the mat weekly but almost never by being over powered but by functional strength and technique The “ lifting burn “ doesn’t mean sht in a fight !
I get into the burn zone on 5-7 reps. I do super super slow controlled reps.
Doing 500m on rowing made me lay down flat like a dying fish gasping for air 💀 i couldn't recover from that until 10min past.
I miss my BURN ZONE as an ex runner!
It's weird. For years I've watched many different UA-cam fitness influencers and they all talk about "the burn". I never get "the burn". I start off strong and as the reps build and fatigue sets in the reps just become more & more difficult to complete, ending in slowing down of rep speed and when pushed to complete the set, shaking sets in and ultimately failure. Somewhere in there I assume there should be a burn. Guess I'm lucky in that respect. Maybe it's my healthly diet and all the natural sups I take (which doesn't include either beta alanine or taurine).
Also vitamin C is a Big bonus😊
Super beets does that, also. And it's a whole food

Yea, I've been making my own pre workout for years and just buy the unflavored beta alanine powder, taurine, citruline, and I mix my creatine in with it even though it doesn't matter when you get your creatine in. I put a few drops of one of the Mio flavored water drops and drink it down. Tastes great, and you can adjust the proportion of any ingredient costing pennies per day for a pre workout. I usually have coffee an hour or two before my 10 am workout but if one doesn't drink coffee, caffeine could also be an ingredient.
I wonder if we went through a years worth of your videos and drank every drink you recommended and every supplement every morning how many litres of fluid that would be and would it fill an Olympic sized swimming pool
