I am a 55 yrs old new guitar player. Sooooo happy I came across your video! You provide simple instruction with easy playing/listening songs, and, a calm soothing voice to go along with the lesson. Thank you!!
You are such a nice man 😄 I'm from Ukraine and music is helping my morale a lot right now. I found many interesting songs on your channel. thank you very much
3 week newbie here, with a piano background. I sounded like a pine knot in a saw mill before I found this channel. It had me feelin' lower than a hog's chin on market day, but now I'm happier than cat at a fish fry! In fact, I'm so happy, I subscribed!
great video for me , a 60 plus year old begiinner who wants to get more comfortable playing actual songs along with others as well as working on my chord changes and strumming. i will explore more of your content. thank you , paul
I'm 55 and I just picked up the guitar a month ago. I am so thankful for your lessons. I've been working on trying to get smooth transitions form chord to chord and trying keep my strumming hand going on time. There is so much to learn and it is so fun.
Yeah. I am 65 and just started to learn how to play the guitar a month ago and I too am struggling with a smooth transition between chords. Some are easier than others. I'm working with an instructor but I came across this channel and hope to utilize it more when I am ready to start to play more songs.
Thanks so much! Happy you like it. I offer the tabs for these and all of my song lessons in my membership option along with much more. Check it out here www.relaxandlearnguitar.com/membership-subscribers/
These are some great classic songs to learn whatever your level. So great to see in the comments that people are learning these songs from RLG and seeing real progress. 😊
Just discovered your channel on UA-cam here in England. Excellent lessons, plus you're a great chap. Look forward to looking through other videos you have uploaded.
Cheers from Italy man and happy new year! Thanks you so much for these 4 classics especially Wonderful Tonight in such easy and sweet arrangement. Was searching a light version for so long and finally someone arranged it. Thanks you again, keep up the great work!
Excellent tutorial guitar lesson.😊You are a nice person and wonderful man for helping us to learn it in easy and fun way.Thank you and God bless you and your family😊
You’re the best Kevin! Love your videos man! Truly the best man! If you don’t mind , seeing my previous comment on what Martin guitar model you have. Thanks man. Keep the videos coming bro! You are truly the best teacher man! 👏🏻
one thing I wish I got told, is the group of chords that go together in a key eg wonderful tonight, how G,C,D and Em fit in G and for eg C,F,G and Am in key of C
Thanks for the video. I've been playing 35 yrs and this is just fine for me, as a singer. Songs don't need to be hard. I just need to learn more songs faster. I put a simple fingerstyle pattern over Wonderful Tonight. It works pretty good. This goes in the gig book.
Nice to see some beginner level teaching going on here. Seems so many of the instruction vids are way past this stage. I used to play and I was pretty good at picking out part of a song and after the part that is played I would tend to go off on my own take on the rest. Not accurate to the song but I only play for my own pleasure anyway. I used to live on hammer ons and pull offs and could pick the right string ever time, those were things that I took for granted. That is where I was 35 years ago. Then I got a bad case of carpal tunnel syndrome and had to quit until not too long ago. I found that I'm worse now than when I first started out in the 60s and 70s. Still playing the same HagstromII that I bought while in the Army in the 70s. Still love that guitar.
Videos really helped me playing the guitar after 20 years, been playing bass for a long time but it was good to dust off the acoustic again, thanks man 😅
Thank you for this great lesson. I learned a lot and most importantly can now play a few well known easy songs that people will recognize. Can you please let me know which model guitar you are playing and what strings do you like to use? Thank you
Hi there! Happy to help and thanks for watching. I play a Martin D1-R. Bought new in 1999. You can still find them used. Great guitar. I use Daddario light phosphor bronze strings.
Good stuff! Well done! Always sing! Even if you suck like I do. The purpose is to have fun, you'll learn the guitar part much better if you can sing with it.
Awesome podcast, Happy New Year, and all the best to you and your loved ones, hoping your New Year brings you happiness and prosperity. Thank you for this lesson and the downloads.
Been a long time since I’ve played but for your 1st song, same strum pattern and almost same chords as last kiss which is G to an A or Amin I think to C to D.
WOW!!! SUPER lesson... thank you so very much (you got my age right too lol!!) - salutes to your camera "crew" too!! -and I hope you have tons of success !!!
Is that a Martin DM you're playing? Great idea, by the way. I always thought learning a song was better than trying to learn a bunch of chords. Immediate sense of accomplishment. Learn more songs, learn more chords. Good luck to you!
Hey Kevin would you mind saying what model Martin you are playing please? Your guitar sounds great. I have a Martin as well, but for some reason don’t think it sounds as good as yours. Please if you could your model, and USA or Mexico guitar? Thanks man! Love your videos! You and your wife and your dog are the best 😀

I like how you show chords that make songs easy to play instead of some who have LGD =Lead Guitarest Disease. Lol. We all can't play like Van Halen
LGD. Lol good one!
Very helpful to us older beginners. A confidence builder.
