From the Netherlands I enjoy every lesson you teach. I am 75 years old and I am making a lot of progress because of your calm and simple way of teaching. And I love that warm voice of yours! Thank you very much Kevin!
My son is 18 and out of the blue said he wanted to learn guitar. So I dusted off my old (c. 1982) Takamine F-340 took him to the nearest music shop where the tech gave it new strings, a polish and a tune-up. I like your style. In my opinion, for my (beginmer) son, your video(s) will help him get off to a great start. Thank you!
Dude, I'm 61, started playing in my 50's was taught by a 21 year old and he was one of the best! I kept playing, and I've gotten better. Then I find you! MIND BLOWN! You make it so easy. I was looking for the Eric Clapton. You look Wonderful tonight riff and you made it again so easy! Now I'm showing off! " Hey look at me, I know the Clapton riff!" THANK YOU!!
I so enjoy seeing Maggie May in your videos. I had a poodle that would sit in my open guitar case while I played. I have a picture that is so cool. I've also been legally blind all my life and music is such a comfort to me. I always have a guitar near me in the house just in case I just want to relax and play. Your channel is so good.

After2 years of not playing i decided to go join a music project.. i played killing me softly, wich i never played.. next week: 3 little birds byBobMarley.. we will add a song every week..

Great videos my friend! I'm a 48yr old drummer of 38yrs of playing & taught myself some basic guitar, bass guitar, banjo, mandolin, ect at a young age so I could write & record my own unique music perspective, but never pushed myself to learn correct & simple yet moving cover songs on the acoustic guitar but always wanted to for camping, family stuff & now to play for my Grandchildren! I'm glad I stumbled open your channel!! Great simple explanation is what I need lol.
@@Relaxandlearnguitar I will mate. I'm a piano player originally, since I was 7 and taught myself the basics of the guitar when I was mid 30s ?? Somewhere around then. Anyway I taught myself some chords and the basics and notes etc, but life always took over as it does. As I'm older now though, I think people should always find time for things you love. We spend all our lives chasing and concentrating on the small stuff that we think is important at the time like money and material things. I lost both my parents just before Xmas though and it's made me think about just doing the things you love to do. We're not here for long. I'm teaching myself "Is there anybody out there" by Pink Floyd at the moment and it's coming together nicely. I'm going to see Roger Waters in Manchester on Saturday (June 10th 2023) so I'm looking forward to that. Last time I saw him was at the Wall tour in 2010/11 I think? Can't remember exactly, I go to lots of gigs and concerts. Anyway, sorry for writing an essay to say what I could of said in a few lines. I always go off on a tangent. 🙄

Thanks again. Blessings from Burnley, Lancashire.
I love to watch your guitar lessons because when you show how to play something like a chord on the guitar you show where to put the fingers to get that cord and others just say just do it in a g or a d they don't even show you where to put your fingers I'm trying my best to learn how to play the guitar I came from a family of players and at my age it's hard for me to learn I've already bought two guitars and can't even play them and my wife gets upset because I want another thank you for the video I really appreciate you

Hi Kevin, from Brasil, your lessons are good! I'm 60 and I learned a lot of things on your channel, especially the rhythm patterns that I have difficulty with. Thank you very much for teaching. God bless you!
Thank you sooo much for doing these videos!!! I've always said I wanted to play but I have never put forth the effort you know raising kids working living lol. So glad I found you! I started at 58, pandemic was in full force. I'm now 60 still hard at work in the learning process. Your lessons are perfect. Before I took up guitar I was a drummer. So rhythm is fair. Never thought I could do this, but I'm loving the struggle. Thank You
This is why you'll be successful wherever lifes highway takes you. Your not afraid to take chances! Being a west coast kid I figured you to be a 2nd basemen in softball
Wow that was fantastic thoroughly enjoyed it. The way you show your strumming pattern to counts and show each chord change bravo. Someone that we can finally understand. Thankyou so much. Also they are easy as I am level 1- to intermediate level. Start here and then I can start a harder strumming pattern. Look forward to more songs pls. Do you have Led Zeplin, Dire straits pink floydd pls. ❤
Thank you. I hope in future you put a whole line of chords so that we can anticipate and change the chord at the right time. Have to memorize otherwise. You displaying the changed chord when it happens gives no time to make the change at the right time (after 4th down strum, change, ready on first down strum of new chord).
I have an electric guitar but never learned to play, now I am stuck in a wheelchair so I am going to take time to try to learn, and it also may help with my hand dexterity after a TIA. Thanks for making the lessons easy and fun.
