@@CarlBaldassarreMusic You're welcome. Carl, I'm not sure hahaha, I have a hard enough time remembering them to give one! Btw, worded better I meant to say that your temperament is the type I'd look for in a teacher of any level as well but since it had the beginner theme & especially fits for frustration. My first teacher tried to take me through Mel Bay's Theory of Reading Music when I was a punk rock kid that didn't know what a 5th power chord was yet. 10 years later Greg Douglass(ex Steve Miller Band) started teaching in San Diego and he made it fun. So maybe Greg or Steve but Carl still sounds better. Cheers!
Great tutorial! That Strat (and your playing of it, of course!) really does a great job of recreating the sound of the original riffs. Can't wait to get all these riffs as smooth they are played here (new subscriber 🤘).

Great video; perfect for beginners like me, but it would have been nice to slow down and zoom in on the fretboard, so we can see what you’re doing. Sometimes you gloss over things and don’t say if the power chord used was in fourths or fifths. It’s interesting because I trained to write classical harmony and one of the big no-no’s is parallel fifths and octaves, but in rock music they’re everywhere!
