Thanks Andy, you have a way of keeping things simple while adding the fiddly bits or alternative chord shapes for those who want a bit more of a challenge. Enjoy your content.😊
Thank you! Please do more like this!
Love that you sing the chords, helps me understand where I’am ps really beginner so find these really helpful thanks Amdy
Thanks for Sharing!!!
Brilliant, thanks👍
This is a great video, thx.
What a fun video! I've been learning for two months and a half, and I'm confident with some chords (D, A, E, Am, Em, Dm). I'm also learning C and G now. I'll add some of the songs you put here to my to-do-soon list (sweet home Alabama, Jolene, and the first cut is the deepest). Thanks for sharing, Andy.
Great stuff, glad it helped!
Thanks for the help I appreciate it!!👍👌🎸
Brilliant cheers 🎵🎤💜🙏🏽
Great video, Andy 🤘 please keep up the great work with making awesome lessons for us, my friend 🙂 take care and stay safe 🤞👍
Thanks, will do my best! 🎸
Thanks, Andy. My favorite is Sweet Home Alabama, specially the riff. I miss doobie brothers "listen to the music", I think could be part of the list.
Great list of songs from the basic open chords which I can just about change between all of them. Can't believe there are so many songs with just these chords. Many thanks again 😊🎸
Andy bravissimo ❤
Thank you sir
⚓️ Thanks Andy 🌈
Great lesson! Thanks so much! :)
Glad you liked it!
Good video Andy.
You are incredible
When you played The Gambler, it reminded me of another 70s song, Kodachrome by Paul Simon.
Great vid ,
I love those 2 first songs The bellamy brothers, Alabama
Andy, eres fantástico.
Great song choices to have some fun for any player level. Can you do a video of Easy to play songs for John Cougar Mellencamp?
Thanks for all the videos, I have had a blast learning through watching them! For a chord like D, I am confused how you're supposed to strum it. You're only supposed to strum the bottom 4 chords, but in the videos it sometimes seems like you strum the bottom 4, and sometimes it seems like you strum all 6. I know you have mentioned using your thumb to mute the string, but every time I try that it doesn't sound anywhere near the way it sounds when I strum 4. I guess I am looking for advice on playing chords like that in the proper strumming pattern you are teaching. Thanks!
Thanks ❤❤🙋🙋🙋
Andy!! Please do a lesson for Highwayman by Glen Campbell 🙏
Cool Andy I like chords in sweet I just never done the lead riffs
You should! Some are easier than others and super fun to play
I Guess "Werewolves of London" has the same chord progression as "Sweethome Alabama". I would like a Tutorial of "Werewolves of London" please Andy! I also liked that top 10.
And blue on black
Great stuff 😂, great songs to play ▶️
Can you show us some open g tuning blues please on electric?
Thanks!
I like g d and a, I'm still trying to learn that ACDC song,
Sweet Home Alabama should always be played right after you play Southern Man by Neil Young! :)
You're damn right ❤😊
Is it one or two fingers that is comfortable to play hammer-ons?
I have a guitar but my fingers have no idea what I want them to do 🤷♂️
As a beginner myself, I promise itll work eventually if you train them, focus on technique and go as slow as you need. It will stick eventually, stay consistent.
Keep going you will get there! If it was easy everyone would play guitar 🎸
Keep working at it. A little bit every day.
😂😂thought it was just me
Start simple. To start with, just strum once on a G chord, then switch to a C chord and strum once. Go back and forth about 100 times. Slowly get faster. Keep practicing! :)
I like it, meaby 3 chord songs with finger picking 😊 please
Great idea! I'll see what I can do
Pretty sure "I Got You" by Split Enz only uses 3 chords too ?
👍Cool 😎 I'm also playing horse with no name 👍 Thanks Lee from WIGAN ❗
Hi Andy I did ask you if you could do a copy of brand new Cadillac by Vince Taylor 1959 in been at it for some time I just can,t get it write paul (kent)😂
1:18 - 4 beats of G major.
You did forget the F major coming out of the chorus.
I was surprised that Tom Petty's Free Falling wasn't on this list....... and then I realized that I am overly tired because that's a 1989 song LMFAO
Hi bro I'm from India 🇮🇳
Sir please do numb by marshmallow and khalid it is my favourite song but their is no proper video that i can find
Can you ten simple county songs
Sure thing, I'm on it!
I'm a believer by the Monkees
Check your diagram D/Fsharp
Ya like jazz 😏
Andy i have just started to learn guitar at 68 years old and i have enrolled inyour courses ,but just can not change emajor and major chords quick enough and its frustrating me.
A major
Hang in there. It seems impossible and that you just can’t do it….you can and will
Start doing three down strums then change to another chord , 3 down strums , then back to the first chord . / Cmajor down , down , down , then G major down , down , down / practice the same 2 chords untill you are comfortable with your chord changing skills . // Then practice 2 more chords the same way
3 chords? And you didn't Include Status Quo? Well I never🤣🤣🤣
Hmmm, there you go breaking all the rules. My son, a "professional " musician states that real songs have many complicated chords and at least 3 different and unique time signatures. If not they are just songs for stupid people who don't understand music...I am sure he is right because he has played in a bar for free a few times, and once they even gave him a coupon for a discount on a slice of pizza.
Lol 😏.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤘🏻
He's teaching people how to strum along to a song. In no way is this an instruction to play the guitar parts for these songs.
10/10 dad story construction, damning with faint praise is a personal favorite.
You can barre the A, but you still need to toughen up finger tips to play all the chords. Just sayin’
Nice guitar, what model is that? Thanks
Jolene
