Crystal you are absolutely amazing. You make me feel like I can crochet anything. Your teaching style is second to none! Thank you so much for all you do!
I used to watch your videos all the time. But, my shoulders were bad and I had to stop crocheting. Plus I was taking care of my husband. I've had both shoulders replaced and my dear husband of 50 years died before that. I'm ready to start back up and your channel is the first I resubscribed to.
I am convinced that I can do ANY stitch, as long as Crystal is teaching it! You have a true gift. No, it is not crocheting, although you are a master crocheter. Your gift is in teaching. You know how to explain and show the techniques. Thank you.
I truly enjoy your tutorials. I have difficulty sleeping and I end up crocheting. Even though I've been crocheting for 50 years there are still new patterns to learn.
You’re an awesome teacher. With all the tutorials I have watched, only you and Tiffany are my BEST BEST teachers. I have learned a lot from you. I just started this year and I learned a few stitch from you. And been crocheting alongside with you. Thank you so very very much and I will continue watching your videos. Again, thank you 🙏 😊😘🥰 so very very much….
Corner to Corner is NOT a stitch it’s the technique of working from corner to corner and can be accomplished with many different stitches. The tulip stitch also known as the slanting shell box stitch and many other names is the most popular at the moment. You can also C2C with the Linen stitch also known as the Moss stitch,Crystal actually has a tutorial for that as well.
I have been using this pattern since day one of my crochet journey! It’s been over 20 years and I’m still using it! It’s my go to for my baby shower blankets!
I want to thank you. I just started crocheting and this is the first pattern I have tried. I love your patterns. And they are easy for people who have had strokes . Thank you again for explaining everything in very simple terms .
Oooo that yarn is stunning in that stitch. I've been wanting to try something from ice yarns and that's it, one very colourful scarf coming up in that beautiful stitch, and a mermaid tail for my granddaughter.
I learned this at 8-9 years old! It's my favorite. I did it for years until about 4 years ago. I'm 59 now!!! Then I decided to learn other patterns and stitches. Great to see it out and about again. I've not seen it before now! Thanks!!
Crystal I just love how you show crocheting stitches you make anyone feel like they can do anything you give them confidence in them selves Barb wengert
When I was a young girl my neighbor tried to show me how to the fancy stitches but I couldn't get my mind around it. You explain it so well that it makes sense. Thank you so much. Now that I'm retired I have something to fill my time.
Love this pattern! It really shows off the Picasso. I did one cowl in the darker Rainbow 64627 and one in the lighter Rainbow 64626. I love them both. More Picasso needed. TY TY TY
You truly are so gifted Crystal. I would not have thought to finish this stitch off so nicely to put a border around it. Thank you Crystal so much. You are awesome and help me make my crocheting so much better.
Love that you show how to make it square on the end! I`ve used this stitch a few times and had to wing it on the ones that I wanted to square it,thanks!
Hi Crystal I love this stitch and this yarn. You have changed my life Crystal more than you will ever know. I am disabled and can't really do much but because of you I tried crocheting and now I feel like I'm useful again. I know that may sound silly but Thank you Crystal from the bottom of my heart. I absolutely adore you. God bless you and your family.
Crystal thanks so much for this , I started a throw a million yrs ago on a fan stitch and can't remember how to do it, this sort of reminds me of it. I tried this with a bamboo hook, not a fan, will be getting another easier to work with. Love these videos thank you!
I've been working on a scarf & ended up putting it on the back burner😏 I saw a video on UA-cam, but they called it the (Celtic Sitch) However, Thank U for sharing the technique on how to flatten the top Aaand adding the single crochet row before the repeat rows of the tulip stitch. ❤ Your teaching.
Hi from South Africa 🇿🇦 I've been looking for a quick easy stitch as I'm crocheting plarn sleeping mats for the homeless. This is a perfect stitch, works up quick and very easy to remember. It's also much softer and lighter in weight as the normal single crochet can make it very heavy. Keep well and thanks so much 👍
Thank you so much for making easy to follow videos! There are so many out there that are too complicated! I have made several of your projects and now I have started on this one. Thank you Crystal, you rock!!! ❤
Thank you for this tutorial! I have admired the tulip stitch for many years but did not know how to square the edges. Your instructions are so clear and easy to follow. I will get started right away!
Crystal, thank you so much for sharing this tutorial! My most favorite blanket I own is one that my late mother-in-law made for me for my first Christmas with my husband and their family. It's a beautiful blanket that I cherish, even more now that she is no longer with us. I learned some very minimal basics from my own mother when I was a little girl in regards to crocheting. After my mother-in-law suffered a stroke in early 2019, she asked me to finish a blanket she had started for my husband's nephew. I promised her I would, and unfortunately she passed a few months later in June of 2019. I spent late September into early December working on the piece that she had started, I had to improvise as I was not sure of her initial pattern/design, but I thrust myself into learning the stiches she intended for the blanket in order to make good on my promise to her. I created a large throw for our nephew, making "Nana's" portion of the blanket the "heart" of the project. Since then, I've acquired quite the yarn stash, I add to it when I find a good sale, and I've been wanting to make a blanket for our bed in our new home... just like the one my mother-in-law made for me. I had no clue what the stitch was or how to re-create it... Until now. This is it, this is the one, and I am so grateful for your tutorial! I'll be starting the blanket in a few weeks after finishing the blankets I am making for my children, and when I am finished, I will share photos of my mother-in-law's gift to me, and the blanket I make for my husband and I to share. Thank you again for creating these tutorials and making them so easy to follow and re-create! Gotta go, time to start hookin'!
I appreciate you beyond words, I have literally crocheted since I was 8, taught by a friend of my moms, and a lot of self taught, I am a cancer survivor, and lo and behold I forgot a lot about crochet, if I find a pattern now that I'd love to make if I can't follow the person doing the tutorial, which is majority of the time I search for you to be teaching the same pattern with out me having problems following you. I can not thank enough for NOT having annoying music in the back ground, don't get me wrong I love music. Just not in the tutorials. new subscriber , long time watcher.
I’m new to the crochet game about 2 months now. I have already learned so much from you. Your teaching is great!! Thank you!! This is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I can’t wait to try it.
I love this stitch, I have now used it for several scarves for family. I am also adding it to blanket I am making with many different stitch squares. Thank you for a very easy tutorial to follow.
I love this. I have some variegated cotton to make a table runner and have been undecided as to the stitch, being a beginner. This I think will be lovely. Thank you.
Crystal - thank you for your easy to understand instructions! I never knew how easy it is to crochet!! I work with a cat rescue agency and since watching your how to videos - I have been making cuddle mats for the kitties beds. They look great and the kitties love them. Your teaching style is wonderful! I’m so glad I discovered your videos!
I absolutely love this stitch and yarn. I bought the same yarn just to make this. I do have a recommendation...... if you're using a smaller hook (I'm using a 4mm) don't do 3 chains after adding the stitch to the next tulip. Mine wasn't turning out as well and had to change it to only 2 chains. Also had to change it to 2 chains on the ends. The rest I did it as you said.
Such a gorgeous stitch and yarn! Like the others have said, it does remind me of a C2C. Like a lot! But without the fuss. Thx for another great tutorial! You are a walking Stitchopedia! 😂😂😊👍🏻🧶
Thanks so much for this tutorial! I started a baby blanket and wasn’t happy with the way the pattern was coming out because the yarn is striped like the one you used. I frogged it and did this pattern instead. Now I’m happy with the baby blanket I’m making!😘😘😘
Hi Crystal, Your yarn is so pretty I like all the different colors. Perfect for Spring. Thank you for sharing the stitch. Have a good night Take care & Stay Safe. Love the Bod Family ❤️
I’ve learned to crochet this past 18 months using your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your talent. I have just made a cushion cover (I think in USA you call it a pillow) using this tulip stitch, it looks fabulous. Thank you
Crystal, I absolutely love this pattern. This yarn makes it so gorgeous. I have saved this and I am going to look for the perfect yarn the next time I’m out. However, I have a feeling I’m going to be making a purchase of the exact same yarn that you used in the video. This is just stunning in this stitch.
that is just beautiful. I can easily see how to make a cardigan with this stitch, just have to figure out how one would decrease this stitch for sleeves more fitted. Thanks Crystal, lovely work as usual!
A video of yours showed up as a recommended video. I wish I found your videos before I started a baby blanket. I'm bored, but I want to just get it done. Maybe I will need to make a second blanket for the baby.
I love this video. I recently learned the little tulip stitch and I will try this one now. I know that with you teaching I will be able to accomplish this. Thank you so much.
Good morning, Crystal! Gorgeous yarn & stitch. For years this would’ve intimidated me & I’d never attempt it, but subscribing to great teachers like yourself has made it a breeze. Thank you so much! Love, from the Great State of Oklahoma, USA 🤍
I love this stitch! It looks a lot like C2C but not as fiddly. I’m soooooo glad you repeat the steps a lot because my husband kept talking to me and I missed one! 🙄😂😂😂 Thank you, Crystal! ❤️
I can't wait to make this for my lovely granddaughter. It is beautiful 😍 like her. Thank you for being you and sharing with everyone so we can share beauty with the ones we love. Thank you. Carolyn Stiltz
I was looking for what to do with Picasso yarn - I have some but never knew it could be so beautiful in a crochet project! I was just using it for toys. Thank you for your tutorial!
I am making this for my very first project and so far am loving it, I’m using 8 ply and it’s nice and thick. Looks so professional, almost like I know what I’m doing LOL.

Yes she does! She is the queen of crochet!❤️
Corner to corner is one of my favorite stitches and this is how to do the "blocks" in a row and I am all for it! I learn SO MUCH on this channel.

Going onto the top of the chain three space makes such a polished stitch and the cockers are gorgeous!
Love this easy stitch. I like the jagged edge for a scarf and throw. On my to do list. Thanks for a great tutorial.
Love this pattern! It really shows off the Picasso. I did one cowl in the darker Rainbow 64627 and one in the lighter Rainbow 64626. I love them both. More Picasso needed. TY TY TY
I love the Picasso yarn. This is a great stitch. Thanks Crystal. 🙋🏼♀️💜🇨🇦

Love this stitch! I think I may make a long oblong shawl of it and leave the edge triangular. :)
Making a blanket with this stitch now with Ice Yarns Picasso in blue tones. Lovely! Thank you Crystal!!
I bought that yarn and I'm going to make a scarf now! This pattern is beautiful! Thank you!

I made a blanket and matching pillow in this stitch back in the 70s. The instructions are long gone, so I’m really happy you posted this!
