This is the first time I've seen your tutorial. Very nice, clear instructions and speed. The Tipped Scale Project caught my attention. At 80 years old, learming new stitches is so much fun, so after watching a few minutes, I subscribed. Looking forward to more! Great job!! Thank you and God Bless you❣
I'm having so much fun learning new stitches at 59 years old. Since I can't read a pattern after crocheting for 47 years, it's like having a whole new world of crocheting opening up to me with these video tutorials. Blessings to you and yours!
This is really a beautiful stitch. I would love to make a long vest using this stitch which is relatively easy to crochet. Thank you for sharing your expertise .
Absolutely gorgeous colors and stitches. You've showcased another yarn that would immediately catch my eye but would be afraid to buy and made the most beautiful rainbow scales!
By the time you had made this video, I was about a year into a shoulder injury that started making crochet nearly impossible. I couldn't knock out a row without my shoulder being on fire for the next couple of days. So, I put it down. I'd try again in a few months only to experience the same pain, but I kept on trying. Lo and behold, a few weeks ago, I discovered that I could crochet again without going through all that. I'm taking it slowly, but so far so good. I really love the yarn you're using, but I have so much here that I need to use it before buying more. I'm just glad I can do this again. This pattern is fantastic, and thank you so much for doing the tutorial.
This is gorgeous to do in two colors, changing every row...makes it look like two blankets...different on each side! I'm working on one now...one side is solid, the other is color changing! Wish I could post a pic!
@Shell R thank you soooo much for that idea! I have 20 balls of grey acrylic (don't ask why because it was a really bad idea)... But I do want to make this blanket and have about the same amount of Patons Sierra (Aus). You are the best Shell and Crystal. x
I love the idea! I have to go through my yarn drawer and see what I've got. I can't justify getting any more yarn until I finish some projects, and this sounds like a great one. I liked the stitch before, but love the bi-color idea!
I made a small square using this beautiful stitch, just to see if I could do it, using your tutorial even as a fairly new crotcheer I was able do do it, great tutorial, beautiful stitch.
WOW!!! I haven't even watched the video yet but I want to make this in the same yarn you're using. It looks spectacular! Now that I've watched it, I can see how the scales would create air pockets to trap the warmth. This would make a great scarf, cowl, or blanket.
I think I can do this, (77 yrs old and not very experienced ) thanks for crystal clear explanation and not too much to remember all at one time. (love row repeats). Thank you so much.
That is such a cool stitch!! I have never seen that before nor have I ever seen a double triple crochet!! I love it! Learn something new every day!! Thank you Crystal!!
I love doing the crocodile stitch so this a wonderful take on that pattern. Can’t wait to compare it with my crocodile scarf. Using your favorite yarn, red heart unforgettable!! Thank you Crystal.
I watch your tutorials all the time and I don't get tired of watching them they're so great I'm a beginner but yet I've been for quite a while I never made my children any blankets because I didn't know how way later on I learned but little by little I'm learning every time enjoy your tutorials and God bless you
I enjoy your stitch tutorials. Even more with beautiful colors of yarn. It’s like watching a rainbow develop. Too bad Ice yarns has crazy shipping charges. Thanks again Crystal.

I just came back to the comments for this. This is what yarn from a sheared unicorn would look like. It would also smell like Skittles and be as soft as a cashmere goat fresh from the salon.
Crystal,I forgot to add,I love this new stitch you are showing and I am doing it now, making a baby blanket.I want to get some of the yarn you are using. Thanks again!
This is, again, another ‘save’ for me! My long time neighbor just lost her hubby of 48 yrs and I wanted to make her a comfort shawl, but not a lacy one, it’s not her style. However, THIS stitch is just her style! Hugs to You and the Family from us in South Jersey!
Again another tutorial that is very well explained. I am going to tell my sister in law about you. She likes to try new stitches as do I. Have a wonderful day and God bless you richly.
