I am not new new but still learning stuff started back around covid went to a class and then had to stop bc they closed down bc if covid then i moved to another part of Louisiana. I was 64 when i started learning. Made my first blanket from a video with melanie ham. Then the class and made an afghan. I love crocheting! Calming!! ❤
Nice! You made a hat a couple of months ago called "Everything But The Kitchen Sink". When I finally get around to making a stitch sampler blanket with all the wonderful stitches you're showing us, it's gonna be called, "Sink Included" 🤣
I love this! These are what I call mind numbing stitches. I have low vision with eventual blindness. I can crochet this without looking at it and really without thinking about it. Thank you so very much! ❤❤❤
Absolutely loving this stitch. Currently using this stitch to make a number of throws for my corner sofa. It’s so therapeutic to work once you get a rhythm going. One of the best things about it is how straight the edges come out! Thank you Crystal for a great stitch tutorial ❤
You are such a good teacher! You also make your tutorials funny , entertaining and like a nice friendly chat session. I find everything I could possibly want to make on your site. Thank you ❤
After a year of afghans made with row after row of double crochet, I’ve started to try some new stitches. Thank you for your patient tutorials. I’m having a blast
Crystal, you have the best stitch tutorials on the planet. This is one of those mindless stitches that can be used when watching tv. Thanks to the stitch tutoral Queen. Aka Crystal. Wishing you and yours Happiness, Health and peace.
All the benefits of double crochet while still being interesting. Thanks!! Crystal's new scale of see-through is right up there in greatness with yarn-eater scale. 💜🥰
I am 80 an I have just achieved to do crushing. I have tried all my life and I couldn’t do it and one morning I woke up and said right this is it I’m going to do it and this is my first month of crocheting. I’m doing granny squares at the moment, but I want to do the one that you’ve just told the video in. You are such a great teacher and I love it so I am going to watch you all the time now. I think I will be able to do that double double something stitch. I can’t remember what you said but I’m gonna give it ago. Thank you so very much for your video. I love it and I’ll watch you all the time now I live in Australia and my name is Stephanie❤💖💕💖
Love this stitch! Thanks Crystal! I am challenging myself to do an afghan (lapghan) for charity, 1 for each month, so am looking for 12 fast and easy patterns. This will definitely be one of them!
I’m loving the new series of stitch combos! Bonus points for shorter videos. I’m all for a full length tutorial but can’t keep up with several new videos longer than a half hour dropping so often. Mixing up the short and longer ones is great because I do truly want to support by watching the full videos.
Hello Crystal, I love your videos. I have learned so much from you. You are so right, this stitch looks so beautiful and can’t wait to get started on a blanket with it. Thank you.
I'm crocheting along with the video, pausing as needed. This is going to be a scarf for my aunt. She has COPD, and this should help during this Midwestern winter. Thanks, Crystal! ❤
I just joined, and I can’t tell you how happy I am that I found you. You explain everything beautifully. I am 73 years old now and I’m having a hard time following patterns even though I’ve been crocheting since I was a little girl. Thank you I’m so happy I found you.
I made this! Finally made a dish cloth with texture and my rows are even and square. Thank you for this stitch. Making these for the cottage. MIL loved evergreen green; that is what I am doing in her honor.
About the time I think I’ve landed on what’s next on my list, here comes a beautiful stitch tutorial like this and the star stitch. The great thing about this one is I know I can do it, and this will give me confidence on the dc3tg I only wish I was a speedy crocheter! Lord this is pretty!! Thanks!
Nice, i like 1 row repeats for blankets, I tend to make alot of them, my family live the north not far from the Canadian border and in winter we get blizzards and temperatures can go below zero and if power gies out you'd better have plenty of blankets to cover with. We get alot of snow here, it helps to have more than one way for heat and cooking but sometimes that extra is n i t has warm as primary one is
I am always amazed that you teach these stitches in a way that makes them so easy! I have tried a few others that I have ended up being so frustrated. I will continue to follow and learn from your videos! Thanks again!
Thanks Crystal!!! I’m doing a sweater right now that has a 3dc together and I always have to make sure I did 3 instead of 2. I do love that this gives a solid fabric. Hope you have a great day.❤
Amazing how a simple double crochet stitch can be made to look so lovely. Thank you so much for your help, Crystal. You put so much effort into your patterns and videography. Your teaching and encouragement are such an inspiration for me. I really like your hat patterns and think this stitch would look nice in a hat. Any suggestions for doing it in the round? Multiples?
I have a hooded scarf I am going to be making but I've been holding off, deciding on a stitch. I think i just found it! 😊 Thank you Crystal! Your tutorials are awesome. You're an amazing teacher and I'm so thankful that you share your knowledge with us. ❤ Thank you!
@paulasiefert2059 I don't have an actual pattern written out, just my scribbles that I use lol. I don't mind writing it up though. Give me a few days :)
Love it. Yet another great tutorial. Thank you Crystal. You are thee best teacher. I have increased my crochet skills exponentially since I started following you these past 3+ years. Thank you.
Crystal, you did it again for me! I need the stitch so badly, end it will probably become one of my new go to stitches for so many projects. Thanks so much, Crystal, for another amazing tutorial!
I just learned how to do the fillet stitch from Juan last night and I already got the hang of it 😊now I have 2 new stitches lol thanks I’m loving it 😊😊 😊
I love this tutorial I'm going to use this stitch to make a blanket for my grandson. Thank you for all of your wonderful tutorials. Stay warm and safe.
I love simple-but-pretty stitches, and patterns that are fast to make are even better! I’m thinking this would be nice on a pullover worked side-to-side to make a vertical stripe pattern. Will have to dig into my stash and see if any yarn is calling to me to use with this pattern. ❤
Wow, if i miss a stitch like I'm bound to do at some, might as well hang up the hook and yarn and just give it up lol. Great tutorial young lady. I might just make a blanket with this stitch. Tyfs God bless you
Ive got pattern after pattern after pattern of yours to someday try. They are all so beautiful. I cant wait to try this one. I lost my crojo several months ago and its been really hard for me to pick it up again. Maybe this stitch and making a quick throw will get me back in to it. Love you and your channel. Thank you
Crystal this is sherry.my phone is on Greg's name.I wanted to say I always enjoy your tutorials.you go slow and and explain very well .I want to thank you for that .,,I would like to see another video of your family and animals.I always enjoy that too. Thanks for showing.,,😊

Totally agree I love Crystal sincerity and her caring ways....She makes one want to grab your hook and make create something. Everything she❤ makes is very affordable so that a plus...And her enthusiasm is contagious😅😊just love her kindness. Weather you are a beginner or a seasoned crocheter; She makes you feel like You can do it just iike if just like She can😅....Very Special Young Lady...God bless her and her Precious Family😊❤❤❤❤
Thank you Crystal for another easy to follow crochet tutorial. That’s such a pretty blanket. I’ll definitely crochet blankets & scarves using this stitch. 💗🧶💗
Cool! I'm always looking for a more solid stitch. I like herringbone DC for that reason. But I might have to use this for my husband's hoodie I was gonna make him. I was thinking of doing plain dc and then alpine stitch on the shoulders for a bit of added warmth but I think I'll use this stitch instead of plain dc's. Thanks Crystal! ❤
Thank you, Crystal! I have been also trying to match the stitches you teach to the diagrams in my crochet books. My goal is to be able to read diagrams, but sometimes the stitches have other names so I have not matched one yet. I will look for this one after it becomes easy for me. That will be several rows. Then I will frog it and go look in my books. If you find a diagram that matches what you are demonstrating, could you include it with a still shot so we can pause and look? My books are from thrift finds online as well as newer publications. Thanks for all you give us!
I always learned so much from your tutorials you make me feel like I can do anything. Thank you so much Crystal for all you do. This is a pretty cool Stitch also. Sorry I have to say the same thing because they're all pretty. I will practice tomorrow, not sure which one I will do but I will be practicing these stitches tomorrow I'm going to say the star will be it. Then some of the other ones. Much love 🤎🤎🤎🤎
Crystal, this is a pretty stich I can't wait to try it, I've been looking for a pattern so I can make my granddaughter a blanket, she's 14 and I'm sure she will love it. ❤️
I love you and your channel! You have taught me so much. I give your channel info to friends who want to learn. You always make me smile/laugh! Love the stitch scale 😊. Thank you for all you do. ❤️

I love this! These are what I call mind numbing stitches. I have low vision with eventual blindness. I can crochet this without looking at it and really without thinking about it. Thank you so very much! ❤❤❤
I don't know why, but at first glance, this reminded me of the lines in green grass after it has been freshly mowed. Beautiful stitch.
Absolutely loving this stitch. Currently using this stitch to make a number of throws for my corner sofa. It’s so therapeutic to work once you get a rhythm going. One of the best things about it is how straight the edges come out! Thank you Crystal for a great stitch tutorial ❤
