It's pretty cool! I'm working on a website and would like to add an animated background with a lava lamp effect, similar to this. I'd like to keep the glowing effect, but I'd like the bubbles to be more blob-like instead of perfectly round. Do you know how to change the circles to slightly noisy forms ?

@flouksac4269 You can add a displacement to the material, a noise texture with big scaling which can be also animated. Alternatively, metaballs have other shapes like capsules.

Didnt work for me , my Mballs didnt act as Mballs but rather as a normal mesh clipping on into each other, downloaded the file you provide but its also broken ( nothing in sight) I think an update that they made changed rules that we dont quite know yet.

I am trying to figure out a way for it to work in the new versions. So far it works for static metaballs but no animation.
