I had the very same pop-out/poor connection issue with mine. After I got it installed I decided the benefits of the visor were not worth the difficulties it created. Rather than "carve" on it to get better fit I returned mine for refund. Seller said he had seen others with this problem. Berley Pro really needs to look at this design, given the booming popularity of Garmin and Livescope.
@@TrophyFish yes there are a couple of youtubers out there making them out of Kydex and heat guns, fastening them on with velcro. They look simpler, cheaper, and more effective.
can i ask you I have the same gps unit and the berley pro they sent me is larger. it says on the sticker it is for garmin 9 series but it looks so big and the holes dot line up any ideas? The model number is BP2505 but it is way bigger than the unit
itsrecording Definitely not too big. I'd personal go with the 10 inch 1024xsv over the 93sv Plus. The processor and resolution is too low on the 93. The 1024 is a MUCH faster unit and the resolution is way higher. It's not touch screen, but I find the buttons easy to use so I don't miss that part. The extra inch gives you a lot more real estate too so you can do a 4 panel view with ease.
@@TrophyFish thanks for the reply - that's a nice unit but it's nearing double the price w/ a transducer - deciding between the 73sv 93sv and hds-7 live
@@itsrecordingman Understood. Depends on you budget and your need. I needed maps thats loaded faster. The 93 loads maps super slow especially when you zoom in and out. Sucks when you're trying to get over a brushpile or whatever.
alex carter I have another vid on my channel showing the 1st setup. I’ll do a new video today with the new setup. I’ve added UHD as well. Look for it soon.
@@TrophyFish where is the video of the install for the Berley Pro visor? I want to know if there’s screws for the bezel in the front for a echomaps uhd 93sv. I don’t want to break it if there is screws.

100% agreed. I don't use one today because of this. I think I'll try 3D printing my own

It's been a long time since I messed with one. Sorry, I don't remember much about it.
and it does not fit into the opening right
do you find this screen size to be a good fit for the pa14 ? or is it too big and in the way of things while fishing ?

@@2QuikKk I'm not sure. I ditched mine when I had my 93. I hated it.
@@TrophyFish I had to trimmed the part where the release is at for the housing off. Where you were showing on your video.
@@2QuikKk For what that thing costs, you shouldn't have to. But if that worked, good!
I use cardboard lol
Seems like its junk
tacticool Bassn I didn’t care for it at all.
