VARMS Aerotow 12 Oct 24. Another Great Day

Theme for the day? Crosswind. From the east. So: there were thermals but they would pass over the western boundary into the "NO GO" zone pretty fast. To find one way off to the east, (into the wind) would cost all but the biggest gliders lots of altitude. A day full of challenges. But of course, most of us had fun. A couple of new planes, and a few high flights for the lucky ones. But most of all, sunshine, and a bit of warmth. Lovely.
