- In this video, I go over an honest review of the Spartacus 2 Baitcaster that I recently picked up from KastKing. I gotta say the overall feel of this reel as well as the color in my opinion is amazing, especially for the price! I look forward to using this reel as my main bass fishing reel whenever I go pond hopping. I'm curious to see how this reel holds up to the general wear and tear I'm going to put on it. For being under $50 you can't beat this reel!

I know a few spots that are 🔥 here in Jax. A few near the airport area, one or two on the Westside and my favorite go to spot Is on the Southside near the Avenues Mall. This spot he's at looks familiar just can't put my finger on it.
Yes sir, there are a couple descent little spots there in that Westside Industrial Park off Pritchard. One of my favorite spots is on the North side though, just off of Alta Drive.

@@j.w.crawford_554 yes sir. I love the one in front of the Amazon warehouse off Alta. Have caught several 4 to 5 pounders there. Last time I was there about a month ago I was run off by JSO, he said it was private property. Gonna try it again tomorrow.

I use this same reel for catfish I put 50 lb braid on it which is the same diameter as 12 lb monofilament so I get about 110 yards of 50 lb braid on it. And it handles everything perfectly and it casts like a dream the only difference is I have the stryker green color.
How much line did you spool on? Also what pound test? Great video!

are you right or left handed? i am right handed so should i normally have the handles on the left side like you did?
I'm right handed. I prefer the handles on the left side so i can control the action of the rod with my dominant hand.
@@904Fishinghaving the handle on the opposite side of your casting hand makes it so you don't have to switch hands when you reel back in . Before Kastking came along " left handed" baitcaster reels were a ton now expensive than righties so we righties just switched hands while the lure was on its way to the target or just switched hands after . Switching after takes away the ability to hook a quick strike as the fish strikes while in between hands .

sorry if this is late but you would probably be most comfortable with them on the right. I'm right handed and have used left and right handed baitcasters and I much prefer right handed ones.
