  • Are you having trouble getting your Gelli Plate to behave correctly? It may be that you haven't mastered how much paint to use. This video will show you what happens if you use too little, too much or just the right amount of paint. It will help you to trouble shoot your own practise and recognise what little tweaks you can make to improve how your gelli plate prints.

Thank you for teaching. Needed the lessons for cleaner, crisper prints.

Excellent basics on learning to get the paint right. Would love to see one about when to use matte paint, when to use heavy body, what flow style paint is good for and not, what paints help lift better and which dont. And as another idea, the same sort of basics re which papers work best for what. Not necessarily in-depth ones, just ones like this that help clearing some of the early confusions for beginners.

Wow your lace one was fantastic btw! Love how u explain everything, loved the roller one too, i made some the other day but toulet paper rolls werent strang enuff really so was super helpful when i saw u using cling film rollers, much better idea!! New subscriber now and cant wait for your next video. Loving all these different ways to use the gelliplate! Want to make art with it u know?! Thabks again from London uk! Maybe a video using different papers? I get a bit confused with all the different sort of rice and deli papers, are they good because they make good collage fodder or are they esp good for pulling gelli prints?!

I'm looking forward to attending one of your Melbourne workshops and will be watching out for the dates to be released. Can you please tell me where you purchased the colour mixing chart behind you? or is that your own creation? The one i have isn"t nearly as stylish as that>
