Led Zeppelin again, and again and always great👍 let's face it Robert sounds great, there's nothing that Zeppelin does that isn't Grand.😂 Peace✌️and Love❤️ your 70 year old forever Young Hippie Gary😊 Great Reaction👍 keep them coming😅
Zeppelin catalog of songs are gonna live well beyond our years. Enjoy it , to all the next generations of Zep fans. There's will never be again a band like them.😂
I truly believe that of all the reaction channels I've watched, you two give the purest reactions. It could just be your style, but I enjoy watching you two.
It’s hard for everyone to describe how their music makes us feel, all we know is we love it, & want more. Songs for every mood you feel, that’s because they put so much passion into everything do do, not all musicians (bands) do that.
Even as a life-long fan....Zeppelin NEVER cease to get you. It's like, oh, I know this beauty, they're gonna get spellbound here ...and then I end up pinned to the wall, yet again. Great reaction, guys, as always. Love your Zep journey.
Thanks for doing my pick! Another acoustic gem!… It’s been many many years since I’ve read about it, but the original lyric was the boy next door. I believe that Robert‘s parents didn’t want him playing with the boy because he was Indian… My memory may be failing on that, but regardless another facet of Led Zeppelin! Love that you love it!❤
Robert fell in love with a woman with Indian heritage, Maureen Wilson, which may be what you are thinking about. He married her when he was quite young, that is before Led Zeppelin. The marriage fell apart soon after the band dissolved. Whether there was any family issues I do not know but Robert does not appear to have been estranged from his parents. He has talked about taking his father to an LZ concert. Both Robert and Maureen came from middle class backgrounds. Robert's father was a civil engineer and Maureen's father owned a steel factory.
@@davidcarter4247 yes they were together about 2 years before they married, they married on November 9,1968, he had turned 20 on August 20th. I’m not saying that was the case, but could have been some inspiration. Things were like that back then, & yes for awhile he was estranged from his family. They both came from decent wealth family’s, it doesn’t mean they approved of who he fell in love with. Who knows, just a thought.
@@sicotshit7068 There are suggestions online that Robert was more enamoured with Shirley, who was Maureen's little sister. Shirley was with him when he appeared in court on drug charges in 1967 or 68. She would have been maybe 14 or 15. It has been claimed that Shirley is the "I've got a little schoolgirl and she's all mine" in How Many More Times and the forbidden love in What Is and What Shall Never Be. Plant and Shirley had a child together after his divorce from Maureen.
No, I think you’ve got it. THANK YOU, Ed for that request! I knew they would love it. The acoustic guitar melodic line is just so damn beautiful and flowing And then he marries a woman of Indian descent. Or was she Romany? I cannot recall.
I had to watch your reaction to this once again. I love the song, and your reactions are always a great time for me. You are both so priceless with your feelings and impressions.
I was at this concert 18 years old and completely mashed!! Oh carefree lost youth !!!.. 'How can thee forsake me' ??..... 'Mate you've just got old , don't sweat it ' !!........
Wonderful ballad. You likely know this but Page wrote all their music, Plant all their lyrics. For the studio version, Page played a couple of acoustic guitars, pedal steel guitar, dulcimer and bass guitar. Jones played mandolin. I love live but listeners can miss out on so much if they don't also listen to studio versions. There is no way the guys could play during live performances all the instruments that they played during recordings. Nice reaction, thanks! :) Edit: As an aside, although Page can play a bass guitar quite well, he usually didn't since Jones was such a great bass player. The reason Page ended up playing bass on the studio version is that by the time he was ready to record the bass, Jones had gone home so Page had to play it himself.
Zeppelin is my favorite band. They detest being called a hard rock band. Too much diversity. Hardest rock band? Black Sabbath. Judas Priest. AC/DC. Not Zeppelin. They have some hard rock SONGS. But they are not defined by that
Oh WOW i know i know i say it ALL the time BUT this is one of THE most **BEST** reactions EVER!!! You two i luv how you say you dont know how to express in words what you are feeling BUT you so DO!!! cuz man i get IT everything you were saying especially YOU **Dominika** every word you said is how i am feeling whenever i listen to them & i swear it is THAT **Trance** state i am always talking about & to me it is consistent in every song of theirs whether it is the ones that as you said swirl you around & make your heart beat fast to the more slow ones they ALL put me in that **Trance** gawd i just feel so very **Lucky** & **Thankful&Grateful** that i found you two way back when just always such a **Joy** & a **Delight** to my day when i watch you two listening to my MOST **Luvd & Cherished** MOST **Magical** Band to ever grace this planet a true pure **Gift** & **Treasure** to US! Thank YOU once again for making my day **Brighter** SO much **Love** to you **Both**
Hi zeppelins last album in through the out door the last song on the album is in my top 3 of all zeppelin songs a great song but sad to think the last song they ever did anyway the song I'm gonna crawl. As touching as the song thank you
Hey Andre, Domenica, I might be wrong, but I don't think you've reacted to Led Zep's Kashmir yet. I usually recommend live versions, but for this song, the studio version is the one! I have read that Robert Plant thought this song was the one he would like the band to be most remembered for. It is truly Epic!
Da goats. He changed it to 'the girl next door'. Originally it was the boy next door who was going to let his hair hang down, a sign of rebellion back then.
I think this was on The Song Remains the Same movie. If you haven't already seen it, you should burn one, crank it up so the neighbors can sing along, and enjoy it.
Oooh! Thanks for this one. I was actually at this concert and it still stands out clear in my memory. P.S. - Still no Louis Armstrong and Saint James Infirmary ?
It's all of theseasyers combined. That why the ended it after Bonham. They could not go on this way without all the pieces in place. Sad but true. btw , love this channel. Y'all are smart and insightful.
I don't know when Robert changed the lyrics, but the studio version is about a boy instead of a girl. Changing that one word changes what people think the song is about.
Maybe that’s the point too, you shouldn’t be limited to who your friends or who you love are. As a female, some of my greatest friendships have been with males, different ages races & sexual orientation & platonic. Even as an adult married almost 40 years, my husband knows I have close friendships with men, some since childhood. Yes it’s also about the environment, when people were getting more interested in protecting it. All in all a great song about issues at the time.
May I recommend two songs by Crosby, Stills, and Nash? Thank you. "Teach Your Children" ua-cam.com/video/EkaKwXddT_I/v-deo.html "Wasted On the Way" ua-cam.com/video/LUccF58bgwY/v-deo.html
Indeed, the best band ever.
I never miss an L.Z. reaction! The GOATS
Led Zeppelin is The Way.
Yes. This is the way
They were magical! Zep can take us places that we didn't know existed. After well over 50 years, listening to them never gets old
Was in the audience for that night and the other 4 gigs at Earls Court, each one better than the last....a week I'll never forget.
Thanks for more Led Zeppelin ❤
Loved this song when I first found Zeppelin when I was a kid.
you always interpret zeppelin so well, love your reactions, beautiful people.

I was at this concert Earls Court 1975 aged 21 now at 70 this year it still will always live long in my memory
I remember in around 1970 when I bought Led Zep 3, and loving this song, as I still do.
I truly believe that of all the reaction channels I've watched, you two give the purest reactions. It could just be your style, but I enjoy watching you two.

Such a beautiful song and no John Bonhams drums required says it all! they cannot do no wrong! great reaction once again so sincere thanks 😊
One of my favorites Zeppelin III is one of their best imo "Tangerine" is another banger off this album
Great song for cruising the back roads.
Love this Song thanks for your reaction

Plant’s wife is from India, maybe his parents weren’t to crazy about him marrying her, I don’t know just a thought.

🔥Led Zeppelin 🔥
Great song. Good reaction
Another great one from their 3rd album ❤❤

'How can thee forsake me' ??.....
'Mate you've just got old , don't sweat it ' !!........
So So many songs from them. I listen to at least one song or two a day and you get to choose what song for that day on how you feel.
In the light
This is a top 10 Zep song for me. And this performance is legendary.
Just when you thought you've heard it all from Zeppelin, listen to "Fool in the Rain." You will love it!
Thank you two for sharing your journey. 🙏❤️
THE MORE YOU LISTEN TO THIS SONG, UR GONNA START TO SING WITH IT. GUARANTIED.
AN ALL TIME FAVOURITE FOR ME. ROCK ON 👊🖖

It's hard to believe that we are listening to the absolute hardest Rock group in history !!!!!!! It's what make them so great and so special ... :)
They are not “Hard Rock”…Oy Vey…you don’t know anything about Zeppelin! 🤨
Zeppelin is my favorite band. They detest being called a hard rock band. Too much diversity.
Hardest rock band? Black Sabbath. Judas Priest. AC/DC. Not Zeppelin. They have some hard rock SONGS. But they are not defined by that
Magnificent!
Complete Dipstick. Zeppelin is a religion not a hard rock band.
Thank you for the reaction. Its time to do Achilles last stand!!! Best reactions to the best band ever.
Hi guys ! Such an under rated song. But I liked it so much, that I play it live. The studio version is great too
thanks so much for your thoroughly erudite and adult reactions to the music that I love. and for the wonderful chemistry between you both.
Oh WOW i know i know i say it ALL the time BUT this is one of THE most **BEST** reactions EVER!!! Gorgeous ✨️🎶👑🎶✨️
Hi guys. I was there. May 1975. Try the live video of “ Trampled Underfoot” from the same concert!!
❤Robert sitting down so I can gaze upon him ❤
I’m going to make a confession, I’ve always loved to listen to Zeppelin in a dark room, roll a fatty and and let go of all my thoughts 🤫
Every time I hear this track, I feel transported to a past age. Almost Tolkien?
John Paul Jones. So talented!!
My favorite Zeppelin song of all time.
In the words of Ed, 'you must, you must' listen to the studio recording of this too! Please! x
Hi zeppelins last album in through the out door the last song on the album is in my top 3 of all zeppelin songs a great song but sad to think the last song they ever did anyway the song
I'm gonna crawl. As touching as the song thank you
I'M GONNA CRAWL....... EXCELLENT SLOW BLUES SONG..... ONE OF MY FAVORITE ZEP SONGS!!!!!

Da goats. He changed it to 'the girl next door'. Originally it was the boy next door who was going to let his hair hang down, a sign of rebellion back then.
I think it was changed so Americans wouldn't interpret the lyric as about being gay.
I think this was on The Song Remains the Same movie. If you haven't already seen it, you should burn one, crank it up so the neighbors can sing along, and enjoy it.
D' yer Mak'er- Led Zeppelin
Oooh! Thanks for this one. I was actually at this concert and it still stands out clear in my memory.
P.S. - Still no Louis Armstrong and Saint James Infirmary ?
Give John Paul Jones any instrument and he can play it superbly
It's all of theseasyers combined. That why the ended it after Bonham. They could not go on this way without all the pieces in place. Sad but true. btw , love this channel. Y'all are smart and insightful.

JPJ Playing the bass pedals
Try "thank you" live version❤
And they were relatively young at this point
Again : strange that JPJ on mandolin isn't filmed as much as Robert or Jimmy…
May I recommend two songs by Crosby, Stills, and Nash? Thank you.

I have liked your reactions for quite a while and am subscribed. I must tell you that lately you are reaction to totally obscure garbage.
But all that lives is born to die
JPJ doesn't get the credit he deserves
