It satisfies me a lot to see two grown old men, who obviously overcame their differences and made peace with each and every quarrel they had in their past. That's simply beautiful. A true friendship .

Here's the problem. Art had one of the greatest voices on the planet. Paul could never deal with that.

Most of the songs that Paul Simon wrote have the highest quality in terms of lyrics and musically Simon & Garfunkel will be forever in our hearts .

When artist, voice, music, melody, and text fit all together, then it feels like heaven.
May sister devil who talked all her life about following Jesus and therefore never cared for mum and finally killed mum for the money, burn in hell forever.

What makes them so fantastic, is the fact that they sound just as good live as they do in the studio. Much unlike...90%....of today's "musicians".

This video came on autoplay while i was smoking at a friend's house. I was gobsmacked. I couldn't believe what i was hearing. Unbelievable performance, and garfunkel's singing closing out the end of the song, just unreal. Such powerful music. When it finished I was stunned, my jaw was dropped for a minute straight. Blew me away.

Their voices are not young anymore but in some way it makes this song even more haunting. It goes to prove that most memorable singing is not just hitting every note perfect but to stir up your soul; to the point of shedding tears.

These two men are some ofy favorite singers and songwriters in history, and truly they define how music is multi generational.
My mom saw them in NY around 69-70, I was born in 73, and my daughter who loves them was born in 03... Not many duos on history with that kind of traction.
Brilliance is ageless, and timeless. I hope someday my grandkids hear their music and have the same reaction.
    TY Guys!

I just listened to a 7-minute version of Crazy Train live, and then went straight to this video and all thoughts of anything heavier blew out of my head. Simon and Garfunkel will always be masters of music and poetry, dead or alive. There is not a single person alive who could see this and say that these guys aren't talented, and that can be said for virtually no other group. They are truly immortal, gods not of a single genre, but simply of all music.

Isn't it obvious why they voted it down? It's real music - since they've never heard it before, they have nothing to compare it to.
I've been listening to them since they started in the '60's when I was kid; both "Sound of Silence" and "Bridge Over Troubled Water" are 2 of the most haunting and enduring tunes of all time. No matter how many times I hear them, they never get old.

I remember this one comment and believe it should be on every video on UA-cam that contains this memorable performance of Bridge Over Troubled Water. In the end Paul stands back for Art's grande finale. At the end you see him clapping, being amazed after 40 years that his partner in crime was still able to reach those notes. How about that, 40 years after a close partnership, Art is still able to amaze Paul. Best duo ever. Period.
