100% agree i've seen a lot of overhype and flashy bait titles recently on the channel, as long as it sells click it's fine i guess.. but still kinda sad to me
This card isn't that broken to me. Sure I’m certain situations it could win the game but there arnt a lot of spells that have x or are very expensive that you can cast from your graveyard. And even if you did you pay 6 mana for an creature that can be countered or killed and you have to build your deck around it. This just doesn’t seem like a card most decks would need. It’s just another way to die to mindslaver in my opinion.
This card can be absurd with Tendrils of Agony + Underworld Breach + Priest of Gix. Breach lets you play Priest from the graveyard, which adds BBB and lets you pay B to sacrifice it to mill you for 3, which puts enough cards in your graveyard to escape Priest again, with a B gain each iteration at the cost of 2 life. When you life gets low, and storm count gets high, you just drop Tendrils to gain back your life and keep it up until your library is nearly empty. In a Kess deck, you can run a Thassa's Oracle, or just drain everybody down with escaped Tendrils at 20+ storm count.
Yeah underworld breach is by far the strongest recursion engine since it doesn't exile the cards. I was surprised mitch left it out but mentioned the shitty gaeas will which is basicly unplayable imo. You can also throw in brain freeze for mill. In situations like this, the card is broken but overall it's still fine and ofc no where near the powerlevel of channel.
