- Today we'll take a look at one of the setups I use when I go out into the woods to activate. This is just one of many different loadouts I run depending on what I'm doing, but it's representative of what I normally carry when I head out to do an activation in the woods. As always, I welcome any comments or suggestions. Thanks for watching and 73!

That spool for the RG316 is 🔥!! I just ordered one of those. Great video.
Yeah, it makes it SO much easier to manage. RG316 is a hot mess usually, but that reel makes it very easy to deploy and retrieve. Definitely worth the money. Thanks for watching!
Nice pack! That cable reel is a great idea! 73 de Chris K2CJB
Thanks! Yeah, the reel makes managing the coax way easier
Very useful Even, thanks. Where did you get the chair and tables from?
The chair is from Klymit. I forget where the small aluminum table is from. The main table is a Big Agnes Woodchuck table. It's not cheap, but it's definitely worth the money
That’s a high quality bag. Could you share more about your headphones? Some use larger specialized headphones. have you noticed much of a difference or issues using any regular type headphones if that is the case?
Thanks (I am a relatively new ham)
Those are just cheap Skull Candy earbuds I've had for years. I don't really like over the ear headphones. I find they push my glasses into the sides of my head. They sound good and are cheap if I lose or damage them in the woods. I also like to keep stuff small and light so I can pack it easily. Most people prefer over the ear headphones though. I have some, but I don't use them much. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the quick reply. After a few weeks, I realized that I had watched some of your videos not knowing that they all were from the same person. Thank you again.
Looks like you've put a lot of thought into this, Evan. May I ask what park this was? Just curious. Reiner N2PEZ
That particular park is my yard LOL
Where do you keep your snacks and water?
In my backpack LOL
@@EvanK2EJT Hehe just checking. I have the Lab599 radio and this video was super useful. Thanks for the great content!
@@dj6orandrew915 It's a great radio. I have TONS of field radios, but the TX-500 is probably my favorite. Thanks for watching!
