This is all of the portable gear that I usually take camping with me. I can slim the package down to a backpack for SOTA use. Yes, I love me some Elecraft gear.
i finally see a place for 1 of my DX Engineering stickers. I can also see why you want to keep that 891 now, lugging that amp around would get old real fast.
Actually the amp is fairly light. The case it's in is used to carry so much more but you are right, I wouldn't want to carry it for a SOTA activation. That being said the Elecraft radios work so much better than the 891 that it's worth it. I use my KX3 now in the setup and usually without the amp. QRP is too much fun.
It depends on what I can find around the area I want to activate, I do carry some line and a few stakes with me that I can use to guy the mast. I also have some very long velcro straps that I can use to attach it to a small tree trunk or a picnic table leg if I am near one. I use it a lot when in my RV I use the velcro straps to attach it to the rack on the back. It doubles as my flag pole too. Thanks for asking!
Flash to dog who was chilling in boss mode. He was looking as if to say, dude leave me out of this. Lol. Love the pup.
Great kit wondered if you could make a written out list on the items and where they can be purchased. Thanks

Nice video. What do you use to support the DX commander SOTA mast?

Where did you get the bag to carry the Wolf River?? Great video!
Amazon. Here is the link to the one I picked up: www.amazon.com/dp/B00W536AOU/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_pI3DDbRRQG1SZ
You said you got the collapsible fishing pole on Amazon, happen to have a link or product name? I can't seem to find them, and they seem very popular.
Yep. It's gone up in price a little since I got it but here it is: smile.amazon.com/dp/B00BIEBERA/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_uCO9DbGCYA5H1
What case are you using?
I picked up the case from Harbor Freight but they were on closeout at the time. Not sure what they have now.
So what's the maker and model of that antenna analyzer?
It's a MFJ-223. Thanks for watching.
